macluvph1: The godfather thing is everywhere bro, even in the north. Examples abound. I doubt if there is any politician who sailed to power on his own. Same will happen in biafra. It is a way of life and there is little or nothing we can do. Lemme ask you, why do you think the politicians in biafra will be different from What we have now? Do you think the rivers, delta, Edo, akwa ibom and cross river man will allow the igbo man full control of the oil resource? How will biafra eliminate marginalization especially of the minority? You see, my brother, it is neither here nor there. What we need as a people is fairness to all. Fairness in this instance does not translate to boundaries. All we need to advocate for is the need and conscious commitment to building stronger institutions and not powerful individuals as is the case today. Btw, I think you are married to my sister. |

macluvph1: We may not have achieved much but the blame should not go to one region. Every region in Nigeria have had one form of representation or the other at the centre. The question is 'what did they do for their region'? Take the last administration for example, the igbos were adequately represented. From Secretary to govt to Senate deputy president to house of reps deputy speaker to minister, they were fully represented. Did their presence in govt change the face of igbo land? NO it ddnt. Nigeria may not have served the purpose Of a few but it has served the purpose of many. I tell you brother, we are better of as Nigeria than small porkets of countries. |

Truckpusher: No need for petitions. You can approach the high court with you allegations and commence prosecution. I hear wike has never lost a case in any court in rivers state. Why petition Efcc when you can approach the court with you ........... |

[quote author=rottennaija post=44192729] This man's talks senselessly. Is cross river States topography like Rivers state? Is their land as muddy as Rivers state? Why not probe the project to a certain where the money went? Was the scope of the monorail the same? Are the designs and detail the same? Are they passing through land or did bridges needs to be built for them if they are crossing the road? These are issues you find out. Rivers state needs another mode of transportation apart from road to curb their traffic issues. The population is growing faster than roads built. No amount of roads built can do that. This man should put politics aside and do what will eventually bring benefits to the people of rivers state. [/quote lemme guess! You have your head sitting majestically on your shoulders. Sensible post. Pls do not relent in talking sense into the heads of the ignorant. Too many of them here. Kudos. 1 Like |

rottennaija: I have seen the Calabar monorail. It's not same as what we have in rivers state both in scope and design. That of Calabar connects tinapa with the conference centre within same vicinity. It looks like a toy compared to the rivers monorail. Too much politics playing out here. He pretends as if he doesn't know the exact amount spent so far. He said about so and so amount. I will advise wike to go ahead and complete that project. The benefits are immeasurable. If he does, he will write his name in gold, but if he does not, posterity will judge. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

okuya: Hahahahahaha But I think the job to be done is worth the amount estimated. If one airport is about 50km long and they will do double fencing, then that money is not too much. Also consider terrain, accessibility and community relationship issues. My layman view. Pls our civil enginners and architect in the house can do a proper breakdown of iron rods, cement, blocks, wire mesh, Labour, and logistics that will be involved. Tnx. 1 Like |

MacluvPH: I am set for the debate now. I will start by introducing myself. I am delta by tribe. I grew up in warri. I am married to an igbo woman from ebonyi state. My business partner is from enugu state and my best friend is from Abia state. He is from the ngwa region (he likes being addressed as such) Just to drop a hint of who I am so u can appreciate my point of view. My point is ipob does not represent the entire igbo nation. They lack organisation and cohesion. Many of them are oblivious of the reason for the struggle. |

Sctests: **** You reason like a toad. oya jump go front. **** show me one picture of biafra flag flying everywhere. It's very irritating when nonentity like u come here and associate biafra with ipob. Trying to steal the show all the time thereby creating the very erroneous impression that all igbos are ipob touts/supporters. When in reality very decent igbo men and women who have earned their names will have nothing to do with ur like. It's painful to see reptiles like you dragging freeborns into ur imaginary battle with the Nigerian nation. Cowardice is when u know u are a fool but feign bravery in the face of imminent failure. |

MacluvPH: You are a lieing fat dog. All I ask for is the picture of the flag flying majestically at ihiala junction. The first reason ipob must fail is because they are too dumb. You pple cannot engage in a reasonable discussion. Always insulting pple and calling them names. 1 Like 1 Share |

wadetaw202: I do not want to sat Amaechi is a saint but why hasn't wike exposed him amidst their bitter rivalry. I believe wike merely used that as a bait to woo the pple. Or maybe wike is culpable having been in amaechis govt. Wike should prove his accusations against st Amaechi or just be sikebt |

sexybrooke: Who will lead the onslaught on the biafran end? Who will constitute a new govt after the biafran victory? How much will the igbos let go in terms of investment, marriage and residency? How closely knitted are the igbos, what is their level of unity on this issue? Can the igbos afford an implosion (which from all indication is apparent should a war broke). How much consultation have the war mongers make? What will the new country look like? Self determination must come with proper planning andexecution . You do not start an uprising against an organised country when you have not yet put your house in order. A house that is decided against itself cannot stand. Now the problem is many biafra agitators do not know why they do so from my findings. I stay more in aba than phc these days and I have Bern asking questions on this burning issue. There is this lame believe that in biafra everybody will not only be equal, the govt will pay those without jobs and provide accommodation also. My lil contribution. 1 Like 1 Share |

Sctests: Pls send a pix of the flag flying at ihiala junction. Lemme tell you my lil experience in the east. Most of the pple I mingled with dissociated themselves from ipob. I was in aba for some days. There I discoverd that the ipob pple are the jobless and uneducated ones. Even at that, the % of the uneducated in ipob is very negligible. I still want to see the pix of the flag flying at ihiala junction bro. 1 Like 1 Share |
