Not until I started posting stories here myself, I used to believe that most stories on NL are just mere fiction. Read this again : Am an HND holder with two professional qualifications. On like most I was able to get a job say few months after NYSC to one multi- national company. To be candid my pay is a little bit ok. NL this is why I said this world is not a perfect world where one can rejoice. After 6 months of employment my HR called me personally to in4 me that am in a department, where it would be so hard for me to raise up to managerial level considering my age. Actualy, am a technical man in the security department of the company. 4rm our discusion am made to undestand that I can't go far becos the company would always recon with those with security background like Navy, police etc. NL this is where u are invited believing that ur contribution would go a long way to form my decision. If I should remain in this company say 10-15 yrs. the highest I can go is supervisor definately with pay increase. Is anyone not thinking that all my working yrs might be a waste becos i may not be relevant outside the company and my mate becomin manager in the company? B4 it would become late, should I bone career & follow the trend.

I work in a company that runs two shifts of operation. In each of the shift is always two people that are espected to work together to accomplish a task.This is where am going. My colleaque is always sleeping on duty both day & night. I end up doing more than necessary. I used to cautioned him but all my efforts seems to be proving abortive.
