So my school just sent a mail today, that I should submit statement and TB test tomorrow for me to get cas by 30th April . School resumes 24 may... I can’t even book TB test on the link for tomorrow, next available date is 24th may

What can I do?

Go and gate crash at IOM and if possible, print out the mail to show them, hopefully you might be attended to.

Okay I understand you!
Thanks for your response.
But if I return the money back to the account, do I need to print the statement again? Or just continue with the visa application with the statement already approved by the school before giving CAS. Since there is still about 10 - 15 days for the 31 days rule before visa application.

You might use the same statement and do priority(a week) application process.

Will help you out on this

First if his girlfriend is from Africa then he got more advantage than white girls cos immigration normally thinks that we wants to marry their girls for citizenship but that should not discourage him to proceed if he knows the relationship is genuine and he had a lot supporting documents. Back to your questions.

1. I think he can visit Australia with Tourist if he has enough supporting documents or prove that he will return back or his girlfriend can visit Nigeria or they can meet in Dubai. Immigration will love to see meetings together/ evidence of relationships in the future when applying for partner visa (Subclass 820) to come here

Good Luck

Thank you for your response. I have spoken to him, and he said she would come to Nigeria, then after about 3 or 4months later they would also meet in Dubai then later do a visit to somewhere cheap again before they eventually get married because the relationship is a genuine one as both of them are of same age.

1. What are the likely documents they need to prove genuine relationship.

2. After the above trips, what kind of visa do you feel he should apply for first, visit or spousal.

3. What is the likely length of time before decision is made on spousal visa or visit visa

Thank

Immigration will love to see meetings together/ evidence of relationships in the future when applying for partner visa (Subclass 820) to come here

2. Marriage can take place anywhere but what really matters is your supporting documents/ prove of genuine relationship. My advice meet in Nigeria get enough supporting documents before thinking of marriage don’t cos it does not guarantee you visa if you don’t have enough supporting documents cos with marriage if you have enough proof and supporting documents that you in s genuine relationship you can get a partnership visa to come here.

3. I won’t advice go to apply for tourist visa while waiting for partnership visa to be decided the immigration might look it like desperation to come here and if they refuse you it might have disadvantage on your partnership visa application so what you need is patience, meet in other countries or if she can come to Nigeria and she ok then fine

4. She can visit Nigeria embassy in Canberra for more information and also you will give her supporting documents to submit before they grant her visa, my advice again both of you can meet in another country easy

5. There no option here the truth is get all original documents and enough documents of a continue genuine relationship, proof of communication and proof that you doing well in Nigeria as you not marrying her to come here. There some cheap countries you can meet like 2-3 times before applying and lastly be patient and get enough documents for your application

Good Luck

Thank you for the advice, I will relate same to him. They both agreed she's gonna come to Nigeria first. I would advice him to also meet in Dubai after the visit to Nigeria as you adviced to be able to convince the VO that the relationship is actually a genuine one.

Good day everyone, I want to enquire for a friend. His Australian girlfriend wants him to come over for marriage, though the girlfriend is willing to come to Nigeria first for a visit.

1. What category of visa do you think he would need to visit Australia

2. What do you think it's best, should the marriage take place here in Nigeria or Australia.

3.Can he apply for Partner visa while on tourist stream visa in Australia if the marriage is held here in Nigeria.

4. What documents would he need to apply for the visa.

5.With the conditions stated above, what other options do you suggest?

I look forward to your response seniors in the house.

Thank you for the response. But I actually have NECO, my question is
1. Am I sending them a photocopy as they said one shouldn't send original certificate?
2. What means am I suppose to send the NECO, can I make my school attach it with my transcript? Or what method can I use in sending?

1. Use hellofax to fax copy of your Master certificate

2. Read page one to get how to go about the NECO, school can not attach it with transcript beside, WES won't accept it, it has to be sent separately.

Hello all
Please can anyone assist with the timelines for WES ECA?

I commenced my ECA process early in January; as at 11 February, WES had received all my documents (University transcript and WAEC requirements) and updated my status to "Your evaluation is in progress. You are not required to do anything at this time." It has now been this way for 11 days. I understand that WES will send my documents back to my school for verification. Please what status should I expect to see when WES sends to my school? Is it normal to take over 11 days after initially receiving my transcripts for my status to change?

I need to know when WES sends the credentials to my school so I can start following up with my contact there.
Thanks

Dont worry, WES will send you an email when they send the verification out.

Same thing happened to me, I didn't want anyone in my office to know so I told HR that I need a reference letter for an international program that I applied for and I specified the information I wanted them to include in the letter. I also told them to address it 'To whom it may concern'.
Unless your HR are aproko people, they shouldn't ask you for additional info.

Imagine when your Boss's wife is the HRM, what should one do in such case.
