Senior representatives of exactly who in the German federal government? Proficient writing of grandeur.
Real meetings with actual representatives of Nigeria took place in March 23 and June 10 2026 with Dr. Jumoke Oduwole of the ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment named. Is this a privately held copy of such meetings or what?
You should do better than showy nairaland online posts. Send physical messages to them or seek their emirate websites. Hopefully there's more than media euphoria about the christened genocide by then. There are likely other players.
Thank you for openly agreeing the components of the Shahada stated in different verses. These are combined as one statement or testimony. Did Jesus tell everything to be told in one place and one statement? No. Did the Torah come as one statement? No. Despite all sharing the single most important truth that there's only one God regardless of how you interpret or misinterpret that.
Gabrielshow26: While the shahada constitutes these two elements, the whole thing can't be found in the Quran. It can be found in the Hadiths, furthermore in the Hadiths we find different variations. There is a variation as well that includes belief in Jesus among other things that must be affirmed alongside Allah being one. So, your appeal just highlights that Allah, an eternal omniscient being, didn't envisage the Shahada but it was an human tradition that came 200years after.
In summary, the shahada among other things can't be found in the Quran. This is just to highlight that the Quran's claims of being complete and a detailed explanation of all things is completely false. Thus, if you uphold such beliefs which are found exclusively in the Hadith then you render the Quran insufficient 🥱!
Basically, Allah lied and the Quran was man made. 😔
Ohyoudidnt: The Shahadah literally means the testimony or the witness and is found in the Qur’an in two separate parts: 1. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah: Qur’an 3:18 and 47:19 2. Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah: Qur’ān 48:29 The Prophet pbuh then combined both statements into the full Shahadah in authentic hadith, including Sahih al-Bukhari 8 and Sahih Muslim 16. Following what the Qur’an commands believers to follow the Messenger pbuh (4:80, 59:7), the full Shahadah is established through both the Qur’an and the Sunnah; testimony/witness that Allah is one and prophet Muhammad pbuh is his messenger.
BlackfireX: So as old as you are you can't use your brain?
So where is Shahada in that statement?
Lai ilah ilah lah Muhammad rosullulai There is no god but the God and Muhammed is his messenger.
Hope you don't have severe brain problem--- where is that statement in that verse?
Stop insulting yourself
Is there no testimony in the verses? The statement of truth in the verses mentioned. Quran 3:18 Allah ˹Himself˺ is a Witness that there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—and so are the angels and people of knowledge. He is the Maintainer of justice. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Almighty, All-Wise.
Quran 47:19 So, know ˹well, O Prophet,˺ that there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Allah. And seek forgiveness for your shortcomings1 and for ˹the sins of˺ the believing men and women. For Allah ˹fully˺ knows your movements and places of rest ˹O people˺.
Quran 48:29 Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah. And those with him are firm with the disbelievers and compassionate with one another. You see them bowing and prostrating ˹in prayer˺, seeking Allah’s bounty and pleasure. The sign ˹of brightness can be seen˺ on their faces from the trace of prostrating ˹in prayer˺. This is their description in the Torah. And their parable in the Gospel is that of a seed that sprouts its ˹tiny˺ branches, making it strong. Then it becomes thick, standing firmly on its stem, to the delight of the planters4—in this way Allah makes the believers a source of dismay for the disbelievers.5 To those of them who believe and do good, Allah has promised forgiveness and a great reward.
Contribution from the forum regarding this explanation is humbly requested and welcome to ascertain that what constitutes the he testimony called Shahada is not mentioned in these verses.
The forum can clearly see who the monkey is. Take that back, a monkey has much better intelligence and brilliance. Are 48 and 47 the same even if neighbours? Maybe a typo but the text entered show otherwise.
Blindness may be bad but it's far worse when unreasonable bias and hatred affects the sense of sight and rational thought. Indeed we see how some so called educated illiterate Nigerians or safer people (Nigerians aren't this way) display gross incompetence.
14. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
15. Those who remained behind will say when you set out toward the war booty to take it, "Let us follow you." They wish to change the words of Allah. Say, "Never will you follow us. Thus did Allah say before." So they will say, "Rather, you envy us." But [in fact] they understood not except a little.
