Hello sir the problem of your car are 1) They are restriction of air in the vaccum such as the car pcv-positive crank case ventilation, icv-intake control valve and some other vaccume hose like the hose from the brake servo when restrict it can cause the car engine too shut down. 2) for the noise it is the timebelt or pulley that may cause that kindly do a mechanical check on them or a spoilt catalyst which have already block the exhaust passage way and it can blow off the engine at any time. Am located in lagos. But if you want to get the catalyst from lagos you can let me know. Thank you

Pls sir did you just say a restriction in a vacuum hose can cause the engine to go off when you step on the break?

boss... i should have no vex abeg. totally forgot. a friend took d ride out in my absence as I dey Lag presently. na so kick starter fail. road side mechanic fixed it. next thing gear oil started to leak. apparently d casing for d gear broke. padi con dey tell me story say na d mechanic do mistake allow something fall insyd gear. pls how will something just fall insyd gear box while fixing the kick starter?

was so pissed i didnt want to argue.

hello GAZZUZZ, i changed the condenser on a 2008 rav 4 with a VDC after i discovered it was blocked after discovering black oil in the system. it was cooling fine and i discovered it by accident. after changing and thorough flushing of the system i recharged with 340 grams of freon. te ac worked perfectly for a while and went into a low pumping mode with somewhat high low side pressures and low high side pessure. i suspect the solenoid id the issue. currently the ac is moody. it works when it feels like working. how can i get a replacement solenoid since i cant convert this externally controlled clutchles compressor to a permanent one as easily as i could have done for an internally cntrolled one. i work in makurdi benue state. i also need a vacuum pump as i have been bleeding air from the system before recharging and this wastes a lot of freon

either your compressor (check valves within the compressor) or expansion valve (which is stuck open) might be defective.
when you changed the condenser did you change the expansion valve and drier?

But a friend's 07 accord currently has a P0455 Evap Emission system leak detected(large leak) - No drivability or fuel consumption issue, Just the MIL lamp on. I dey suspect the Evap Canister but I told him to start by changing the fuel cap, he has been driving it like that, 3 months now.

I have also scanned another 04 accord with a P0496 HONDA Evaporative Emission System High Purge Flow - Car was stalling after every fuel refill , Purge flow solenoid was stuck open..Changed it and problem went away.

a large leak is usually associated with a failed fuel tank cap. make e change am. or atleast do a physical inspection first... bt bros na why U dey suspect d canister?

Thanks for your input brother... when I tell people to use proper oil ,they will say that am peddling my wares around coz I sell USA spec Mobil oil ... I have the same issues with one of my uber cars.. The car has been using road side or 5naira kobo oil ..so when I now switch to Mobil extended performance oil , the car short oil ,to the level between max and empty, basically the middle stick ....no sign of oil leakages the car runs fine etc ..so after I Google am ,it says to first check pcv valves first and change that.. The pcv valves are good for about 20k miles or so. So now I bought a new pcv valves from eBay $10, pistons rings for $40.00 rings over size for $10 and seals for $10 ,so the only thing am waiting for now is a good mechanic.. Can you recommend me one that you use ..am Base in Lagos .and also after the first oil shorten, the engine has been topped with oil for the first time.. But after two weeks only a little of oil shorten , very small short.. Bur before it gets bad I want replace those things that might be causeing oil shorten... I don't want to sit till it is too late.. Thanks again for your post and please send me the mechanic number that did yours ... and you shall live long ...
