TenQ:You still haven't answered the central question. Jesus said Moses permitted divorce because of hardness of heart (Matthew 19:8 ). He never said not God. That part is your addition, so show the verse. In Mark 10:5 Jesus says Moses wrote that precept, and in Mark 7:10 and Matthew 15:4 he treats Moses said and God commanded as the same thing. Now follow your claim through. If the divorce law in Deut 24:1-4 is Moses' and not God's, then the abomination in 24:4 is Moses' verdict too, and Islam cannot be promoting what God abhors. If it is God's, your God wrote a rule He did not intend. Which verse draws the line? On morality, apply the principle I stated: a rule is unjust when it restricts freedom, dignity or a lawful future because of another person's act. 2:230 restricts reunion with the first husband and does not bar her from marrying another man. Your rule 3, that marrying a divorced person is adultery, restricts every marriage she could make, and the rash husband's innocent wife stays bound to him with no ground. That rule is yours. On hadith, reports are judged one by one, so name the one you think is weak and give your evidence. Readers can judge who answered and who repeated conclusions |
TenQ:I accept that Deut 24:4 and 2:230 give different rules. Whether that proves a different source is another matter, and your own Jesus post answers it. You say Moses permitted divorce because of hard hearts and that it was not God's plan, and Matthew 19:8 says the same. So you hold that one God gave Moses a concession and Jesus the original, and those two rules differ. If a difference of rules proves a different source, Moses and Jesus have different sources, and you have disproved your own Bible. If it does not, your claim is gone. Second, Deut 24:4 sits inside Deut 24:1-4, the law you call a concession, so you cannot treat it as God's pure verdict on what He finds abominable. In Matthew 19 Jesus never cites it, he goes back to Genesis. Third, your church says Jesus fulfilled and superseded Moses, and Muslims say the Qur'an does the same to earlier scripture. Identical structure cannot be doctrine in one case and fraud in the other. Finally, no text orders the divorced woman to marry anyone, and orgasm is not in the report, only consummation, while your rule 3 binds the rash husband's wife to him for life. Name one hadith you consider weak, and the moral principle you judge by. |
TenQ:Did you ask yourself these questions first and not find answers? Nothing here is denied. The central report concerning the requirement of consummation appears in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, and Muslim scholars have discussed its implications openly for centuries. Quoting a report from a Sunan collection does not establish that a report in a Sahih collection is fabricated. Each narration must be assessed on its own chain of transmission and grading. The point is clear that a mere marriage contract is insufficient. The second marriage must be consummated before the woman can lawfully return to her first husband, if the second marriage subsequently ends and the relevant conditions are met. Qur'an 2:230 restricts the first husband. After a third divorce, he can no longer take his former wife back at will. The verse does not compel her to return to him or authorize him to arrange her next marriage. Any eventual reunion depends on both parties believing they can observe Allah's limits. Nor does this rule endorse a loophole. The hadith tradition condemns the muhallil and the man for whom he acts (Abu Dawud 2076; also reported in al-Tirmidhi, with differences in the chains and gradings of individual narrations). Classical jurists disagree over whether a marriage contracted for tahlil is void or legally valid but sinful. That disagreement does not mean deliberate circumvention is approved by the hadith tradition. The rule has consequences for the woman too, and the texts do not establish that pressure on women never occurs in practice. The point is that the verse does not authorize anyone to compel her to marry another man or return to her former husband. The marriage institution is no joke and neither is divorce. Deuteronomy 24:1–4 prohibits a first husband from taking his former wife back after she has married another man and that marriage has ended. Matthew 19:9 restricts divorce and remarriage, subject to an exception interpreted differently across Christian traditions. These rules are not identical to Qur'an 2:230, but they demonstrate that restrictions on divorce and remarriage are not unique to Islam. If you believe a particular hadith is inauthentic, identify it and provide evidence concerning its chain and grading. If you believe the rule is unjust, explain the moral principle on which you base that judgment. Calling believers flies or 419 answers neither question. Criticize the texts, challenge the reasoning, and present your evidence. But ridicule is not a substitute for argument. The jest you have made here for years should have shown you that except whatever pleasure you derive in it. |
TenQ:Your eeya is yours jumping in on my advice to my brother not you. Respecting hadith compilers doesn’t make every narration authentic; that’s precisely why Muslim scholars graded chains and narrators. I’m not declaring embarrassment proof of fabrication rather I’m demanding evidence-based grading. If your case is sound, defend each report’s authenticity, not the compilers’ piety. Advice to you is to do this by yourself for your use hopefully you can free yourself from bias and programming. |

