Please I’ll need clarity on these
Scenario 1: a dependant working with a dependant visa for years with an organization, will the new visa rule apply to them if they decide to switch to a Saw visa even after working with this organization for years
Scenario 2: for a skilled worker extending their visa, will the new visa salary threshold apply to them?
Thank you |

Thank you very much for this Ama15: No….
The following Q&A was on the UK Parliament website:
Q- What about the higher £38,700 salary threshold for the Skilled Worker visa – will that apply to people already here on that visa?
A- No. “Those already in the Skilled work route, and applications made before the rules change, will not be subject to the new £38,700 salary threshold when they change employment, extend, or settle”, according to the Minister for Legal Migration.

Please I need guidance on this; following the new rules for skilled worker visa, will anyone currently on a skilled worker visa be required to meet the salary threshold when extending their visa in the future. (Someone currently on a 3 year skilled worker visa who will be applying for a 2 year extension when the new rules start) |

Zahra29: It Well detailed. For example, someone earning less than the 38k threshold and on a 3 year skilled worker visa, will they be granted the 2 years extension at the expiry of their 3 year-visa even though they earn less than 38k? |

fykes: Don't mind that Oaf...folks that's never had nothing to do with parenting, coming online to advice parents because they can afford data. If you follow this doofus, your wife may end up hating you and jeopardize her employment she has been praying for. Whether or not she’s in a busy city doesn’t mean she can carry the baby everywhere. If she’s at work then she’s at work, there’s no in-between. When you see men that never raised a finger for babies especially at a tender age you can tell. You either all travel together or let your wife go alone. Parenting is not the same abroad, at that age the baby will get used to you, you’re equally the parent as your wife, get that African mentality out of your mind. You can also get a carer easily and affordable in Nigeria. Ps if you all travel together be ready to still be the primary carer for that baby except you can afford nursery which isn’t cheap |

Understanding is clearly your problem, may you be fortunate enough to understand a piece of text fykes: Funny lots get up and travel. The UK is the 4th country I have lived in. My family lives here, I have raised 2 kids here in London. Get off my mention with your myopic daftness |

You’re a funny man or woman. If you have not had a baby of 5 months while working the same job and conditions as OP’s wife in London or outside london then just watch and read comments because you have no idea. Shalom fykes: Did you say 5months old? How do you plan to take care of a 5month old baby? I will advise you to do whatever it takes to go along with her and the baby. Or better still let her go with the baby as long as she's not working in London, y'all can survive in the Uk |

As a professional with years of experience in a field that is not on the green list, does it mean I do not qualify for the PR path or I cant find a job that offers sponsorship in my field? I'm quite confused on how the whole sponsorship and eligibility criteria works for NZ

I'm in Scotland and mine unbelievably drove all the way from Manchester to get it done. Very nice man https://babycircumcision.org.uk/skace: Hello house, please I need help! I just had a baby boy in Glasgow Scotland and I want him circumcised however all the Jewish synagogues I called say there's no one who can do it in Glasgow unless I get to London or Manchester and that's some journey, I'd like to know if anyone here or anyone you know circumcised their baby boy in Glasgow (Professionals) and how they went about it?
Another issue I have is that I legally adopted my orphaned 16 year old cousin and applied for a dependent visa alongside myself and my husband (Student visa) and her application was rejected, they wrote an epistle on how UK doesn't recognise adoptions in Nigeria and that if she had been adopted before 2014 it would have been accepted. We had to leave her back home much to everyone's dismay cos we took her in 2017 after my dad died and my mum took ill. She was living with them. She thinks we've abandoned her back home cos right now we don't even know what course of action to take.
We were told school is an option but that will cost more money, please can the experts and anyone who has an idea on this advise on what we should do? She turns 17 by March. Wrote her GCE last year, we registered her for IT classes cos she wants to be a software engineer and she's really good with Java script,Css and the likes. Please help!!! |
