omonnakoda: [s]Nothing unjust about it .
Ojukwu used starvation as a propaganda tool believing it served his strategy.
You could have surrendered much earlier but made a stubborn choice.
I can assure that this generation of Nigerians feel Gowon was too lenient with you.
Be assured this time you will be evacuated from the SE and the demographic of that space changed permanently.
You were defeated, shut up and suck it up. That is the message
You are the ones that like to talk. By now you should know what your neighbours are capable of.
If a child cannot wield a sword he does not ask what killed his father[/s] You coundn't do it in the 60s and you think you can achieve your satanic agenda in this 21st century joker. We have peacefully changed the demography of your region permanently without firing a shot. |

MinorityOpinion: Okay but you know in your heart that what I'm saying is the truth There no is atom of truth in what you said. You sadly said Igbo grievances against the state was based on misinformation from their parents based on events of 1966 to 1970 . Your post was an insult to victims of 1966 pogrom that claimed 10s of thousands of Igbos lives all over Nigeria.(Do you know that the victims have surviving relatives who doesn't need anyone to tell them exactly what happened to their Fathers or mothers, sisters and brothers) You are technically denying the fact that Nigeria unjustly killed millions through starvation as a weapon war, we have no justifications to complain. You are too.If anyone is misinformed about what happened during that time it is you. |

MinorityOpinion: Every man is innocent, as they say "No child is born with hate". Whatever we are today is as a result of our environment, including our parents, friends, neighbours, tribes etc
Our characteristics and features is shaped by these environmental factors, we use it to judge many things either good or bad. The best thing is to learn more about environment to sort out bad from good and lies from the truth.
I don't blame the Biafrans for getting angry at Nigerians. I would be mad too, I would be angry but will that bring back Biafra? No it won't. Will it bring back the lost soldiers of Biafra? No it won't.
I was opportuned to ask a young igbo boy what he thinks about his home town, the young boy was from Enugu but he idolizes Onitsha, he also speaks of his good neighbours who are Yorubas. Now does this narrative hold truth for all igbos? No.
An average igbo hate Yoruba and he even hates the Hausa more. If you think the statement is false, go to Nnamdi Kanu page and witness the unholy activities going on there. While you may think igbos only hate the Hausa, the recent outburst of Nnamdi Kanu racist and hateful remarks against Yoruba while no igbo elder cautioning and condemning it shows how far the relationship between the two tribes is hanging on a thread.
The cause of this hatred is not far from the Civil War. Many igbos believe they were wronged, Why? Because their parents and elders told them so. Many of the things they were told as a child are;
-Hausa are not your friend and they are illiterate -Yoruba are cowards and they are not to be trusted - Both Hausa and Yoruba attacked your people without doing anything to them -it only Igbos that are hard working in Nigeria. Hausa are stupid and Yoruba are lazy -South south are only good for house girl and boyboy -The Nigeria troops killed 3 million igbos during the war -The wicked Yoruba use their dirty Media to support the genocide of igbos during the war -Nigeria took away igbo money and gave them 20 pounds.
And so on, if you were told this as a young child, you will feel nothing but rage against these two tribes, you will feel wronged and nothing but hatred towards them, you will not want to associate with them.
If I were to tell the above listed statements are all false, I don't know why the elders of igbos choose to tell them the lies instead of the truth or choose not to say anything to correct the wrong impression of igbos against other tribes.
Today's igbos are not to be blamed, they are all innocent, they are our brothers. Instead of fighting them, we should be showing them the truth that their elders chose to hide from them. We should be showing them love, the only way to counter hate is love.
I repeat, Today's igbos are not to be blamed or hated! They are our brothers

Bembellaa: Almajiris are student seeking Islamic knowledge in a system popularly known as Almajiri system in Nigeria...
The system was misused and bastardized... Some couples who gives birth to unwanted children do dump them there. Some poor and uneducated people from the villages send their children to the Almajiri school to acquire Islam knowledge...most of the Almajiri teachers now used them to farm and allow them to beg in the society to survive instead of taken care of them... The government neglected the system I didn't ask you to give me lecture on almajiri. In case you've forgotten you said everybody should answered him papa name and my answer is, not until your leaders formalise it in senate. |

Politics › Re: The Fact You Should Know About The Igbos Of Lagos By Obasanjo. by Ojiofor: 12:23pm On May 28, 2020 |
Chimaraymond455: Obasanjo revealed. Former President of Nigeria, Chief Obasanjo has revealed reasons why Igbos are ahead of other tribes in Nigeria. It will be a task impossible to actualize for the Igbos, to follow the Yoruba’s Ideology. The Igbos are more republican by nature, which is why it is very difficult for you to tame such a tribe. From the extensive research I did on the three major tribes, I find out that the Igbos are the most westernized, most enterprising, most astute, most dynamic, most intelligent (smart), and the most technically gifted tribe found among the black race. The Hausa/Fulani and the Yorubas have limitations. But an Igbo man doesn’t see any limitations. An average Igbo man is highly competitive, unlike the Yoruba and the Hausa/Fulani. While the Yoruba and the Hausa/Fulani had kingdoms which enabled the British to infiltrate their territories easily, the Igbos on the other hand, had what could be called “Chiefdoms” (autonomous Communities). These structures made it very difficult to tame the Igbos. It took the British just 9 months to tame the North and South West but almost 30 years to be able to tame the Igbos. The British had to send a team of anthropologists to the South to understudy the Igbo because, they (the British) acknowledged they hadn’t been up against a black race with such depth and intelligence coupled with the gut to confront the whites and learn from them so, so fast. While a Tinubu, can have unrestricted influence over the Yoruba tribe, something you can only find mostly among blacks and some poor nations on earth today, an Igbo man can never be tamed by the ideology of one man unchecked, no matter how highly placed he or she is. That’s why the Igbos are very successful no matter where they find themselves. They don’t believe in putting limitations on their path. You can only find such similarities among the Europeans, the Americans, and developed Asian tiger nations. A Hausa/Fulani man sees Kano as his world. A Yoruba man sees Lagos as his world. An Igbo man sees the world as his village. Stop spreading stupid superiority propaganda it will not feed you and your family. |

Xavfra: Yes..... But OGUTA they IMO .....
We should maintain the 5 states I'll rather be Nigeria or Somalia than a biafra with south south not necessarily because I hate them but there will be conflicts worse than boko Haram..... I use Oguta as an example of appeasment FGN can put on table for them to quickly change position as they did in 1967 after state creation was offered to them.Btw,I do not hate them, its politics of survival and you have to play smart and if you don't ,well, you have yourself to blame. I am in for all Igbo speaking territories in and outside SE who are willing to join or rather the 7 member Ohanaeze states. |