16. Say to those who remained behind of the bedouins, "You will be called to [face] a people of great military might; you may fight them, or they will submit. Then if you obey, Allah will give you a good reward; but if you turn away as you turned away before, He will punish you with a painful punishment."
17. There is not upon the blind any guilt or upon the lame any guilt or upon the ill any guilt [for remaining behind]. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, He will admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow; but whoever turns away, He will punish him with a painful punishment.
18. Certainly was Allah pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you, [O Muhammad], under the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquility upon them and rewarded them with an imminent conquest
19. And much war booty which they will take. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. 20. Allah has promised you much booty that you will take and has hastened this for you and withheld the hands of people from you—that it may be a sign for the believers and [that] He may guide you to a straight path.
21. And [He promises] other [victories] that you were [so far] unable to realize which Allah has already encompassed. And ever is Allah over all things competent.
22. And if those who disbelieve had fought you, they would have turned their backs [in flight]. Then they would not find a protector or a helper.
Are you trying to make mokery of yourself? Where is shahada in that verse vs17 and the surrounding verses?
What you see is it not promise of war booty , encouraging jihad, threatening those wo don't belive in Muhammad---- making war treaties.
So you don't even know Quran as old as you are--- how can you go to AI ---- see your life You brought a verse that has nothing to do with shahada rather jihad, war against non Muslims, promise of war booty.
At least you made less of a diversion or mistake here. See the highlighted and emboldened in your post.
BlackfireX: Let's take the verses you provided one after the other
You used Quran 3 vs 18 let's read it in full to see shahada in it
Quran 3:13–20 (Surah Ali 'Imran) 13. Already there has been for you a sign in the two armies which met—one fighting in the cause of Allah and another of disbelievers. They saw them [to be] twice their own number by [their] eyesight. But Allah supports with His victory whom He wills. Indeed in that is a lesson for those of vision.
14. Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire—of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return.
15. Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allah. And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants."
16. Those who say, "Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire,"
17. The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of Allah], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn.
18. Allah witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge—[that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
19. Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them—out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account.
20. So if they argue with you, say, "I have submitted myself to Allah [in Islam], and [so have] those who follow me." And say to those who were given the Scripture and [to] the unlearned, "Have you submitted yourselves?" And if they submit [in Islam], they are rightly guided; but if they turn away—then upon you is only the [duty of] notification. And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants.
The verses before vs 18 is talking about war (vs 13) enjoyment and those whom scriptures were given to ( subsequent verses) then verse 18 there is nothing there from Allah saying this is the first pillar of faith ----infact the next verses are talking about how the people of the book rejected Muhammad.
So where is the Shahadah in this?
And note if you add to Allah's word that is shirk?
You quoted a number of verses except the one I clearly referred to Quran 47:19. Quote this exactly in relation to the answer to your question about the testimony/statement/Shahada?
TenQ: I Understand except that Capacity is measured in terms of 1. Intellectual Capacity which we have 2. Specialty Capacity (Experts in the field) we may have 3. Infrastructural capacity which we mostly lack
I think I reacted like this based on the way you phrased it. The minster had not performed and I think we agree on that. I feel that the President of Nigeria is too powerful for him to fail in this area EXCEPT IF he isn't too Interested
I perfectly agree with you here
Alas:
InfoGuru118: The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu has resigned his position.
Ouch I didn't independently verify Power supply when available lately comes in under 200V
Kalulu44: Honestly, your quotes doesn't correlate with my post. I'm talking about how we as masses are no much different with the politicians we accused of corruption. We as masses are product and reflection of our leaders, but you deviated from the topic and start saying about "who pays the piper dictate the tune" This doesn't correlate nah.
My comment is a reaction to the outcomes that your post has clearly illustrated, where the rich and powerful make the rules, honesty is optional everywhere. This is not an exception, but the inevitable outcome of what you have described. The dishonesty of the referee is precisely why corruption is allowed to flow unchecked from principals, through parents, and all the way to politicians.