Brother, do not let an enemy of Islam determine what you know about your religion. Paradise, Safiyyah's waiting period, the fabrication of hadiths and Hafs etc. These claims need to be investigated using seriously scholarly and reliable sources, not cherry-picked quotes or emotional arguments. The authentication of a Hadith depends upon critical analysis of the chain of transmission as well as the content; the reputation of a respected compiler or the controversy of a narration does not make it automatically authentic. Hold all claims to the same high standards, ask for proof, and respond with knowledge and dignity. Insults are not needed by truth, nor need faith dread honest scrutiny. Particularly be wary of being drawn into ill intended comedy that may be more consequential than the surface play. |
casualobserver:Sure. I was just reminding the OP of the false euphoria they held to encourage the US intervention. |
CyynthiaKiss:Did the US just not conclude operations in July and pull out? Seems it was a wasted 7-8 months then so they need come back. This is comedy at its' peak |
anonimi:Ribadu himself publicly said Tinubu would face justice over EFCC corruption allegations in 2007, corroborating that the case was serious, not that guilt was proved. Obasanjo’s account adds weight, but neither hostility nor indictment establishes conviction. This is how many years after, has he not been tried at court? Why is Ribadu working with Tinubu now? Did Obasanjo not also accuse Atiku of using the PTDF controversy and the third-term battle to advance his own presidential ambitions, and called him a ‘shameless liar. Even qualifying how much Atiku stole? Tinubu’s record deserves scrutiny; calling him Nigeria’s “worst rogue” requires comparative evidence, not rhetoric. Never new Obasanjo was your persecutor, jury and judge. |
CyynthiaKiss:Nobody is sweeping killings under the carpet, Muslims are among the victims too, so it is insecurity, not a one-religion massacre. And Boko Haram surged and Chibok happened under a Christian president, so a leader's faith is not what ruined Nigeria. Want balance? Fine, but name one thing a Christian-led era fixed that a Muslim-led one cannot. Seems your Trump -America hero has gotten other interests now I am quite unclear where Rev. Dachomo stands lately |
anonimi:Obasanjo's inconsistency should tell you how well to value his comments. |
anonimi:Interesting you put up a YouTube video from 2 years ago to support your statement. Accept the alleged characterisation of Tinubu by Obasanjo and not Atiku your man. Truly controversially interesting. |
LagosOrigin:The beautiful thing about people is whenever a figure is disliked whatever the figure does and doesn't do is severely chastised. only a fool never alters plans as necessitated. |
Amaechi oversaw the federal side, but his from scratch statement is false. Obasanjo endorsed the port in 2002; Tinubu's Lagos laid the free-zone groundwork from 2006, and Lagos holds 20%. By 2012 the EIA was done and China Harbour was on site. Private partners built it (China Harbour 52.5%, Tolaram 22.5%, NPA 5%) on a $630m Chinese loan, finishing in 2022. Buhari commissioned it in 2023. Why is he so fussy about this project without completing the rail in Rivers state which he governed? |
Sheuns:I wasn't faulting your observation about your location only pointing it wasn't the same everywhere. |
Pareidolia is the brain's habit of seeing familiar patterns, especially faces and hands, in vague stimuli, like faces in clouds. A 3D ultrasound renders echoes as smooth grey surfaces, so a cord loop or fluid pocket beside a fetal head can look like fingers, and once someone says "hand," everyone sees it. Mid-pregnancy scans also throw false alarms from fetal position, shadowing and operator error, and small heart septal defects often close on their own, so a flagged abnormality that's gone later is a common pattern. None of this disproves a miracle, but it means neither image counts as evidence for one. |
Sheuns:And it is has reduced in some hasn't it? |
seunowa:Certain fundamental questions. He is an anti-israeli sentimentalist and a misogynistic, aren't there crucial assesment before employing pilots? The coincidence with him flying this plane on this route is very curious, that he is even flying at all is too. |
naptu2:Come on in 100 days only education seems really possible since Lagos already has considerable amount of free tuition and exams, some books in its budget but the housing is too tall an ambition for the time frame or is it policy drafting? |
Kobojunkie:Don't hide behind "Stop lying"; it isn't an argument. Socialism is an economic ideology, not a religion, and only some versions were atheist. Hitler was raised Catholic but turned hostile to Christianity, Mussolini went from Catholic to anti-clerical before reconciling with the Church, Stalin left Orthodoxy for atheist Marxism, and Hirohito was tied to Shinto. Hitler also banned Germany's Social Democrats and Communists. The Mufti did meet him on 28 November 1941, but that was a wartime alliance against Britain and Zionism, not proof Nazism was Islamic. |
dalass:Trump has advocated freedom and safety for Christians, sometimes using religious framing. He and Bibi don't obviously justify killing innocents in God's name, though Bibi has invoked religious and biblical history. Religious extremism isn't unique to Islam. WWI involved Christian-majority powers (Wilhelm II, Nicholas II, Franz Joseph); WWII involved Hitler/Mussolini, plus Stalin and Hirohito. Judge the ideology, not an entire faith. |
