God formed man, sin deformed man, Jesus christ came so that man can be transformed. People only reject God's existence for 2 reasons--- 1.Lust of the flesh 2.Pride of life one million likes. |
Nigerians are really misinformed about the BH thing. For some political gain the admin is treating the BH problem with "kid-gloves". We have been told before that most of the insurgent fighters are not Nigerians but disoriented and trained militia from Mali , northern parts of Togo, Chad etc. We seem to always shy from the truth for selfish reasons. Both the opposition and current admin politicize the crisis in a bid to paint the other bad with the admin currently gaining more if status quo is maintained till general elections come Feb 2015. This is the reason behind the complacent and nonchalant stance of the FG. The opposition also would try to taint the image of the current admin as BH "real sponsors" to win 2015 elections . The duel(politicizing) between the Fg and opposition remains a negative approach as Nigerian lives are shed on daily basis and our territorial integrity is Compromised. Till date, we dont know what BH is, who sponsors them or how equipped they are. This is a bad score on our intelligence agencies. In the light of no proper info from the right sources, Nigerian are left to deduce and arrive at all manners of conjectures. on one of my many journeys to other African countries, I met a young chap in the Togo(thinking I was a moslem) divulged some info on BH . He said its now the business that jobless and radicalist Malians, Northern Togolese,Chadians and other African countries find themselves in. albeit, they are guns-for-hire . These mercenaries have found themselves in Nigerian territory as they took advantage of a weak government and disguised as Nigerian northerners seeking an Islamic state. The army has to stop the approach that they are fighting Nigerians and fight with all our military might . The lies about being unequipped should stop. |
barcanista: God Bless You and your family. The question is when did the CABAL start raring their head? From the Analysis it is in 2011. That is when Jonathan assumed Power. If We are to go by the clues, Jonathan is either a Product of the cabal OR he is part of the cabal |
RebelLeader15: APC is not a party. It is the Amalgamation of (southern and Northern) Public CriminalsMy myopic( or maybe PDP paid online typist) friend, I didn't say APC is clean. Having said this, the real criminals are in PDP . PDP 's criminality makes that of APC seem like child's play. Inflation is on a steady rice from 1999 PDP led govt till date corruption is celebrated openly without shame. (applies to u and ur selfish gain from PDP ) One in every three Nigerian has got high bp. bp increased steadily with the emergence of PDP . Pdp are experts in rigging cos the started it and mastered the art. So is thuggery. Proliferated arms everywhere using cultist and criminals for their plans t gain power only to loot and ruin ur future. PDP is an organised cult no aspirant can go against. even the current admin is merely controlled and ur CnC is a stooge. deal with it! |
PDP is not a party. It is an occult. |
Its blatant that there is an orchestrated conspiracy against Nigerians by the elites but limiting their fight against Buhari alone by op is myopic. All tenures from obj to present have been well orchestrated to their benefit. See these pple as a society or cabal who have been in key positions over time for obvious reasons. They would stop at nothing to get what they want. This is why it will be hard for the opposition party the APC because the can't stand change for it just might ruin their I'll gotten monies. A few of their input are as follows; Registration of many political parties to kill any chance of a major political opposition party Deliberate neglect of the educational sector. The less sharp minds, the better for them. Weak economy because poor and uneducated populace are almost harmless. Inec can never be independent No state policing etc. |
kolaaderin: APC presidential candidate will decides their fate comes 2015. They should wake up now and let us know who they wanna field.1,000,000 likes. Most of GEJ supporters are irredeemable f**ls. Only a fool would pledge loyalty to someone without merit or reason. |
McAustin92: GEJ till 2015,dumbest president ever liveth,na dis kind time dem dey respect our existence.let em enta finish, tory go change, any presido that cannot protect and respect d existence of iz amiable citizens is quirky ,GEJ is a perfect example of diz, north dey torn apart, people aint safe down there, but still all that matterz to him iz that sit comez 2015,shey he wan die dea ni? |
“The worst illiterate is the political illiterate. He hears nothing, sees nothing, takes no part in political life. He doesn’t seem to know that the cost of living, the price of beans, of flour, of rent, of medicines, all depend on political decisions. He even prides himself on his political ignorance, sticks out his chest and says he hates politics. He doesn’t know, the slowpoke, that from his political non-participation comes the prostitute, the abandoned child, the robber and, worst of all, corrupt officials, the lackeys of exploitative multinational corporations”. |