Rules are carelessly broken and the one paying the piper dictates the tune. With wealth, status or power the truth of morality is all play. Who's the judge from the household, to institutions, legislation, law and governance?
Many rather believe the lies for a century before using hindsight to consider the truth. Oh oh. I'm in one of those moods
The rules are meaningless if the referee is dishonest. In Nigeria, years of dysfunctional systems have made integrity optional and corruption seem commonplace. Therefore, the true question is were we never really honest in the first place, or did we gradually become this way?
TenQ: Part of the problem of Nigeria is that we NEGLECT our human resources for availability of cash to spend.
Humans repair pipelines, but this is difficult for us because we have not developed our human capacity to do this. We will rather throw money at expatriates to solve the problem. Unfortunately, we are no longer as rich as we used to be, thus this problem becomes major.
The minister of power is just a scapegoat if he is made to resign at the end of the month for the botched promise about power supply. Unfortunately the main person behind the promise is Mr President: will he resign?
The President of Nigeria within Nigeria is next only in power to God. ANYTHING he wants will be done and achieved. The President has many priorities and he has achieved his topmost: unfortunately, the power situation seems not to be part of them. If it is a priority to Mr President, trust me, the problem is long solved!
Seems you get a lot of my meaning but a few things missed or misunderstood.
You will be astonished to know we actually have capacity if you excuse the scarcity of advanced level equipment and inability of the indigenous worker to meet the bureaucratic requirements to handle these projects.
Regardless of the presence or absence of the promises however stated and misunderstood there's no scape goating here. This guy has eyes on gubernatorial power.
The laws governing power in Nigeria are changing but we need better commercial law implementation and efficiency for us to hit reasonable electric power satisfaction. No private individual wants to waste money outside the BIG boys that are governing outside government that currently own all these big power generating stations. 🥴
Kalulu44: I'm not here to exonerate our leaders and politicians for their corrupt and wrongful leadership, but for us to reflex on ourselves. We the citizens and masses pointing fingers at our leaders for being corrupt. Are we not a product and reflection of our leaders. These leaders do not fall from the sky but live and grow up among us. Every corrupt practices of our leaders started from each and everyone of us neighborhoods and communities. . I rmbr years ago when I was in secondary school. Our principal said each and every class from JSS 1 A to whatever alphabet it ended till SSS 3 will have a group photograph that will be kept in her office for reference sake. A photographer was contracted who charged #100 for each group photograph. Our principal beat the price to #50 telling the photographer that it's a bulk photographs that will fetch him more money than just one single photo. The photographer agrees and a day was set when he will come and starts his work. Guess what, our principal and teachers collabo and charge each students #20 each. Just imagine! A class of 30 (And we are above that back then) will be paying #600 for a group photograph of #50. Can you see the corruption? It didn't end there, a friend of mine told me categorically that he told his mum that our principal said we should pay #50 for the photograph and he inturn overheard his mum tell his father it's #100, lolz! You guys can see how the corruption is circulating both from familes to school teachers who's supposed to teach us morals. . Another example which till today still makes me laugh and shook my head was when I was in SS1, the son of our landlord who we are in the same school and set but not in same class, came to me one day and said if his dad should called me to ask of so so something that I should support him and tell his dad same thing he said. I asked him what is it? He said the Biology text book they said we should buy, that he split the name to two and told his father that we are asked to buy BIO, LOGY. His father our landlord being a stark illiterate who made his money from selling building materials gave him money for two text books that's supposed to be one, I shook my head in disbelief. I told him plainly that I don't know if I can support him if his father should call me, he sha begged and begged me. I told him I have heard him, but luckily for him his father never called me. You may say this are isolated cases, but I believe worse are being done that you and I don't know of. . What of our workplaces, the cutting of corners, the bribing, the cheating of clients or ripping off our bosses. Presently I live and work in an environment surrounded by students and other youths who are 80% of them fraudsters or is it yahoo guys you call them. They're not even ashamed or scared to say they're yahoo guys. You hear them nicknaming themselves "agba yahoo" "Yahoo pastor" "omo yahoo" "babalawo yahoo" and many other names. Where they're playing evening football, you see the ones who are not playing but watching discussing about different update and formats and about clients this and that, without caring who's listening or watching. And all this are people who condemn and call politicians names. Tell me if they're giving the opportunity the politicians have, they won't do worse. Cus it's already inbuilt in them. So yes our politicians are bad and corrupt, but majority of us are all a product and reflection of them. Cus if not, I see no reason why a politician who has been indicted and convicted like James Ibori who came back from London prison and was welcome to his state like a hero. . So before you point your fingers at Tinubu, Akpabio, Obi, Ameachi, Atiku, Wike and co for being corrupt. Have you checked yourself very well of having not commit a fraction of what they've done. I rest my case! CJStarz femi4 brain54 ruggedtimi Sonnobax15 Fergie001 Seunmsg Richtaiwo Saleslourd Sccarrr Aleem26 Sonofwar Angelfrost Racoon
if the referee is corrupt rules mean nothing decades of dysfunctional systems in nigeria have turned integrity into an option and corruption into a habit.
