I don't know why its difficult for us to understand that what happened to Kaita could have happened to anybody after all we are all human, at least i remember that even great Zidane was red carded for headbutting an opponent in the chest and he was sent off. So its just unfortunate that it happened to Kaita personally i would have prefered Etuhu to be sent-off instead of Kaita because clearly the midfield suffered his absence and that says a lot about his contribution to the team. We have seen matches where a player will be sent-off and you barely feel the impact not necesarily because the coach did something special but because the sent-off player was not really contributing in the first place. So please Nigerians let us accept his apologies and as someone we may have still lost even if he had not been sent-off, at least its a possibility. The simple truth is that we are not just ready for this competition. |
Mama-gee- you really get it! |
@seadord- i agree with you you need a little bit of luck to win but also you need to work hard with it. The super eagles problem is not just luck but lack of depth from these players. If we were not lucky in our last two games we would have conceeded nothing less that 8-10goals but we were lucky enough to have Enyeama to make those saves. Let me ask how many attempt at goal did we have in these matches? the statistics are there for all to see. Its very simple you cannot score without making attempt and you cannot win without scoring. And talking about Spain yes they lost but you and i know that they have the players that can rise to the challenge in their next game and they play good football but that cannot be said about our eagles. Its really a shame that Nigeria cannot present better players than these bunch, we can do a lot better |
@Seadof-you are right i can't raise football and that is why i am not a footballer but i thank God i strive to be on top of my trade. But i am intelligent enough to know the difference between great players like Zinade, Messi, Ronaldo etc and below average players like the present super eagles bunch. Football sense! |
@mama-gee- I am serious. These bunch of players have low IQ. e.g have you noticed that Taiwo Taye plays freekick this same way? try and error shooting directly into the wall of defence? and he has to thought of trying to do something else. If that's the way Beckham and Ronaldo of this world are playing spot kicks they will not be getting results. its as simple as that. The only player with good IQ in that team is Kanu but his strength will fail him on the field. We need players with brains then the coach's task will be a lot easier. The coach cannot be possibly teaching this grown-ups how to string intelligent passes like Oliseh used to give Yekini. |
Can we name one intelligent player in the eagles line up? None with football sense, there is nobody that you can compare with the likes of Siasia, Okocha, Oliseh etc in terms of brainwork in this team, its all muscle they have got to show. So how do we beat Koreans with these bunch of brainless players? Infact there is need to introduce IQ test to qualify players into super eagles. No coach can do anything these bunch of players |
Though they always ask for 5% but its always negotiable especially when the cost of the property is huge. Good luck! |
Put pictures ! |
Just forget it! That's a fraud. |
Kobomoje - i feel you. Power has to be affordable and not for the rich alone but then people will use according to what they can afford. I see people just assume the income level of majority on Nigerian and forget that millions of Nigerians cannot even afford the smallest generator (i pass my neighbour) which is like N12K-N14K. We should not just use what we see in Lagos to make judgment we need to move around in the night in other towns when there is not electricity supply then we will realise that majority of Nigerians are really poor because of the darkness and inability to afford generators. Also people tend to mention how much they pay abroad for these services abroad but quickly forget that there is a reasonable minmum wage over there. This wage is enough for you to be able to at least pay for bills e.g gas, electricity e.t.c but in Nigeria what is the minmum wage Yes consumers will have to pay more for us to have stable power supply because that will ensure private power company to invest but the cost/KWH has to be reasonable so that the low income earners with normally less KWH consumption will be able to pay |
This is the kind of inside story of what happened in the past that we really need. This should go a long way to correct the impression that people like EzeUche has that Awolowo betrayed Zik and that the west always go with the North. It was clearly revealed that Awolowo used his position to bargain with both NCNC and NPC and not with NPC alone which any reasonable politician will do. Also it was Zik that started negotiating with the North for presidency in 1979 before he was decieved by Unongo/Jim/Mbakwe group to come out of his agreement/alliance with Shagari for whatever reasons. Below is a comment on the story: M A C ODU says: May 15, 2010 at 9:11 am The Boy is Good has just filled in a gap in my perception of our leader Zik. I am grateful for his frank report. I have always believed that great Zik feared Skin Pain and had to sacrifice people to avoid it. That is why he never