aresa: What's else is new and what's nationwide about some Jonathan funded gatherings confined to SE and the usual suspects? Its so mind troubling to see that the black race is against itself. This pple are nothing but misguided and empty. You are so right. |
agabusta: This is a good write-up. It calls for sombre reflection from the FGN, the PDP, the APC and the generality of Nigerian people. |
Followership gets a huge chunk of the blame. We demand little from our leaders. Are very divided along ethno-religious lines. Its-our-turn syndrome is a major problem of the followership. So many a times we support pple who give immediate gains(rice,10k-TAN, etc) than seek long term developmental growth. It would be no surprise to see that an intelligent and mentally sophisticated individual loses election to someone of lesser qualities because the latter is richer. we have no ideology. It is why these rulers keep succeeding in getting into power without results or promise of it. Needless to say is that the Nigerian polity now seems to favour criminals and sycophants. We hardly question the xters of those vying for political offices thus, ex convicts ,impeached governors and murder suspects contest elections. The problem is follwership. A very docile and passive follewrship soaked deeply in ignorance and myopia. |
Ik09: Will it really make any difference? |
Africans who are oblivious of western sinister influence on our continent are enormous. This makes the few who are aware to seem insignificant and helpless at doing anything. More disheartening also is the use of some Africans against Africa. It may come as a surprise to many that many of our so-called elite and leaders carry out policies that are promulgated against the continent by western powers and elite. There was a case in Jos ,plateau state where a young doctor investigated the infertility of a group of women within an age group a side effect of an immunisation/vaccination. It doesn't just end with depopulation and genetically engineering viruses for profit, their plans also extend to world domination. They control the economy of the world and those few countries who aren't in subjugation are often referred to as unfriendly . Now,there are myriad of societies that are working to see this through and have even achieved monumental success as they decide who governs the powerful countries of the world. Their members are powerful and wealthy to influence the world events and economies. Many may doubt the existence of a such and whether pple are capable of such wickedness but I think we all know that the human mind is capable of many thoughts. These pple believe in what they do so vehemently as a normal christian or muslin believe and hold on to their faith To them, the rest of humanity are mere social animals. |
omenka: What a shame.I had to quote you because in just two short paragraphs, u have brilliantly enumerated the tricks of the govt and the gullibility of the masses. This truth you have written doesn't just come by being educated by having a sound mind. Keep up the work bro! |
Fools would better describe us. Nigerians are not cowards but COWards. |
Descartes: Meanwhile 10 percent, 8 percent and 6 percent of individuals polled respectively said bad government/leadership, high level of poverty and corruption is the major cause of terrorism in the country. The very few with common sense. |
Poor education, negative sensitization of issues, divide and rule phenomenon causing bigotry. No proper orientation programs and awareness campaigns and poor socialisation process has resulted in a youth that is so full of bigotry, low thinking individuals devoid of objective analytical Thinking. The youth are the worst of all the issues we have. They are at the receiving end of poor admin yet do nothing but sing praises for small constructions like roads and such. Many can't even picture an ideal Nigeria, having been sold to mental slavery. I thank God when I see a few who aren't caught up in the web of ignorance. It leaves some measure of hope. |
Poverty kills confidence. Majority won't be properly educated and are most likely to be ignoramus. How else would sharing of rice or promised jobs for individuals who support campaign(TAN) yield results? |
Most of you give her credit for debt relief right? How much are we owing now. How many of you know that debt relief wasn't all that a good thing as sold to us? Don't get me wrong and I am not a bigot. I have nothing against igbos but I have profound fear for that woman and the policies she has pushed over time . Her presidency would be IMF overly influenced and we know that IMF ain't good to Africa. |
To think that some pple look up to this man as their mentor. |
