fergie001:After watching their absymal performance in their last few games, I must admit, you were right all along. The guy is not tactically sound. Only rivals want him in because they want to collect promo before he eventually leaves. Not a Man u fan but in all honesty, the niqqa has to go but make una hold on make Arsenal first collect 3 points The foolish legend, Gary Neville I suppose, is part of the Association of Foolish Legends, Ferdinand inclusive that rained all manner of invectives against former Coaches who indeed won something.Gary Neville is a bloody hypocrite. Ferdinand is lenient and more sensible than Neville and Scholes.......Same Neville wey Samir Nasri send into retirement. Is Ole more legendary @ Man Utd than Lampard was @ Chelsea? ![]() |
TheGiftedOne:Exactly! I remember saying this few weeks back.......Lewandoski is the only contender that can give Messi a run. |
Will he ever stop talking? How long does he intend to keep making excuses for the OGS?? Neville failed as a coach.....i hope he doesn't end up as a failed pundits as well. Its even annoying to think that I was defending this rookie and wack coach few weeks ago.......Fergie001, abeg no vex. I been follow 'damn niggar' smoke loud that day ![]() First 3 games Man u had 7 points while Arsenal had nothing, tomorrow na 1 point go separate them. You can't make stupid excuses for a coach with this quality of players. Make them sack Ole before e carry Ronaldo go play Europa League next season. |
A club legend has suggested that the Red Devils are lacking balance amid a plethora of high-quality attacking options. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is facing a Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani "conundrum" among a long list of other issues after Manchester United's loss at Leicester City, according to Gary Neville. United extended their winless run in the Premier League to three matches after going down 4-2 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, with goals from Youri Tielemans, Caglar Soyuncu, Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka sealing a memorable victory for Leicester. Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford struck for United, who suffered defeat away from home for the first time in 30 games, while Ronaldo cut a frustrated figure in the final third after being restored to Solskjaer's starting XI. What's been said? It has been suggested that Ronaldo's lack of pressing off the ball leaves the Red Devils short defensively, and with Uruguay workhorse Cavani waiting in the wings on the bench, Neville thinks Solskjaer now has a real selection dilemma on his hands. A club legend also feels that the likes of Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho are failing to live up to the required standard, with Liverpool and Manchester City considered to still be well ahead when it comes to "work ethic". "They've got this real conundrum with Pogba and Fernandes, they've got this real conundrum with Ronaldo and Cavani, another conundrum with Greenwood, Rashford and Sancho," Neville told Sky Sports. "You put all these teams into a unit when out of possession, and those players' strengths aren't out of possession. "The great players are able to do it in both ways, but they're biased towards the attacking side of the game. What Manchester United's star players need is to have the work ethic of Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, and Sadio Mane. World-class players who work like absolute dogs every game. I don't see that among United's most talented players." Pressure builds on Solskjaer It has been suggested that Solskjaer is on borrowed time after United's underwhelming start to the 2021-22 campaign, with an expectant fanbase beginning to lose patience as a five-year trophy drought approaches. Neville doesn't think the Norwegian will lose his job yet, though, and remains hopeful that he will be able to find a balance as he continues to manage a world-class squad. "The pressure will build on the manager and the pressure will build on the players," he added. "They won't do anything with the manager. Ultimately, I think the club are stable in this respect in what's happened in the last 10 years. I think they recognise that they are going to go through these moments. "They are integrating [Raphael] Varane, Sancho and Ronaldo and I feel they'll see it through but there is massive pressure. It's not coming. It's here. It was there before the international break and it's not going to go away. It should be there. It's Manchester United. They've spent a fortune and they've got some of the best players in the world." https://www.goal.com/en-ng/news/ronaldo-cavani-conundrum-man-utd-boss-solskjaer-neville/1hs9ca516wyv013ccriklnczxd

NORSIYK:if I had the picture I would be sent it. Is wikipedia a reliable source or not?? |
NORSIYK:No be me you go give this assignment. I have once again exposed your lies that Messi was the best player at the Olympics. |
NORSIYK:Don't tell me you know better than wikipedia
|
Starz825:2 finals with Man U and 1 with Juventus. |
NORSIYK:
|
NORSIYK:You said they have the same number of goals. The screenshot was to show you Ronaldo scored just once.
