My sister got her visa today, on her application form she filled NO for the question if she would be going with her family. Her family intends to join her a month after she goes. Now she wants to apply for them, her agent told her she can not that it's a new rule that she has to enrol first before they can apply.

Is this true? because I did the same thing with my spouse and got my visa.

We plan to leave the kids in 8ja for now till January as well. My wife (dependants) will be applying for her visa next week do we need to write a cover letter for the reason for our kids not going with us and where they will be staying? Did u write write anything of such because during my applications I already wrote that I got three kids.

I didn't write any reason or who they would be staying with.

If you had the kids with your wife, let her also state the 3kids in her application and include their birth certificate for record purpose.

You can actually leave them and come back for them before you finish your course. Anything could have caused it for you not to go with them at the moment. I and my spouse are leaving our kids and we have gotten our visa. So go ahead with your plan.

Just to add, General rule of thumb when booking flights... Tuesdays and Wednesday are days you would find the cheapest tickets while Fridays and Sundays tend to be very expensive days to fly, Mondays and Thursdays follow closely on next cheap days

Its the same with main applicant timeline. 15 working days or you can opt for 1 week priority or Next day super priority which comes with additional fee.

I have received a letter of admission to study at the University of Hertfordshire, UK (MA Human Resource Management).
I'm really confused on how to go about the TB examination booking as IOM don't have a closer date to meet up with September intake..

Go to their office with a print out if your offer letter that they are the one delaying application for visa, they would give you a date in August, result comes out same day. You can then proceed to apply for your Visa if all other requirements are ready.

I have a random thought,go to the centre very early and tip any of your fellow applicants to go in with them as a family. Fill your own form when you get in and...it’s just a thought! I feel it will work.

I think flexi and walk-in are the same thing. The only option you would have is to do walk in since ur husband already has an appointment.
You will pay 42k for walk-in sha.
[b]But rumor has it [/b]that people have had to write their names a day before to be able to do thé walk in service. So I suggest you go in a day before, write your name and your dependant’s, then go on the 7th for the appointment with your husband.

It's not a rumour, it happened to me in Lagos, I don't know about Abuja, infact, they turned a family of 5 back on the day of my biometric, they only took 2 out of them and the other 3 put down their name for the next day.

So you are correct in your response.
