Use outbound links, to high authority websites, then build lots of Backlink to that page, however, as a new Blog, build Backlink carefully.

Do this for your post, at least build links in 2 days intervals.

Also, write as much as possible using the above method, then google begins to respect your blog and you get chances to rank in bigger keywords.

First know your competitors, then use pro tools, to find out the Keyword your competitors are ranking in.

Then look for they keyword they are ranking with low difficulty level.

Replicate the contents, 2X the word count, get Backlink to the page, then watch it grow.

Do the same for every competitors you have at least, those doing well on search engines.

This will skyrocket your ranking.
Don't run after keywords with high difficulty level.

NOTE: No SEO factor works on it own, your content remains the key factor, your inbound-outboundlinks, avoid keyword spamming in your content, and make sure to use good title to increase your CTR and avoid bounce back rate(this in my opinion, doesn't seem to affect SEO but the, it's ideal to be on the safe part.)