The sheer confidence at justifying what is clearly abhorrent actions reflected in all sorts of ways.
Question is where is the truth? Were we a good people that progressively grew bad or the claim to previous honor is the first act of corruption.
Another reflection where a supposedly simple fix is too far cry for Nigeria challenges or opportunities. Even the insufficient gas pipeline isn't adequately managed for faults, vandalism or expected wear. Repeated cycles of no easy fixes to multidimensional problems encompassing corruption, ethnic/religious conflicts, and infrastructure failure
Then the one promising is likely to resign by month end unless...
truthera: I asked you direct questions but you keep evading answering the questions. I am not obligated to reply you any further because you are all about grandstanding with no substance.... What Nuhu Ribadu said and continued shielding of terrorists from prosecution in the name of rehab is enough proof of government complicity as an enabler of Islamic jihadists and terrorism.... Keep grandstanding, pray not to be a victim....
Really now? You didn’t ask questions; rather, you inserted conclusions and referred to that as a debate. When the evidence was examined, everything fell apart. Ajami you hadn’t read, a motto you didn’t investigate, and a clip taken out of context. Leaving now doesn’t alter that reality.
truthera: Funny, people are been killed en mass and government keeps releasing terrorists, you call it mixed up conflicts and policy failures.... You are not serious..... The fact that you initially tried downplay this and keep evading my questions exposes who you are....
Mass killings and policy failures are indeed real issues, but labeling them as evidence of a hidden agenda does not constitute proof. Mistaking correlation for causation does not lend credibility to the claim; the responsibility to substantiate such an agenda lies with you.
truthera: I made slient observations in my last comment as to why Arabic has no place in today's Nigeria but you keep justifying it's use by making historical references.... Nothing stops CBN from removing those Arabic inscriptions on 3 different notes or limiting it to show in just one.... Why continue with British induced colonial symbols? You may not agree over the true motives of keeping these inscriptions on national logos or notes, you are yet to prove me wrong that there is no islamization agenda in Nigeria...
Interesting circus entertainment don't you think? Don't you see your obvious contradiction?
You cannot insist that Arabic be eliminated while simultaneously accepting Latin script English. This reflects a contrast between pre-colonial heritage and colonial imposition. Assertions of having 'no Islamization agenda' are not substantiated by silence; the responsibility to provide proof lies with you.
truthera: Okay but your comments so far no matter how neutral you may try to make it sound continues to expose your true stance in defending the status quo.... You've made your opinon clear based on what you've written so far that you do not agree that there is any islamization agenda in Nigeria. This is why I am asking, what is your take on the government continued release of captured deadly terrorists.... Is that not a glaring evidence of collusion? Is it not obvious that there is an agenda....? You've demonstrated yourself through our previous conversation as been legally sound so as the legal expert here, I believe you know the anti-terrorism laws of Nigeria better than I do.... Does shielding terrorists from prosecution in the name of rehabilitation not a contradiction of such laws? Again, since Nigeria's government has shown itself to be clearly compromised over these illegal practices, when these deadly Islamic Terrorists continue to kill, make clear their message, posting multiple videos online, stating that they are fighting for sharia and Islam, what else does all these mean, if not jihad (Islamizaton agenda).....?