ikevin: are you referring to Nigerians as fools or I don't get you. In as much you don't like the presidency, am quite sure the holy book talks about respect for the elderly ones. That is the president with the first and second ranked northern rulers, yet you are so cavalier to spew disrespect. Can you defend you comment in the next 40 years if you are seeking for votes, " fools come and vote for a fool to rule this foolish country" abi . Use your vote in 2015 wisely and stop insulting people's parents.one problem we have in this country is what you just mentioned. Respect. Most times even when not deserved. Respect and even pseudo-worship. Even when these pple you want us to respect are thieves? No no no! I don't do that kind of respect. Respect is deserved. So even a ten year old has my respect if he performs to or beyond expectations. I am not in that prison of undue respect and worship. About seeking votes, do you know there are credible pple who don't want to be involved in naija politics because its polity is bad? Such pple already know how the youths have been reduced to low thinking bigots. Surely, not everyone is a fool in naija. You aren't the only one who read the message. Those who know they don't belong to the class of fools simply liked or ignored it. When the wise amongst a pple are so insignificant, How would you address all? Have we not as a pple voted for wrong pple amidst better ones? No sir, I won't want to contest for any political position in this kinda structure of our polity. |
There is no INEC!!! |
what do you expect from an accidental president who is not statesmanly? |
Make the centre less attractive. The only solution remains a confederation. |
useless politicians always fooling the gullible. Govt of fools, by the fools and for the fools. |
Everybody on Naira land is a wise person. I mean, we run into baseless conclusions here often. We are so prompt to accuse pple and even explain in details events we don't know much about. This is the problem with us, we are so wise that common sense elude us. Its gej, its boko haram, its buhari and boko haram bla bla bla. For all I care, it could be anyone of them and since security in Nigeria and all its apparatus are nothing to write home about, there won't be any conclusive investigations. This blast would fade as all those we have also forgotten. we will only remember it during our next baseless arguments. |
ogbronx: As for we the people, we are the reason ourThis article is the simple truth. The writer of this piece is one of a very few in this country who are idealistic and objective. Even this thread won't get enjoy much participants thus depicts the kind of youths we have. The above quoted is the major problem of this country. The youths shout disintegrate Nigeria but fail to see that the same problems would linger in all the respective regions. Imagine a Niger delta with asari dokuba as politian. I am yet to see any region that won't be burdened with corruption, nepotism, bigotry and mediocrity. |
As for we the people, we are the reason our country is the mess it is. We have allowed politicians set for us the bar of mediocrity, which we now wallow in as a collective. We are quick to praise governors for building roads, we don’t even mind dancing to their songs of shame when they cut tapes for the launch of transformers that are likely to see more days of darkness than light. We have had our brains transformed by TV ads that compare one of our worst leaders ever, Goodluck Jonathan, to some of the best leaders the world has ever produced. Only in Nigeria can such an insanity pass. We claim we want corruption to stop but we will not vote for those who don’t share bags of rice. We have now turned the two main political parties into some of West Africa’s major distributors of rice. Pretending we haven’t been part of the problems of our country is to deceive ourselves. Not only have we been part of the problems, we are essentially the problem. We have valued money over character, we have valued rice over competence. Our low threshold for leadership has now meant that men who should be rotting in jail are not only campaigning to be governors, some have even won. Even in the historically enlightened South-West, we have men who if they dare enter the United States will be arrested and jailed. Men who have had crime movies made just for them. If in doubt, just Google “Orange is the new Black” to see how one of such men is now a kingmaker here in Nigeria. It is easy to say poverty is responsible for why we no longer care about anything but money, but no one has scientifically proved that poverty erodes the human sense of value. There are poor people who will not compromise their values for cash let alone cooked or uncooked rice. That is not to say some people who collected bags of rice chose their candidates based on who gave the bigger bag or who didn’t give at all. Ekiti State, for instance, has had ‘stomach infrastructure’ debated against conventional infrastructure. No one seems to speak about human development. |