|
NORSIYK:I sent you a screenshot already |
fredoooooo:that was how he won Euro top scorer..... 3 pen and 2 open play goal |
Upjis:Okay Copa america and Euro with one do you think is more difficult?who cares about difficulty?? They are both continental tournaments with world class players. Champions of all continents participate in Confederations cup.......if Euro is special and more prestigious than Copa America and the others, they shouldn't be competing with Champions of other continents. Many countries play in copa america and how many countries play Euro?Europe has 53 countries and South America is made up of 12 countries. Should Messi be blamed because CA is participated by 12 countries?? How come everyone became concerned about the number of countries that participate in CA after Messi and Argentina emerged winner?? In terms of trophies, how many major trophies did messi win last season?I don't know how many times I have to explain this. Balon D'or and FIFA Best is based on individual performance. It is not a team award. Jorginho's performance was not Balon D'or worthy. As a matter of fact, he wasn't even the Chelsea's best. He was lucky to be in a winning team. With or without him, nothing would have stopped Chelsea and Italy from become champions. Messi won Copa Del Rey and Copa America. He also won La liga Golden boot, Copa America Best Player and Top scorer. And how trophies did Jorginho win last seasonUEFA & Euros with no match winning performance or spectacular display rather he lost a penalty that could have cost Italy the trophies. Jorginho had a wonderful season more than messiYes, he did very well escorting Chelsea and Italy to the UCL and Euros. It's not always about Ronaldo and messi ,who ever deserves give it to him and forget about namesYes, its not about Ronaldo and Messi but definitely not Jorginho. Lewandoski is the strongest contender to Messi not that average player. |
fredoooooo:He lied...... Na only one goal Ronaldo score |
NORSIYK:Easy with the lies
|
FahBuLous:Bless you too bro |
ADAMUdaCOWBOY:Exactly! |
gurunlocker:Yea I read about it somewhere and even on NL....don't worry I will check and send you a link |
bayelsaowei:The bolded says it all |
bayelsaowei:and also best player and top scorer in Copa America |
wealthgoddess:You should have reminded how his goat stole eder's shine at euro 2016. |
ogmask:Many Ronaldo fans are just blinded by sentiment. Just imagine his contributions in the Copa America... He was involved in 9 out of 12 goals yet some do not see his qualities. And he does this year in year out ooooo for club and country. This shows that, when Messi is not scoring he playmakes and also contributes assists by creating goal scoring opportunities. Messi is that player that have won countless MOTM even without scoring but same cannot be said of Ronaldo cos his presence is mostly felt when he scores. For example, yesterday's game vs Leceister City.......He was quiet in that game and that because he didnt score a goal. Messi is the world best whichever way you look at it. I dey house make my former goat supporters come beat me for supporting the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOAT- LEO MESSI... ![]() |
gurunlocker:They are giving out 2 Balon D'or Award this year. One will be for last year and that's undeniably Lewy's award.....then the other one will be for this year. |
kcnwaigbo:This shows you haven't been following Balon D'or power ranking since Feb/Mar. |
MoneyTrees:Kindly help yourself with this link https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.guinnessworldrecords.com/amp/news/2012/12/barcelona-star-lionel-messi-sets-new-goalscoring-record-46285/%3ffb_comment_id=571599079522815_118615301 |
Numerouno94: ![]() Buh if it persists try some drugs pls.[/quote]yes I will |
Oyiboman69:I am calling the MODs out because they are fond of burying any thread that exalt Messi but always quick to paste anyone that can dent his image on FP. |
MoneyTrees:He doesn't need your validation after conquering 3 different continents to win the Olympics (Asia) Copa America (South America) and Europe?? You already know.......Best Player at the World Cup, Olympics, Copa America, UCL. |
![]() Alejandrah: |
brandmix:Individual performance should win the award. Jorginho is not spectacular.....Kante had a better season. The only reason Jorginho is even in this discussion is because of the UCL and Euro not because he performed any better. |
