khaleesi:Old thread but I have similar issue, am wondering if mine has to do with the ambient sensor that is not present in the car? because I had new filters installed early this year. Regards |
Alejob:My 51" LG gives me 21watt on maximum energy and 44 watts on medium |
elebiola:I hope it was double cell that is the actual specification of the car, my car had a single cell and changing it to single cell was all I did. So how is the performance after the change? By the way you may want to check your coolant as well, if you can't afford the original Toyota coolant don't go for the Abros rather go for distilled water instead. |

elebiola:Did you change radiator to a new exact car spec? |
ugreat:Yes that's correct. |
NiyiOmoIyunade:Do you know if felicity makes hybrid pure sine wave inverter/solar and how reliable is it compared to the likes of ispirit series of mercury? |

ojeysky:I said I will be coming back on this and here I am. I have just completed a journey from Lagos to Ekiti. I ensured to travel between 11 and 5pm when the environment was largely hot. In the past: Whenever I travel from Lagos to Ekiti (or vice versa) my coolant temperature gets to as high as 110C and it is when I stop using AC and maintain 120km/h that my temperature won't exceed 110 otherwise it will and I will be forced to slow down to avoid overheating. I have tried all sort of things including changing gasket, plugs, injectors and meeting engineers that have advance scanners and was advised that I change the engine. I also meet kazeems who suggested that I connect fan direct and buy a double cell radiator. I read about GAZZUZZ on Nairaland (and connected via WhatsApp) a friend of mine also told me about him so I decided that I was going to have him do the engine replacement as I don't like doing out of spec modes. Engine replacement with GAZZUZZ was going to cost around 200k+. I made up my mind, gathered the money and drove to GAZZUZZ in Lagos, he looked at the car briefly and said I should change my radiator and that he won't even do an engine change without my radiator change (this is where anyone who doesn't know his person may get pissed off as one may think he is being proud) . It felt too easy considering how far I traveled and the amount of time he spent with my car. On the understanding that I will change radiator irrespective of engine change or not, I decided to go with GAZZUZZ advice of changing the radiator to a brand new single cell specs for the car, and also got the Toyota coolant. Behold the car temperature became stable, we test run within Lagos and all still checked out. I couldn't entirely believe it was true until I got to Ekiti with my max temperature at 97C. I was running AC and got past 140km/h without any temperature spike. Finally people, I recommend that guy called GAZZUZZ, his pricing may be more than what kazeems charge or may look awkward in your interaction with him but I can assure you that his service is on point. @smart724 as you can see, am no longer selling my engine as it's kicking in my car! Regards |
Does anyone know where I can get the engine oil in Lagos or Ekiti? |
ojeysky:GAZZUZZ may have just done some wonder with my car! To be extra sure that it's one that will last, I will be taking the car on a long journey and I will come back to tell you my story in the next 2 weeks! Meanwhile my mouth has been wide open thus far...wow! |

I have a new ZTE mf970 for sale, it supports MTN LTE but NOT Glo (the reason am selling as no MTN LTE in Ekiti) Holla if interested. (am currently in Lagos and have it with me): 08035233535 Price: 21k |
Hello People, I have a 1nz-fe car engine for sale, am changing the engine just on preference basis because the car temperature increases when am driving with AC. I have been told it's gasket but but I don't want to go through that process. I was also told it will be okay if I change my radiator to double cell, I also don't want to go that route. The engine is very sound and it has less than 120k miles on it with less than 50k in naija. You can test drive the car before buying as it's still installed in my 2010 Yaris. So if you are interested, you can come for the engine in Lagos. I need a buyer tomorrow at the latest! Price: 80k - sightly negotiable. Regards |

GAZZUZZ:This engine looks alone gives me hope but they say content matters as well. I hope all engines sold by GAZZUZZ will be as clean inside out as well. |
kiekie1:Hello, it's a 1.5kva sumo premium inverter. I got it a long time ago (over 5 years now) in the past it used to indicate the charging status but in the last 18 months it stopped doing that though from the battery readings I can see it's charging but I am just not sure it's doing so optimally? Thanks

Hello, Does anyone know a good mechanic in Ekiti, NOT kazeems that will recommend removing thermostat and connecting fan direct! Thanks |
darella82:I have a unit of this for 7k, holla if interested. |
darella82:I have one of this and it's brand new, holla if you are interested. It's 7k non-negotiable. Regards |
ojeysky:I can give this out for 7k as well. |
Hello People, I need to know if my inverter is not doing fine with the charging stages. At the initial charging state (bulk), it charges at a fast rate and once it gets to 26v the charging starts to fluctuate; it will get to 28.5 and then suddenly drop to 26.5 then it will go to 27.5 and again drop back to 26.5v. I thought it was supposed to just stay at 28.5v when it's fully charged? Regards

Hello, I have a brand new power meter plug for sale for 8k. Anyone interested should holla ASAP! Cheers! Location: Ado-Ekiti but will be in Lagos on Saturday for an event.

earthrealm:Hmm...I don't know of any 10kva servo from prag that is 80v to 280v. Do you have pointers? Regards PS: Am enjoying my 10kva desktop A&E so far but will be good to know. |
earthrealm:It means it can't handle high voltage since it's 230v? There is also no prag servo at 10kva with 80v to 260v. I can't seem to find the 15kva servo of A&E at a friendly price so will settle for 10kva desktop |
ebuks4ever:Am using 5w30 lubex synthetic engine oil. It's in a blue 7 litre can. I have noted your recommendation on the ATF, how many litres would I require and do you know the price? Thanks |
Hello, I am using 5w30 but have been noticing engine oil reduction in my last 2 change; I am on 3k miles at the moment and I have used over 5litre already. Is that normal? Car not smoking and it drives well. I also notice my gear shifts to neutral when descending and it makes some noise before it then shifts to next gear, though it drives fine but I wonder if this means the ATF fluid requires changing? I have never changed it since I bought it over a year ago. I checked the fluid it's a little above the hot region and the colour is not black, though I don't know the ATF currently in it. If I should change the ATF, what's the recommended fluid Thanks Yaris 2010 Sedan (Core) running 1NZ |
earthrealm:Interesting experience you've got with A&E so maybe a 15kva is what I should have gotten then. Are you using the desktop version or wall mount? it seem the wall mount has more indicators than desktop. I have just been contacted that the wall mount I ordered is out of stock so am considering the desktop version. |
earthrealm:I called datacomm and the feedback they gave was that Voltron input range for 12kva is 140v to 220v. I have never seen such a small band so I went for 10kva A&E instead which has 80v to 270v. I hope it will be sufficient for my load. |
earthrealm:What's the price range for A&E? How about Voltron Servo, any experience with that?:https://www.datacommexpress.com/khxc/index.php?app=ecom&ns=prodshow&ref=Voltron-VT11-12000-L |
earthrealm:Am interested in this discussion, can you recommend a good servo product? I need one between 10kva and 12kva and I will also like to have one with wide band voltage, say 140v to 280v. Regards |
