depends on your inverter/charger charge profile. If it is an advanced charger with temperature compensation and using an AGM settings. That can explain the relatively low charge voltage. What inverter/charger do you charge your battery with.

It's a 1.5kva sumo inverter, I have been using it a long time ago. The battery is Garcia 150Ah and I bought it newly.

BATTERY BALANCER REVIEW

so, there's been this debate whether battery balancer works or not... well, I 'like just state my observation.

so, I installed a 3.5kva/48v inverter system for this client with 4 batteries, December 2018. all batteries were reading 12.7v at purchase (why I always love Quanta; reads 12.9v at purchase).

last week Friday, I added battery meters and discovered that the batteries weren't just balanced. During charge they're reading 14.5v, 14.3v, 14.7v, 13.8v. (see Pic 1)

Please am just curious how come you guys are getting voltage reading this high? I have 2 (150Ah) batteries and the highest it gets to during charge is 28.5 (which is about 14.2v each) when it's fully charged it goes to 26.5v and does not exceed that voltage. If the inverter is off and I test with my multimeter I get a max of 12.8v on each battery is this normal?

I'm settling for the MK. MPPSolar has confirmed by email that for online mode the output voltage is stable 220v - 240v but that for bypass mode the output follows the input.

If true, it means for input range of 110v-280v, one gets 220v eliminating the need for stabilizer.

I like the features of the 3024GK it's just for home use so I don't need the line feature, I also already have a stabilizer between mains and inverter.
Where can one get this in Nigeria and price? and does anyone have usage experience of the 3024GK model?

My next set of bulbs will be the rechargeable ones. Figured there won't be need to have my inverter on through the night if I can get few bulbs that last for 5 hours without power supply. Any idea of such bulbs?

It didn't indicate the wattage, they just have various number of LEDs, do you know the one equivalent to 5watts?

That's true. I use a 5w LED bulbs and the illuminance is at par with a 11 watt CFL bulb

Can I know this low watt LED bulks, the least I have been able to get is 15w AKT bulb. Where can I get the lower wattage and are they bright enough?

If your car A/c cools morning and evening, then you need to refill your system(gas)

Make sure they drain the air before refilling.

I have refilled it already but it still doesn't cool in the afternoon as much as it does in the morning and evenings. My 1 in the morning is almost equivalent to 3 in the afternoon

Oh so Lubex is not a good synthetic oil? i have been using it since last year but i could not find it this time around so i went for mobile 1 high millage. Does it mean it is now that i have just started using good 5W-30 Synthetic oil? and the previous Lubex does not count

USA spec Castrol fully synethic 5quarts 5w30 for 13500k... compare the quality to Oando oil and others at 14500k..

USA spec Mobil 1 fully synethic oil 5quarts for 15500 ,compare to Nigerian made or imported ones..

I use synthetic oil ever since. Belive me, that oil is shittingly expensive (about 14K) but on the long run it's worth it

This is not even full synthetic, I don't think this should be up to 14k though maybe the seller is making extra bucks off you.

Hello, it's a 1.5kva sumo premium inverter. I got it a long time ago (over 5 years now) in the past it used to indicate the charging status but in the last 18 months it stopped doing that though from the battery readings I can see it's charging but I am just not sure it's doing so optimally?

Anyone with an idea on whether my inverter is the problem or if it's normal. In the past it gets to 28.2v and quickly comes back down to 26.2v but now it gets to 27.6v and quickly comes back down to 26.2v. We've had fairly stable electricity in the past few days and the charging of the battery has not gone beyond 26.2v is this normal? I used to hear people talk of their 12v battery charging up to 14v but mine only does 13.1v Max. What could be wrong?

There lies the rub. Cheapest delivery company we have found so far charges $20 minimum for less than 5 pounds and $3.39 per pound for over five pounds. Unless one wants to use ocean.

Am curious about the delivery company that does 3.39 and will be good to know the ocean option cost
