TonyeBarcanista: Tonye, Am not trying to defend Amaechi here but I think you are not been fair to say amaechi locked up the juduaciary for 2 yrs. There were issues which led to the shutting down of the Judiciary. The problem is our pple are too impatient and biased to allow things done rightly. That issue was over flogged, but I think Amaechi was right constitutionally. Ad for the pensioners he got pension managers to take charge. The pensioners ddnt like the idea. So many things dwell in misinformation. Amaechi remain the man to beat in rivers state as u rightly stated. Happy Easter bro. |

Same at rumuokuta/NTA road yesterday. Coming from rumuokuta going to location junction, just befor the Catholic church was completely blocked. I think it was a funeral or so. Guess what? There is a big secondary school field on the other side of the road with enough space for canopies and car park. #Totalmadness |

nwakibie3: I think it was omitted. Amaechi talked about it and wike visited the issue when he came on board. |

Not many of them(the youths) will read this. Write about wike, Amaechi, buhari or any other spent canon, the resultant traffic will bring down nairaland server. What a generation. |

mykl01: All am saying here is what the inec man said. He never admitted that the materials were fake. He said the error (he ddnt mention the type of error) was discussed. That's my point. I ddnt day what I said because the pdp is involved. I believe the issue of fake, rigging, violence, desperation etc is not peculiar to one party. What we do in Nigeria is far from elections. They are all guilty of one offence or the other. |

The OP is a bloody liar. Inec never said the result sheets were fake. I listened to the program too. The real fake pple are those of u who swallow whatever you hear hook, line and sinker. What inec said was that the error was noticed as soon as the package was opened. Thereafter, inec called all the party agents together for a meeting on the ommission brouhaha. They all agreed to go ahead with the election at that point. Only for the pdp to turn around and cry fake materials. Tell the pdp to present a sample of the so called fake materials let's see. You said inec initially denied that it was not fake. How fake can u be. How can they claim responsibility for a non existent lie. How can inec say there were fake result sheets when they already called a meeting on same issue. Even in you write up you did admit that inec called a meeting only to twist the story at the end to justify your fake title.lazy bloggers everywhere. Too many fake pple on social media including the banana plantation OP. #AleaysTwistingFacts. |

SeverusSnape: It's not a buhari or inec thing. The stake is getting higher by the day. The real problem is with the players and their supporters. Ordinary pple like you who will blame buhari for everything without throwing a word of caution to the gun wielding thugs and their sponsors. |

I hear pple shout 'we nor go gree'. Some shout 'kill anybody trying to rig'. And many kinds of unprintable instructions. How did we get here as a pple. How did it get to the point where brothers now kill brothers all in the name of politics. What differentiates us from vultures. Rivers has become a killing field and pple are shouting 'we will resist them'. Resist who? Who is them? Some rivers state indigenes behave like they will take a bullet for Amaechi or wike. They keep insiting the gullibles. What I expect from anyone living in rivers state is to preach peace and educate the pple on what is right. No need shouting pdp is rivers and rivers is pdp or shouting APC change. In the first place, all the contestants are rivers indigenes. They all have ties with each other at some points. They are all politicians. If u look closely u will notice that all politicians are same irrespective of party affiliation. For instance, mavin kobana and chibudum wuche moved to the APC just bfor the supreme court judgement that affirmed wike's election. So also a lot of former APC members jumped ship soon after they lost at the supreme court. Who is fooling who here? Does belonging to pdp or APC change a thief to a saint overnight? I Realy don't get it when I hear pple shout 'we will resist them'. The problem with our electoral process is me and u. Otherwise why should anybody die for something that should advance the course of man. A few posers: Why should a house of assembly member mention scholarship as an achievement. He should be making laws and checking the excesses of the executive. Period. Why should a house of reps member mount the podium and say he bought keke or taxis for his pple, in return he should be voted for. They are lawmakers/oversight on the executive. Nothing more. Same applies to a senator. If you give scholarship keep it to urself. It's not a yardstick for pples votes. Why should a gov act like an emperor when the reverse should be the case. Why should (ex) militants take up sensitive positions when more qualified and law abiding citizens abound. What message is such arrangement sending to those who believe in the rule of law. What do u think will happen to the psyche of those still bearing arms. See what I mean. The problem is me and u. Till that day when we stop singing praises of these thieves and murderers. Till that day when we see thru their lies. Till that day when we ask them to be accountable. Till that day when we conduct party primaries like humans and not goats. Till that day when we disabuse our minds. Till that day when we can resist rogue politicians and not military and militants (if we get the politicians in line others will follow). Till that day when we are able to tell the so called leaders, that political office is not a highway to riches but service to the pple. We will continue to remain in this vicious cycle where only a few (the politicians and their militants) benefit. Political office holders will continue to cause trouble because of what they stand to gain. If the environment is peaceful it will not only expose their incompetence but drastically reduce their security votes. A peaceful environment will open the eyes of the pple to how they are being governed. Peace is what our politicians detest. They come into power without a clear cut vision. They rig their way to power thru me and you, yet you still hear pple shouting 'we will resist this we will resist that. Until we do a reset on our brains and channel the energy, hatred, zeal, vigour and enthusiasm towards good governance I tell you we are running on the same spot. Let's leave it here for now. 1 Like |

