mention one reference in the new testament. Just reference it.
The new testament did not really deal with the issue of marriage in a clear terms. But the Bible let us know that when the spirit of truth shall come he shall guide us into all truth and he will teach us all things. Christ is also our wisdom. Through the wisdom of God we understand some things or subject that are not actually stated in the scripture that is why we have the Holy spirit. When Paul speaks about marriage in Corinthians he did not deal with the process rather than encouraging singles to either get married or remain single.

White wedding na oyibo man traditional wedding. Make Africans try dey get sense abeg.

Trad na the main marriage gan gan. Anything else na extracurricular activity.
Many a times I have try to change the misconception people have about this white wedding calling it Oyibo tradition. It is not white wedding it is called Church wedding. Christianity does not have culture, Christianity is for all. Concerning Church marriage the most important thing is carrying yourselves to the church and receiving the blessings of the Church. The reason why many people are confused about the church wedding thing is because of the spending part. No body force you to do party. Carry your wife to church so that they can bless both of you and go home.

false! A good number of our parents did only trad. To say their marriages aren't complete is utterly illogical.

Kindly point out where in the bible where it is stated that a couple must be wedded in the presence of the 'body of Christ'. Cos the bible I read, parents choices of spouse, and where parent's didn't make a choice, parent blessing and go-ahead were well documented as paramount. I can back up my points with the same bible, can you?
You will need to understand the difference between the old testament and the new testament. The old testament is more about Israel while the new testament is about the Church. You will have to come to the presence of God to bless your marriage. You need to know that you are more a Christian than a traditional man. The Jew rejected Christ because of their tradition.
Family › Re: Will You Allow Her To Stay With Her Parents, After Trad Without Church Wedding? by ogascomax: 7:00pm On Nov 13, 2021
As a Christian after your traditional marriage it is important that you do the church aspect of it. Since you are a Christian it is important that the church blessing rest upon your marriage.
Note before; I am not concerned about those ceremony that involve spending. Do your traditional marriage, take your ring to your church, let the pastor or Rev bless both of you and go home. No be by force to pay for hall and cook food. That is where people are getting Church marriage wrong. They only equate Church marriage to spending by doing all those things. If you have money for gown, wear your gone and the main his suit then go and bless your union and it ends there.

Fasting without prayer is as useless as anything. What makes fasting potent is the prayer that you pray. So fasting without prayer is nothing. Prayer is the way. The reason you fast is to condition your mind, soul and body for the task at hand. Fasting enables you to concentrate on the matter.

At 79$ per barrel for crude, the price is getting high and number is talking about it. The government keeps borrowing money.
The average price of crude oil per barrel from 1999 to 2015 was $61, not $100 as Buhari has repeatedly claimed since he became president.

The highest price ever paid for crude oil was between June and July 2008 when a barrel of crude oil was sold around $130 to $147, although the average crude oil price in 2008 ended up being $94.45 per barrel.

In 1999 when the military handed over power to Olusegun Obasanjo, the average crude oil price was $16.56 per barrel. In 2003 when he was re-elected for a second term, average crude oil price rose to $28.05 per barrel and $69.08 per barrel in 2007. The average crude oil price during Obasanjo’s tenure from 1999 to 2007 was $37.18.

By 2008, during Musa Yar’Adua’s tenure, a barrel of average crude oil was $94.45 and later fell to $77. 45 when he died in 2010. During Yar’Adua’s tenure from 2007 to 2010, the average crude oil price was $75.51 per barrel.
Average crude oil price per barrel rose to $107 in 2011 and an all-time high of $109.45 in 2012 as well as $105.87 in 2013. It fell to $96.29 in 2014 and a very record low of $49.49 in 2015. From 2010 to 2015 during Goodluck Jonathan’s tenure, the average crude oil price per barrel was $91

ORIENTATION101:
oga leave story and address main issue why you re and your fellow PDP leaders re living in fool paradise thinking zoning ticket to north will win election.

2015 elections in south south and south east region
PDP got 95%
APC got 5%

2019 elections in south south and south east region
South-East (5 states) ;
APC - 403,968 (19.26%)
PDP - 1,693,485 (80.74%)
Total - 2,097,453 (APC & PDP only)

South-South (6 states) ;
APC - 1,051,396 (32.01%)
PDP - 2,233,232 (67.99%)
Total - 3,284,628

APC improved from 5% in south south to 32%
APC improved from 5% in south east to 19%

How will pdp win election when APC is already eating SS/SE votes while thier own remains untouch.
If pdp zone presidency again to North the beating will pass 2019 own, they way Apc will clear some states in SS/SE will shock them.
Everybody is tired of northern Rule including northerners yet pdp want to zone power to Northcheesy

There is already an article that predicted pdp loosing states in SS/SE if they zone to presidency to north
https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2021/09/06/why-pdp-may-lose-all-southern-states-if-it-zones-presidency-to-north/
This is a dull analysis. PDP election first was rigged, secondly it was North against North. Why are you people thinking at this stage the North will vote a southern candidate over theirs is strange to me.
Politics › Re: Members Of PDP Zoning Committe Arrive Enugu Ahead Of National Convention by ogascomax: 6:24pm On Sep 23, 2021
savcy:
Hear this from a neutral. If rumours of PDP zoning its Presidential ticket to the North is anything to go by, I think that the party is set for yet another disaster in 2023. In spite of all President Buhari's misdeeds and poor handling of the country from 2015-2019, the APC was able to attain 25% votes in some PDP enclaves. Majority of Atiku's votes came from the South (Atiku's perceived strong hold). Now, you have to factor in that most of Atiku's votes came in as a spite on the Buhari candidacy. In 2023, the calculation will be very different, and I don't think the PDP is taking cognisance of this fact. I feel their decision to zone the Presidential ticket to the North is predicated on a fear of losing, and not on sound political calculations. Because, in the last 7 years the game shifted from the North to the South. No well meaning Nigerian, North or South would vote a northern candidate. And from way I see it, most of the PDP governors couldn't care less which party wins in 2023. After all, they have the senate they can always run for.
No well meaning Nigerian, North or South would vote a northern candidate.

What you wrote is just a joke if I may say. So in your mind you think that a Northerner will see a Northerner on a ballot and vote a Southerner. You are a joker. The North will vote any Northerner as long as PDP present such candidate. When I see how some of you think it made me laugh. I will remind you of this by then.
