Delta State is a sport state and the undisputed sport capital of Nigeria. The state has won the past two National Sport Festival held in Nigeria. It was already preparing massively for that to be held in Edo but was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The state also spends much on athletes. We are about to expose how they were able to achieve this.
These are the top four sport stadiums in Delta State:
1. STEPHEN KESHI STADIUM, ASABA.
Stephen Keshi Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Asaba, Nigeria. It was formerly known as Asaba township stadium, and was named after football great, Stephen Keshi. The stadium hosted the 2018 African Championships in Athletics and has a capacity of 22,000 people, all covered. It was commissioned in 2018.
Don't try Beans since he is not Yoruba. Assuming he is Yoruba, you would have fried Beans and Alara. We South South people will play the tribal card with you people. We have started and we shall also do same come 2020. Since you people think you are more tribalistic than others, we are set for you people.
Lamasta: Land mass is one economic mass is another...
But Niger State is enough to stand as a country with a huge land mass
Lagos state has the least land mass but is enough to sponsor the whole Nigeria budget as small as it is the billions or trillions coming out from there will develop the whole land mass of all Nigeria if there is no corruption.
muchroom: Nigerians are the happiest people seriously. I mean, who ever thought? Yesterday, a video of a young boy negotiating terms of surrender with his mum after misbehaving went viral. And just look at what a Nigerian has done with the vocals. I literally had my eyes soaked with water watching this over and over. We have some amazingly talented people, Nigeria.
Newboss: Yes, you can. That's why they ask the year you graduated. You can say you didn't graduate, if they ask. Attendance is not graduation. People need to be more specific when asking questions to avoid loopholes like this.
"He's slept with a married woman". The woman in question could be his wife tho. Or is she not a married woman?
There is no loopholes Oga. Stop confusing people. When you say you attended a school, it mean you graduated from that school and the year next to it means that is the year you graduated and not the year you attended the school.
Don't support rubbish. The only thing that saved him is he didn't include Bachelor of Law (BL) before the Nigerian Law School (NLS). In conclusion, he never got BL from Nigerian Law School if I'm to interpret it as a lawyer.
However, he was just trying to be smart by not disclosing that he never graduated and the intent is simply fraudulent.
NOC1: Are they talking about being a lawyer or a barrister?
People mistake this two things, however I read where they said he went to law school, he might have, but didn’t pass, so you can’t see his name on register but that doesn’t stop him from answering a law graduate.
On his biography as pasted here, he never claimed to have graduated from Law School, he ended it at his University degree. If that’s what he has been using to work he has no problem.
Is just like an Engineering graduate who is not registered with COREN you have Engineering degree but you are not a registered Engineer but not human can stop you from saying you graduated as an Engineer from university.
I know same is applicable to pharmacy and Accountancy
So what you are saying in essence is that if you attended DELSU but you didn't graduate, it means you can fill DELSU as school attended in your CV or a form abi? We are all learning. I'm a Barrister and I practice as well. So lecture me sir or ma.
Please note, I don't believe any news from Sahara reporters except same is reported in a reputable medium. Sahara reporters is known for spreading falsehood for popularity.
But I was attracted to learn something from your 'quote'.
This is also common in Ogun state as well. I noticed that where there is scarcity of water or difficulty in drilling the soil for water with its high cost, this is common. Ogun and Enugu are like 5 and 6.
The red/clay coloured water which is as a result of common flood when it is raining in Ogun and Enugu, has become the only source of water and hope for the poor people in these states.
Development without water, electricity, and good housing is a lie. What is happening in these part of the world is not development jare. The stage we are here is the stage other developed countries are in 1800.
tracychelsea13: Okowa is a PDP governor campaigning for Obaseki another PDP but both of them know who Osinbajo is. Osinbajo is a detribalized Nigerian who has worked tirelessly to unite Nigeria and Nigerians.
Haha! Should I post the list of his aides to tell you he is tribalistic? You people will just vomit trash. He may be a god politician but that doesn't mean he is not tribalistic.
Don't be a fool. There are three senatorial districts n Delta. Delta Central is purely for Urhobos, Delta North for the Igbo groups and Delta South for Ijaw (majority), Isoko, Itsekiri and Urhobo.
The Deputy Senate President is from Delta Central.