There was so much violence during the last General elections. Till date nobody has been questioned or arrested. The perpetrators are emboldened by the inaction of both the state and federal govts while the victims on the other hand have obviously refused to be on the receiving end as it was bfor. yawa everywhere you turn. |

[quote author=ChokolateBoss post=43900841]Smh. This is why I hate naija partisan politics. Sanitizer kor! Imagine where Ebola itself wan sanitize person. Southern states are cursed with their governors [/quotpe] It's not a southern thing. It's same all over. That is Nigeria politicians for u. Stealing of public funds is normal in naija politics. For you to appreciate where ayiri is coming from you get to study the trend very well. Tompolo installed Okowa for instance. Same Tompolo wanted for fraud. Ibori made ayiri thru the looting of delta funds. Do the maths and you will understand their point. |

bejeiodus: Your fears are genuine. I tell you if you bring the American system here our politicians will subvert it. You can not expect much from a system that rewards thieves, violent pple (militants, armed robbers, kidnappers etc), liars, dangerous propagandists, and even cultists. A system where a supposed royal father goes on air to congratulate a politician and say we support you. Not minding his subjects loyal to other parties. We can go on and on. Lastly, lemme say this about river state in particular. I know some pple will hate me for this but I will say it. The law faculty is RSUST is partly to be blamed for what is playing out in rivers state. Most of the so called politicians and judicial workers passed thru this place. They call themselves lawyers, magistrates and judges. Many of them are shallow and they have brought that depth to the politics of the state. I am yet to meet a sound lawyer/politician from RSUST who can stand tall without being brutish and ethnocentric Pls this has nothing to do with the gov, I am looking at rivers state from 1999 or so. My humble submission. If you must counter me do so with facts . You can even mention names of some of the pple you know. No insult intended just my lil observation. |

viviangist: You strike me like a fake. When did the protest start? when and how did they assemble materials, i.e cardboard, makers, humans from dffrnt wards etc on a day when movement is suppose to be restricted and shops closed. You posted this at noon today but ddnt include pictures of empty inec booths. It's possible these pple do not have voter's cards. Trust our bloggers, they would have sampled the cards here. Lastly OP, where is the pix of the fake result sheets and how did they come to this conclusion. Do they have the original sample. Remember inec said that results sheets is not for general inspection. |

TonyeBarcanista: You have said it all bro. I wish the youths can see thru the veil. The politicians have deliberately caused hardship and deprivation to the point were pple now reason like goats. The vicious cycle continues after the election. As usual the victims and perpetrators of violence will be abandoned till they are needed for another dirty job and paid peanuts. 1 Like 1 Share |

Fedayeen: I believe in saying it the way it is. Same Amaechi sanitized the state bfor mbu came. Same Amaechi refused to play ball with the militants to the extent he drove most of them away from rivers. But today more than half of the house of assembly guys pdp presented are militants. Today many of the caretaker committee chairmen are militants. Forget about the "ex" they use to address them. A goat will remain a goat no matter what. If u know the history of rivers state very well you will agree that the insecurity came back to the state hen the militants returned back to their trade thru the help of wike, mbu and pej/gej. If you live in rivers state you will easily come to the truth politics aside. The insecurity in river state in a direct reflection of our value system. When you have the likes of Fatah dagogo and his co militants in the house of assemble and egberipapa as local govt chairman what do u expect. Pls look carefully you will see the root cause of the problem. Not Amaechi. You may not like him but he tried his best as gov. |

Pdp should sit down. The pictures do not add up. Our politicians are our problems. Pple that should be in jail are busy running for elective positions. Useless animals. Both the APC and pdp are guilty of this. They are all useless and selfish idiots. |
![]() |
Tunami: But you have just behaved like a very gullible person. Where is the stack of cash? Why will Amaechi personally supervise cash transportation? Is the pdp saying they have not giving money to pple for this election? All the monies pdp guys shared to women groups, unscrupulous youth organisations and even mad men with voter cards at Woji, borikiri, elakahia and mile3 yesterday fell from the skies I guess. As at 10pm last night serious argument and shoving was still on at the pdp sharing centre at model primary Sch gate Woji. So who is more gullible? |
![]() |
joeprince23: Does that suggest that the reason pdp gave is the truth. Are they not the same soldiers the pdp got an injunction against. So why turn around to say they we're carrying electoral materials. |
![]() |
mineANDurs: My dear, it boils down to who brought him to this realization. You may not fully exonerate the women just yet. But who,h ever way they should behave like adults and play safe. For me there's always a tomoro. |
