@ Wale, I am from Edo state and I live in benin, so yes I kn wat am talkin abt. @ ur analysis abt GEJ, my point exactly, this will be his 5th year as a president. If in all these while, he hasn't figured out what his problems are, those he should keep, and do away with, or probably caution, do u in all honesty tink he wld do beta if given a second chance? Learning from history, has there been any president or governor within or outside Nigeria, whose second tenure in office was "better" than the first? (in all aspect, and I don't mean an improvement of the 1st, I mean wen put on a scale, a total outdoing of the previous) You know why? Because POWER CORRUPTS If for six years, all he has for Nigerians are "good intentions" (dats 2years left to complete 2 tenures) when do you honestly tink these intentions be realised ![]() ![]() |
It surprises me, how many a times u hear politicians say word like, I need to complete this or that, please vote for me for a second tenure ......... I mean when u were vying for the position, did u not realise it would be for just four years? So why didn't you set machineries in place that would see your plans (that's if you have any) become reality within that four years u were given. I keep saying it. Whatever you cannot do in 4 years, you can't do in 8years. I would like to buttress my points with examples. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo would have been referred to as a messiah in Nigeria if only he had left after his first 4years. People willing went to the polls 2 vote for OBJ when he contested the second time because of what he did in his first tenure. He completely changed the lives (standard of living) of millions of Nigerians especially the civil servants. His second tenure obviously was a total flop and almost nothing to write home about. Adams Aliyu Oshiomole. This man was nominated for the award as the best performing governor of the year during his 1st tenure. He rehabilitated a lot of roads, built schools, gave the capital of Edo state a face lift. Yes his impact was felt by even the blind. Of course like all the others before him his second tenure so far has been more than horrible. No new achievement has been made by him (close to 2years in the office) instead it has been hardship upon the indigenes. From telling a widow to "go and die" an action that cost him a great deal, to relieving from duty close to 900 teachers (that's an alarming number especially in a country were unemployment is on a geometric increase. Worse was the fact that he did it during the yuletide season, refused to pay these teachers their salaries after making them work till on the 20th of that month, as though that was not enough sacked some teacher who were due for retirement this year 2014. I mean what can be worse than that? After serving for over 35years to be relieved of duty just because the governor thinks " you shouldn't have your primary six certificate before u are 9years old." Someone who couldn't produce his own certificate, a case that had 2 be struck out at the supreme court, and not because he had evidence to back his claims!!!! And the list goes on and on. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan would be clocking six years as Nigeria's president come 2015. (He was fighting for a one tenure of 6years, and this faith has given to him on a plater of gold) If after six years this is how far he can take the nation (knowing fully well, he stands a higher chance to be re-elected by the masses if he performs well) and he is performing like this, then one wonders what his government will be like when he comes back for second tenure. Probably one of the reasons Nelson Mandela did so well, was the fact that he didn't allow himself to be consumed by power. N.B: No matter how good a leader is, let us stop encouraging them to make these seats of power their home. |
I read dis piece cos of my younger bro, who went 2 d church just once, bt wldnt allow us rest, it evn caused little issue @ hom. He calls it "my church" |
Topics like this shld make fp. So Nigerians can really be proud of their heritage. Am not igbo, bt I must confess I felt proud readin it. |
Yea. The year God gave us Purity ![]() Merry christmas to you too. Pray I have cause to write a letter like dis come 2014 |
Yezedo come and see some1 trying to kiss ur Rita oooo |
NnamdiN: Fine couple. till 2019Wow really? Thank God you said "fine" and not "first" So you mean they will be breaking up by 2019 NA YOU TALK AM ooooo |
Acidosis: With this mindset, Nigeria will never move forward in 100,000 years to come. With your own mind set Nigeria is doomed for life. Don't make me insult you. U discredit OBJ's letter to Jonathan simply because of his character, (something that to you has been corrobrated by his very daughter) not considering the truth behind the allegations Yet you believe this same girl against her father WHY? Is she of a beta character Did her father start beating her mother ystd? When he helped her bcom senator why didn't she remember what he did? Hw he mis treated them, why didn't she reject all this then, from commissioner to senator 2 minister Show me one meaninful contribution that she made in all her 8 years of political power. There's nothing political (dat wld benefit us) that she said there, that d ordinary Nigerian doesn't kn. Every other tin is a family issue. Na pple get papa and mama dem neva still chop u see u snd u go abroad 4 masters (abi den u tink dis mony was beans) na my papa no go? I am not supporting OBJ, GEJ nor IYABO Bt if iyabo's letter is worth a second look, then OBJ's own most definitely deserves a reply. |