The population of Urhobos in Delta Central alone is 1.5m+ which is higher than the whole of Igbo groups in Delta North. If we are to include the Urhobos in Delta South, then .....[/s] Mister man in your Delta central we still have itsekiri and okpe kingdom people there or are you including okpe kingdom as Urhobo? Mr man Urhobo are not the majority in Delta state, they can only be majority when you count enuani, ika and ukwuani people differently but if you count them together they're the majority.
Hahaha. I'm using fact to buttress my argument here.
2006 population census.
Delta Central 1,575,738 Delta North 1,229,282
If we even want to remove the said Okpes you are talking about. The Okpes are in two local government in Delta. Okpe with a population of 128,398 (note 2006 population census) Sapele(another Okpe LGA where you find the Itsekiris has a population of 174,273. If we combine 128,398 and 174,273, it will give you 302671.
Minus 302671 from 1, 575, 738 it will give you 1, 273, 067 which is still higher than the population of the whole of anioma(Igbo groups) which is 1, 229,283. And mind you, there are Isokos and non Igbo groups in Delta North where the Igbo groups are. Remember, one of the Danfo Driver singer who died is Isoko from an Isoko town in Delta North.
And also if we add the population of Urhobos in Warri South LGA, Bomadi LGA and Patani LGA all in Delta South, it will be with hundreds of housands difference to beat Igbo groups in Delta North.
It is obvious that the Urhobos are the majority. That is why they dominate Delta State plitically. Don't be fooled. Okowa is the first Igbo man to be governor of Delta State and it was through Ibori who is an Urhobo man.
I know you will quote this comment but please use fact not anger and self deceit.
Some Isoko persons might have been part of Urhobo union. But Isoko on the whole was always independent. Isoko in all colonial document was always written and spelt independent of Urhobo.
The Urhobos I know offline are dying over Okpe Urhobo denials. It drives you lots mad.
I gave you fact if you like dispute it with no source or proof. Drop the book or article link sir. It will make the argument better.
Some Isoko persons might have been part of Urhobo union. But Isoko on the whole was always independent. Isoko in all colonial document was always written and spelt independent of Urhobo.

The Ikas are not dying over Igbanke abi? Madman in nairaland.
Igboid: Let me give you an insider information. The current Igbanke mainstream are breaking away from Ika tag. Their politicians and their lackeys in Edo government led by Gloria Adagbon are pushing for establishment of Igbanke ethnic nationality, distinct from Ika.
The idea is that claiming Ika is making them outsiders in Edo state, and tha their claims to Ika doesn't sit well with the Binis whose Bininization drive on Igbanke are on steroids. Igbankes also feel left out and not being carried along by Ikas in Delta state.
So any Igbanke that tells you he is Igbanke, is actually political. Because that's the current political decision of the people. The apolitical ones among them will tell you that they are Ika.
It is obvious that you are a fool. But if Okpe person tells you he is Okpe and not Urhobo, he is not political but truthful abi. This guy you be dead sperm wey form.
Igboid: Stop writing trash. Isoko has always been independent of Urhobo since colonial times. They started asserting their distinction from Urhobo to the colonial masters. This wasn't the same with the Igboids in Delta and Rivers. The equivalent of Igbo vs Igboids would Urhobo vs Okpe. Okpe recently are seeking independence from Urhobo.
Isoko was part of Urhobo until 1957 when Chief James Otobo influenced the creation during his tenure in Western House of Assembly, Ibadan.
Even till now, you won't hear any Isoko song without adding Urhobo to it. like 'Isoko and Urhobo' which shows that they still recognise the unity then. But still yet, Urhobo nor carry am for head like una Igbos. Igbos for worst pass white for colonialism.
Oghene1st: Hahaha it seems you don't get it. Isokos are not Urhobos and they aren't part of us. And for your information, the president general of Urhobo Progress Union, the umbrella body of Urhobo nation made up of the 24 clans of Urhobo is from Okpe clan of Urhobo. Okpe people will decide that not you. When they want to leave Urhobonation, they will do as the Isokos did with Isoko Development Union (IDU). We don't force people to be Urhobos.
Go to the palace of the Orodje of Okpe and tell him they are not Urhobos and see if you will leave the palace alive with your Igbo cursed behaviour.