Interesting repetition however expert234, I've conceded both narrations, and the road report plainly describes compelled precedence, so criticize it as discriminatory if you like. That's a moral argument I won't dodge. But force him to the narrowest part is not strike him or kill him, and you still haven't quoted a line that says so, as certainly you don't have an inexistent such report. In the greeting incident (Sahih al-Bukhari 6926), a man wished death on the Prophet pbuh, the companions asked whether to kill him, and he said no saying answer wa alaykum. The record contains both a discriminatory rule and a refusal of violence, and you've quoted only one. If your claim is that Islam commands violence against Christians as such, quote the command. Saying it louder isn't a source. expert234: |
expert234:Staying strictly within presentation both narrations exist and there's no dispute of the existence. The greeting rule however covers the Islamic salam, which Muslims are told not to initiate with Jews or Christians. In the earlier reports, some Jews greeted the prophet pbuh with As-Samu Alaikum (Death be upon you); he only answered Wa Alaikum and told Aishah to avoid harsh language. Force him to the narrowest part concerns road precedence, and the wording does not command striking or injury. Criticizing these rules as discriminatory is fair; deriving orders to attack or kill Christians from them is not. It's easy to go with exaggeration but it's wiser otherwise. |
clarocuzioo:You should review the subsidy part as for at least 2 decades before government had wanted to remove it but the fear of cost and effect politically and economically. This was further complicated by petroleum industry laws that enabled it. The PIA was eventually passed under Buhari but he didn't effect it fully regarding PMS. Getting the 'privatised NNPC refinery' to work was thought to bring some relief however the old units and inadequate capacity for present day needs led to insufficient returns thus far. Jonathan quickly buckled however right or wrong though Sanusi, Okonjo Iweala were explaining the rationale as we couldn't really afford it. The absence of a backing law with NLC and national resistance ended that. Previous agreements to share proceeds or savings has had whatever shavings now shared through the 3 tiers of government. The numerous demanding things that daily increase is making the savings less immediately easing living however macroeconomics is growing. Truth be told is the waste of at least 55 years cannot be undone in so short a time. Do you have an example of any nation that has changed it's dynamics from so bad to good very fast? |
statements apparently made for the sake. Isn't there a bill in the house now prescribing life imprisonment for drug offences? Which youths were in the farms that are being returned? Which of his children as youths were in the farms? |
DMO's own records confirm Anambra held ~₦3.03bn domestic and $30.3m external debt as of Dec 2013, near Obi's exit; the most independently verifiable figure. The ₦75bn handover claim was disputed by Obiano's 2015 team, who said real liquid cash was closer to ₦9bn, with ₦106.2bn in contractor debt still owed; but that account comes from a rival administration, not a neutral audit. The ₦2.13bn ecological fund claim remains unchallenged by current officials. Ndubuisipaul1: |
Ojuju1:Afraid not, I am not a medical practitioner myself and left medical administration pretty long ago however getting the tests done will give you good footing to see a specialist. Do the test and try out federal medical centres as a start, general hospitals may take long. The very best wishes and try to self condition against worry. A little nutmeg, magnesium supplements at night with conscious effort to sleep should help. |
Ojuju1:I wish the short cut was the way. This ain't something you will get the best through general social space conversation. A systematic neurological and metabolic assessment should be more useful than repeatedly treating symptoms like ulcer or assuming they are caused by something supernatural. Nerve conduction test, B12, folate tests and quite a few others. Ulcer won't be cured if underlying causes aren't addressed. |
He is in construction with cement already, food with salt, sugar, pasta and however true tomato processing and ginger export. OZIOGU1: |
Kemical23:It's really something the way he makes statements centred around people's chronic health challenges. I see no empathy or sympathy in him because of this. |
By the time you realise government is not there to solve the problem but government is the problem. They both have their relatively correct stand. Atiku may be leveraging on the existence of an existing largely indigenously owned private refinery that works. Either way should show the process actual and opportunity costs. |
BATified2023:The different versions of this same story in media space this few days is quite amusing. I hope it doesn't align too well with counting chickens before the eggs hatch. |
GeneralOuki:A few points though. Borrowing was due to shortfall in revenue mainly from crude oil which had dropped by 50%. Note crude makes at least 70% of revenue earnings. Than there's a constitutional provision to spend up to 50% of the previous year's budget before it is passed so the reason you give isn't correct more so the borrowing came after the budget was approved. Kindly show otherwise. Then all the hullabaloo about $30 billion debt relief isn't absolutely right. As $18 billion was written off while we paid 12. Nigeria owed a total of $35.994 billion, and the Paris Club creditors announced on June 29, 2005 a debt relief package of about $18 billion out of roughly $30.84 billion owed. |

and showing who's the boss. The other Omani however is trying to do a terror attack as requested to enter jannah in the name of Allah by killing Jews