Very soon Naija will start doin dis. |
And to tink that this position comes with an official car, a driver and other personal staffs. + as a direct access to the governor now. Cheiiii, if somebody had told her that the way she ended Nov is not the say way she wld celebrate christmas, she wld have said how can this be possible!!! Baba God I still believe it, that which you have said concerning me, even before the last day of 2013, it must surely come to pass as you have said. In Jesus name. Amennnnnn |
I kn a lot of persons will condemn this act because I also feel like he's taking it a little overboard. BUT looking @ it from another perspective, When God says its your time to shine, nothing can stop you. Ps 121:1 "it shall be like a dream, when the Lord shall turn again the capivity of Isreal (Mrs Ifijen)" It reminds me of the story of Joseph, from prison to the palace. In one night He was released from prison Given royal robes n ring meant only for princes Given a job, as custodian of all the food shops in a country (Egpyt) Given a POLITICAL position (prime minister) an office that didn't exist b4. ALL IN ONE DAY Who said God is not able to also change your story. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. You can rain abuses on Oshiomole, agree with him, or even dislike him, but the truth is OSHIOMOLE IS THE PHAROAH SENT TO CHANGE THE LIFE OF MRS IFIJEH (Joseph) Papa God send me my own Pharoah in Jesus name o. Amen |
Oshiomole is a widower the woman is a widow Hummmmmm Do u smell what I smell. FATE O Lord use any means you deem fit to bless me. Amen |
Op hope I did u a favour posting it this way it can mak front page ![]() |
Surprisingly, our client’s aforestated line was blocked again after he left your said Abuja office. Once again our client visited your office at the local wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Ikeja, Lagos to lodge a complaint, but painfully, nothing was done about it. However, after sometime, our client was invited for a meeting at your head office in Lagos on the 14th of November, 2013 which he duly honoured. Present at the meeting (in addition to the officials of your organization) was Mr. Mobolaji Okusaga, the Managing Director of The Quadrant Company, in his capacity as media agents/managers for Etisalat Nigeria. At the end of the meeting, our client was told for the umpteenth time that they would get back to him, which they again failed to do. LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES It cannot be over emphasized that your actions of unlawfully blocking and/or swapping our client’s line occasioned loss of business opportunities to him. As you are aware, our client as one of the most sought after Nigerian entertainers needs his phone line to be easily accessible to keep his business going. It therefore goes without saying that our client has lost some business opportunities as a result of your actions. TAKE NOTICE that we have our client’s firm instruction to demand and hereby demand the sum of N100,000,000.00 (One Hundred Million Naira) as compensation for the loss of business opportunities and the inconvenience caused our client by reason of your unlawful and unjustified blocking and/or swapping of our client’s Etisalat GSM phone line. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that in the event that you fail, refuse or neglect to accede to our above stated demand within seven (7) days from the receipt of this letter, we shall be compelled to set in motion against you, all legal machineries necessary to obtain legal remedy for our client. Thank you. Yours sincerely, FESTUS KEYAMO, ESQ. Head of Chambers Julius Agwu confirmed to Daily Times that he’s indeed aggrieved by Etisalat’s move to swap his line without getting in touch with him. He explained that the line was already registered and that despite promises by Etisalat to rectify the fault and taking pains to meet with them, his line is still yet to be unblocked. |

The show has finally come to an end, with awards and prizes presented to the contestants. The show has truly proven to be a pace setter for other shows. What thrills me the most is the fact that everyone who participates in the show is a winner. The fans edition had 12 contestants searching for the key to the Mitsubishi pagero from CFAO motors. Each contestants went home with #100.000 and a tablet, with the winner Kala Kalu going home with the prize. The contestants where giving their prizes according to their stay in the jungle. Ema #1,000,000 Peter #1,100,000 Mary #1,200,000 Halima #1,300,000 Martha #1,450,000 Tony #1,450,000. (Martha and Tony left together) Kunle #1,600,000 Tracy #1,700,000 Bobby #1,800,000 Eddy #2,750,000 Ifunaya #2,750,000 + #1,000,000 (as last girl standing) Dennis #10,000,000. (The Ultimate Hero) They also received #500,000 each from the governor of Akwa Ibom state as their transport money. 18carat gold necklace with pendant (GUS emblem) was also given to each contestant. Gulder is truly the ULTIMATE |
