How old are you? Do you mean People from the Northern part of Nigeria do not know God and does not worship God or have leaders before the coming of Islam to Africa? People can defend anything. But that should not include to insult them. Religion and Language is one of the characters of human beings. anigbajumo:
Thanks for your response.
Bro,right from ages nd over the years, religious nd tradition av mixed up in the northern part of Nigeria even before BUHARI was born.It is hard to see any traditional gods in the core north, wat they belief in is Almighty Allah not to talk of other religion. You can't dissociate religion nd tradition in northern part of Nigeria (I mean core north) not the like of North central even thou most of them are Muslims dominated states.
Pls don't dwell ignorance of what you don't knw.Stop deceiving people here pls.
Amir,is just like religious leader that explain more about religion to fellow muslim. You can't see Amir to interfere in any religion issue outside Islam,Amir is an Islamic leader that has nothing to do with Christian but Islamic matters.
Sultan on the other hand is the number one recognized Islamic leader in Nigeria,nd the Paramount traditional ruler in the northern part of Nigeria (scroll up nd see where I wrote Tradition nd religion av mixed up in the north). All these things have been there over the years.Christian has nothing to do with this, stop all the nonsense of islamization of Nigeria.
About Army jihadist.Islam has nothing to with terrorist,is far from our religion. Let me ask you this simple question. If truly terrorist are Muslim, why did terrorist has killed more than Muslim in the north even their territory of attacks in Nigeria is the north which is Muslim domain,85% of terrorist attacks in the word are Muslim dominated countries, why?? Or did you mean terrorist (claimed Muslim) will be happy to kill a fellow Muslim.
If they are truely muslim army jihadist, why are they killing Muslims (reduce the number of Muslim in the world)??Terror attacks has been going on in Muslim dominates countries than any other country in the world just to tanish the image of Islam but it can never be successful coz Islam is the only religion blessed by Allah.
If islamisation of Nigeria is agenda of northern leaders, they would had accomplished that when the likes of IBB,GMB,OBj are head of state. |

Don't fall for this, it's either the people that wrote the report takes Nigerians to be fools or the report claims to be smart. why claiming over 700billion and not mentioning that only 420 billion was released. That is why over 70% of the projects embarked upon are at various stages of completion. May be if the ministry had been told they will get only 420billion, they would have embarked on projects that amount can complete. The ministry was set up to fail from inception. |

You got it earlier but am afraid you are getting confused also. There is a supreme being God. As many people and race that are created so they all have their unique ways of interacting with God. The fact is despite one's level of education and foreign language proficiency one had acquired, you still feel relaxed and comfortable the most when talking with your parents/siblings in your native language. Same way we would have felt if we were to interact and warship God in our native way (traditional religion). But that is not to because of our desire to embrace anything foreign to the detriment of local ones. Recall that all the options here are foreign , Christianity, Islam and earthiest. If your confusion is that the Asians that brought these modes of worship did not tell you what will happen to African traditional religion and its worshipers then you have to wait for a long time. The first question you will ask yourself is did they know that there were people leaving in this part of the world the time those religious books were written? Does the African traditional religion say any good thing about Whitman's religion?. LordCenturion: Guy, u are not the only one in this mess, although my Dad is a Muslim while my mum is a Christian and I have both parents (sorry for the losses), I have knowledge of both religions, but to be candid they are not helping humanities, I quit religions this year, and will renounce it by next year, although I believe that there is supreme being who created everything, who doesn't need our worship, that's the way I view that supreme being, if he does have religion, we would have had single religion, besides that, religion was created by humans just because we have free will, there is no hell fire for the destruction of souls, we will reap everything we sow in this world either by untimely death or so ever, hell fire was created by humans,. The supreme being am talking about has given us everything we need to survive in this world, it's just left for us to discover it , but we are too lazy to discover it, especially we Africa all because we want miracles, we are searching for miracles, why kumuyi, adeboye, oyedepo and all those old pastors can't be compare with tb Joshua and this new generation pastors (Chris Okafor, fufenyin omowomo etc) in terms of miracle, why new generation pastors does more miracles than those old pastors, is it that their sources of power are different or something, are they worshiping different gods? . Actually every regions have their own religions and believe but we Nigerians leave our own believe for foreign believe, we leave our own culture and language for foreign ones, we promote and value foreigners religions and culture than our own, I just believe that there are some powerful people in this world or scientists or something that knows the secret of this world, but they decide to keep it because of religions and for the peace of the world,i know that the world will soon wake up through our generations, our eyes are now opening, some pastors and imams knows that religion is a lies but they keep promoting it in order to get what they want

I see ikpeazu vacating office today and subsequently he will be arreted to face a case of forgery.

I see ikpeazu ending up in jail.