Making your true intention clearly obvious now. How do you mix up separate conflicts and confuse policy failures with a hidden agenda? It's mismanagement, not conspiracy, that accounts for the releases. Most victims are still Muslim, and that reality is clear on its own. Original Boko Haram have killed more Muslims than Christians.
Your false binary is not a question deserving of response.
truthera: Once again, I've replied in the other thread.
This thread discussion as involving me is finished then? This is your abandonment or termination this discussion?
At best I have shown you what you call Islamic Arabic writing is just Arabic rendition of Hausa language known as Ajami; which predates independence and useful to the general northern tradition, the laxity of actual government which doesn't restrict application of sharia within the constitution which enables criminal abuse in criminal law and the actual origin of the army's motto from the colonial era.
truthera: I've replied you in the other thread....
truthera: In my other thread I asked you a simple question "Why is your government pampering, rehabilitating and releasing captured Islamic terrorists?" This question you've continued to evade with your long history epistle that adds no value to the current issue. In everything you've so far that tends to make little sense since you engaged me on my threads has been statement below...
You've clearly acknowledged that sharia overtime has created room for what you called "illegitimate extension" but at the same time you contradict yourself by downplaying the obvious ij your attempt to whitewash Islamization.... Many people have died and many more are been killed by these Islamic jihadists in their bloody conquests while Nigeria's government continues to free the terrorists in the name of "rehabilitation", over 5000 terrorists freed even there are documented reports that these terrorists do no fully undergo any rehabilitation (Read https://pulitzercenter.org/stories/surrendered-terrorists-evade-official-rehabilitation-programme-reinfiltrate-nigerian).... You heard your National Security Adviser Ribadu admitting complicity, telling the whole world how deadly terrorists are his brothers that should be pampered.... I do not know your tribe or religion but one does not need to be learned to see that what is going on goes beyond petty politics but a full blown jihad, ethnic cleansing orchestrated by powerful northern Islamic political forces backed by a compromised puppet federal government.... I will ask you one last time, since you are certain of what you've posted here and my other threads so far that islamization agenda in Nigeria is not real, why has your government continued the practice of pampering, rehabilitating and releasing captured Islamic terrorists? Do you agree with the position of your NSA Nuhu Ribadu? less ↑
Let's correct your primary misunderstanding. I am not the government, an employee or representative of same government.
Answers to your questions about the implementation of government policy can appropriately be addressed by you directing your questions to your elected representative and relevant state institutions. Sad that you regard fair elaboration of the literature you choose to ignore as evasion in long history. Is the history shorter?
You rather misrepresent my statement and position probably that's your actual intention not meaningful discussion. I didn't say anywhere that Sharia created room for illegitimate extension but point you to your government that allow abuse of the constitution as pretence of this system to indirectly accommodate this extension. If you rather engage me than exercise your rights to demand better governance from your government it is futile expression of your efforts.
Asking a private individual to justify government decision and simultaneously attributing those decisions to them is no discussion.

In this video, a fiery cleric breaks down each stage, the reasoning behind the stages, and why many Nigerians need to understand that this revelation resonates deeply with the country's ongoing insecurity.
You realize that the five stages of Islamization is not history, not scholarship, and not truth? It is an American political narrative, popularized after 9/11 and exported as prophecy.
Northern Nigeria’s Islam is over 700 years old, rooted in trade and indigenous states like the Sokoto Caliphate; population growth reflects poverty and low female education, not a coordinated agenda. Sharia courts predated 1999, Zamfara’s expansion was an open electoral promise, and leadership includes Christians so turning every fact into a supposed plot is not insight, it is a persecution tool.

truthera: @Ohyoudidnt I am not surprised as I expected you will go mute to my last question.... Meaning, you know something is wrong but not bold enough to admit that there is a grand Islamization conspiracy in Nigeria....
Until Nigerians like you are ready to let go of tribalism and self-deceit, be bold to confront this uncomfortable truth and begin the decentralization process of either restructuring or dividing the country, these brutal Islamic bloody killings will only get worse.... The "sharianization" of your constitution will continue as you rightly acknowledged that its real when you said....