made it as leader of Nigeria in spite of his preparation by Higher Powers for that role. This story clearly exonerates our neighbours in Nigeria from any blame about our current inability to rise from our gloom to glory in our fatherland after our Biafra War. No one but Ndigbo and their greed for short term gains is to blame for relative doom. We are now saddled with the worst criminals in our history bred by greed. They can only relinquish power when some light points find reins of power. No other process is possible for repair to our battered psyches. The ranks of the greedy are growing geometrically, while the ranks of the light points are growing arithmetically. But Light being superior to darkness, all light points should do is to shine with increasing brilliance and tenacity into the self-destruct darkness that we have so far patronised. Thanks Hon. Mbazulike Amaechi for sharing these facts. You will probably use that Key immediately to unlock the gates of light to free us from the darkness which greed has imposed upon us. May the rest of your life be happier than our own time has provided us. |
Sid, I must be frank with you 24K a year may be good for a Nigerian in Nigeria but for you coming down as Expatriate it is not good enough. I presently work outside Nigeria as an expat and i can tell you you will need more than that to have fun and mix up with expatriate community in Lagos. You need to get a better offer if you want to like it in Nigeria as expat. |
basket mouth- i like your style o jare. I beg help yourself. |
Eze- You again? this hatred/bitterness will not get you anywhere. I will advise you to free your mind and be open. I will also advise you to read extensively the history of Nigeria starting from pre-independence through the first coup (Nzeogwu's), counter coup when Ironsi was killed in Ibadan and the then governor Adekunle Fajuyi decided that he should be killed with him, the civil war and up to after the second republic. This may give you another perspective about other tribes and learn to be more accommodating. Please read widely so as to have different views of different authors that are directly involved. We thought by now Dim would have released his on memoir. |
Re: Ojukwu Backs Babangida For 2011 Polls « #212 on: Today at 07:53:26 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And what ethnicity would this SS person represent? When you say SS do you mean an Ijaw VP? He has to get the support of the East first. And you act as if the SS is one homogenous ethnic group. Sorry to tell you but we Igbo are part of the SS for better or for worse. Eze, Can you explain how Igbos are part of SS? Remember SS is different from Niger delta states |
Eze, It was unfortunate that you lost so many people in that war. But you that had not been born during Biafra will definately be very young during Awolowo's life to conclude he was a tribalist. I beg to disagree with you on this. Anyway nobody is saying you should not love your people but you have to try to be fair to other tribes in your dealings. I know you must have been told a lot of stories about Biafra and even politics of 1st and 2nd republic so i can appreciate where your coming from with your views but you need to do a rethink. |
Eze, It seems to me that you are a core tribalist always attacking other tribes even at the expense of objectivity. Please we need to move beyond this ethnicity stuff. It is ethnicity and religion that the elites are using to manipulate us for their selfish interest. You can imagine what is going on in Ibori's case, its now a case of leave our son alone despite that serious allegations against him. The same happened during Alam's case. All well meaning Nigerians should think about this. |
Does anyone know know lucrative oilpalm plantation business is? |
Is it negotiable? |
Where is Kurudu? is it the same as Kurunduma? Please can we see the pictures? |
Hello Nairalanders- Can someone explain the difference between R of O and C of O with particular emphasis on Abuja properties. Thanks. |
It should not be hard to get 2 bedroom in Badore and Sangotedo for that amount. Please call 08034067838, he should be able to help. |
Na wah for Nigerians o! Somebody seemingly in distress said his budget is N300K-N350K and you are replying to come and pay double? Please look towards Badore or Sangotedo for that budget. |
Thanks Marmaduke. I will definitely involve a lawyer before i part with my dough. |
Hello Lawyer, Thank you very much for your time and a prompt response too. Can i please have your private e-mail address so that we can discuss more? |
Hello lawyer, If one is buying land in Northen Foreshore please How can one do proper check on the said property? |
epetedo, let me have your phone number. |
Epetedo, Please let me have your number. I sent you a mail about 3 days ago. Where is your plot i.e. plot Bleep block XXXX? |
Thanks. I will call him. |
Its Northern Foreshore that i really want and i have 3 offers for N25m, N26M and N28M but these offers are from agents not the real owner and i am very scared of dealing with agents and not the owner. I was even hoping that i will see a Mobil staff owner to give me confidence to part with my money. How much is the plot in The View? |
OK i will await the feedback as i will not be able to raise N32m. The View is another estate i guess? |
You sure you can do it for less than that N32M? |