That school will be the first point of attack by the militants and even the products of that school will mostly end up as cultist and militants.
I know most people will not agree with this but a more peaceful environment within the Niger Delta like Akwa-Ibom , Rivers or so will be more suitable for that university. |

Jamb is likely to assign lots of candidates to private and state owned institutions.. Think about the poor masses who are academically bright and can only afford to pay the fees of the federal owned institutions, what do you expect them to do when assigned to institutions they can't afford?
The goverment should have a re-think! Scrap JAMB! Leave Pume alone! You can only be assigned to one of the schools you filled in your JAMB form. |
Education › Re: UNIPORT Announces The Sale Of Post-UTME Form On Newspaper (pic) by OGGS2000: 11:37am On Jun 07, 2016 |
Godswillnwaoma: Reasons why post utme should not be scrapped.
1. Not all those that score 180 will be admitted because there is quota for admission for every department by NUC.
2. Unizik as a case study will never admit every student that score 180 due to the high number of applicants, so post utme exam and result will determine who will be admitted and should not be admitted base on the general cuf of mark.
For instance the minimum number of students that will admitted in each department is 150, and is likely that more than number have scored above 150 so with post utme the number will be reduced and those that score high will be admitted.
Unizik my school will never admit every student that 180 in jamb making post utme exam necessary.
180 is the minimum, the school may choose to cut off at 250 if that serves their purpose but no post UME. it is evil to collect 5000K each from 20000 students when you know your capacity is 2000 only. It is stealing and it breeds corruption. |

The JTF captured the wife and child. when did the wife commence communication with the husband to know where he is and to call him to come that thy are now celebrity receiving audience from the governors and president. Even the husband receives the best of medical treatments from the military despite having caused the untimely death of many of them. is he the first Boko haram person to be captured by the military or he is a special because he is married to one of the Chibo girls. Please stop spreading information you do not understand. to arrive at N138 for a litre of PMS, it is the landing cost of PMS to the shore plus various charges by Government agencies which are all together about 50% of the landing cost. This is why people were arguing that there was no subsidy before. The question was why must government double the cost of product first and they collect this money in dollars from the importers and then ask them to apply for subsidy reimbursement which will not be paid on time. If government wants to help the people why not wave the numerous taxes on the imported products. At $45/ barrel of crude oil, landing cost of PMS can not be more than #70 to #80 per litre. It is the import duty charges and other government agency taxes that takes it up to #138 then when you add the traders profit and extortions from government officials you get #145. In actual fact Government does not bring money from other sources to subsidise petroleum products what happens is that most of the money they would have made from import duty charges and taxes on PMS were used to pay to importers as a rebate after they have soled at Government approved price. Abrahamperkins22: Before you wail on the Deregulation of the oil sector. This data would help you. According to statistics Nigerians consume 33m of Pms daily. According to the Pms pricing template of May 2016 the landing cost of Pms is 138.1 You should know importers have to make margin a minimum of 5-10% is ideal considering the volume of product involve to cover overhead cost and sundry. Now this will amaze you. Using 145 NGN bench mark as against 86 NGN. There is a difference of 59 NGN which the FG has to pay the rogues called oil importers via subsidy claim. Since Nigeria consumes 33m daily It means Nigeria Nigeria would be paying 59x33,000,000=1,947,000,000 billion In one year we would be paying the rogues. 1,947,000,000x365= 710,655,000,000 billion. This is over 10% of our annual budget. This funds would be used to provide palliatives, inf rastructural projects provide and medicals care for Nigerians. This govt has the will to cater for Nigerians. That fund is more than Fashola and Amaechi budgets together I see NNPC selling far below the capped price. Govt must control price for commodities that are very essential for the masses. |

GudluckIBB: Ben Bruce is a minus to Niger delta. There are two sides to this budget issue. Many people have been focused on the corruption and greed of the NASS. No one have looked at the non performance of our south-south members of PMB administration. The minister of Transportation is from S/S, The DG budget office is from S/S. The only major project missed out from the budget is a project for the S/S, from transport ministry. How can both Amaechi and Udoma miss the only major project for their zone?, and when they realised it they did not follow the formal channel of communication between the executive and the NASS who also is from the S/S to pass the supplementary budget to them. The minister went with it during budget defence and it was accepted but when submitted to the appropriation committee they dropped it on technical grounds because it was not presented the right way but they did not drop the money for it, they called it floating fund. The Lagos - Calabar rail line is not a new concept, It has been on the board for more than three years. Money has been spent on it. The front end engineering has been done, The design drawings and costing have been completed and funding agreement reached with China. If one also remember that the NASS also said that no allocation was made to East - West road from that transport ministry and this same ministry has also dropped the maritime University in the same S/S. one begins to wonder if actually our man is actually working for our collective interest. Politics is local and one must work for the local interest first. It is not a coincidence that both chambers are headed by the North, and the appropriation committees are also headed by the North. They are there for a purpose. so if an opportunity comes where they can technically remove project meant for the south and divert the money to boost their own they will gladly do that. this is a lesson for those who sees nothing on the lopsided appointments of the Government. |

my wife of fifteen years left me in Lagos to work for her ex boy friend in the east. It all started one evening she got a call that she should come to take a job at the state capital. She asked me if she can go I said if you want. She did not tell me the relationship she has with the caller she said its from someone she gave her CV. She asked me to book flight for her because she will go in the morning and I did. Two days later she called that I should book flight for her to come back and I did. A day later she called that they called that she should come and resume the next day, I made another flight booking for her. When I travelled for Christmas holiday I saw she was very happy but was surprised to hear that she was paid only forty thousand naira as her salary for the month. Last year when I moved to Lagos from where we were she left a job that pays her two hundred thousand naira plus car and driver on the reason that the family should stay tougher. This got me thinking that there must be other reason for the relocation. I got a call yesterday and I was asked why I left my wife to and work for her Politian ex boyfriend if am tired of the marriage. I called her to know the relationship she has with the man that gave her work she confirmed he is her ex boyfriend. I told her she can not marry two men at a time. she has chosen to be mistress to a politician she should pack out of my house. She is begging that I should forgive her. my problem now is if she can do this when I can pay my bills comfortably, what will she do if situation changes tomorrow. |