You call it "illegitimate extension".... I call it unabated Islamic jihadi conquest. The Arabic naira currency notes is just one example out of so many other pointers.... If you are not a fulani, non-muslim or christian, you are an endangered person as long as one Nigeria exists in it's current form.....
Perhaps I delay to allow you express your intellectual capacity for independent research. Your response now however validates your bias and inclination to refuse any facts that go against your preferred bias.
Let me share a truth you rather not find:
In the excerpts of his 1989 autobiography titled Reminiscences, General David Ejoor stated that,
“In the colonial days, the cap badge of the army was a palm tree. This could be interpreted to represent the wealth of the country which the British were to exploit. For that reason, the palm tree had to go. Besides, the Action Group party had a palm tree as its symbol, and it was important that the army and a political party should not have the same symbol. My job was to seek a new meaningful design for the cap badge of the Nigerian Army. I set to work”.
“In seeking a new design, I was anxious that the symbol should reflect the duty of the army and should be capable of inspiring officers and men. As I searched, I remembered the battle between the British and the Sokoto forces in 1903. At that battle, the Sokoto forces had carried the Sultan’s flag with an Arabic inscription on it. That Arabic inscription I learnt meant, “Victory Is From God Alone”. This, I thought was an excellent symbol that had meaning and could inspire. What is more, the British had themselves incorporated the symbol into the regimental colour which the Nigerian Regiment carried on parade. I decided to incorporate the Arabic inscription into the cap badge to represent defence.”
“Next, I searched for a symbol that would depict unity. I found an answer in Lugard’s interlaced triangles which he designed at the amalgamation to represent the coming together of Northern and Southern Nigeria. In choosing this symbol for the Nigerian Army cap badge, I hoped it would remind the Nigerian Soldier that his duty was to defend the unity and integrity of his country. I now had two symbols representing Defence and Unity”.
truthera: Checked sections mentioned, you are right "Sharia" is mentioned, apologies as am no lawyer or well versed on Nigerian laws but reading through these sections seem contradictory, why are there provisions for the establishment of sharia courts in the constitution when judicial frameworks are already covered by existing courts....? Also, since you seem indifferent over naira notes Arabic inscription, what do you've to say regarding the Nigeria Army logo Arabic inscriptions....?
Really no offense taken. There’s nothing contradictory here. The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999) established Sharia Courts of Appeal and Customary Courts of Appeal to accommodate the country’s diverse civil traditions. These courts primarily address personal law and do not serve as a substitute for regular courts.
Also, the presence of Arabic on the Naira or the Nigerian Army crest reflects its historical significance in West African scholarship; it does not indicate a state religion.
truthera: It is obvious from your comment that you may be a lawyer or legal expert.... You know that there is no section of Nigeria's constitution that explicitly states the word "Sharia" yet you some how try to bend a section of the constitution to make it acceptable..... You need to use common sense to understand what is happening.... Nigeria is already a covert Islamic country it will be mainstream soon once enough people are killed and their lands taken.... You ask the question why Obasanjo allowed Sharia... It is the same reason why Arabic inscriptions are on your Naira notes.... It is same reason why Tinubu continues to pamper, rehabilitate and reintegrate Islamic terrorists..... Those you see as leaders are only puppets, sellouts willing to maintain the status quo, the subjugation to advance the jihad bloody conquests of hidden Islamic controllers, power brokers and king makers who believe Nigeria is theirs for the taken.... They will eventually succeed as long as all Southerners, Christians, Traditionalists, Non-Muslims, Non-religious and Atheists do not push for their freedom....
Put in some effort to find and read the relevant sections of the constitution.
The term Sharia is clearly mentioned in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, specifically in sections 260–264 and 275–279. These sections set up the Sharia Courts of Appeal. This is a matter of constitutional fact, not interpretation.
The real legal discussion revolves around certain states extending Sharia into criminal law, which many contend conflicts with Section 10 and fundamental rights. Framing these issues as part of a constitutional dispute that suggests a covert Islamic takeover simply substitutes speculation for law.
