Whether we like or not this system will surely collapse soonest. A mono economy country where there is no roadmap for industrialization with ever increasing population is on her way to perdition. The few industries we have here are being managed by foreigners where locals are treated as cooperate slaves in their country. Presently we are deceiving ourselves with this system, even it will be very difficult for angel as a president to succeed governed this country. Give Yobe State to China to manage just for years and you will see different state. |

pinkPUSSY:So, Yoruba called Igbo then to fight Fulani in Oshogbo? Yoruba had their military outfit before colonization which defended their territory. Do never think Yoruba cautiousness as be cowardice. |
bjdon:Militants never go up north to kidnap anybody but in Niger delta region. Fulani supposed to to live in line with hosts communities since they are not in north. |
mrvitalis:You should know that statement we are looking at was made by one of the selfless politicians that ever lived in south east. My brother, the men of yesterday left with regret no doubt about that, we may not have opportunity to read Zik of Africa final statement but I will never forget AWO,s last birth statement 'one mistake in life can cause sorrow for ever' |
mrvitalis:I believe it is good for us southern people to know where our Fathers got it wrong. This altitude not able to form alliance down south here will continue to undermine our future. We may have different ideology, belief or anything but the same future awaiting us. No alliance between north with any part of the south can yield good result for us in the south whether the one in the past or present. |
Their father's graduated from Nigeria universities back then with fun fare and many opportunities to work anywhere, and today these sets of people have abandoned the universities that gave birth to them to rust away because foreign universities are there for their inborn children. |
SNG has gone mute these days, everyone has accepted fate. People should apologize to Jonathan for not occupy Nigeria at this period when Buhari government deliberately ignored the killing of people on daily basis. |
Don't worry yourselves King, we true Yorubas now know why you and Alafin always downgrade Obasanjo for Buhari. You people have been brutalized exposed, posterity will ever be kind to Obasanjo just for this timely wake-up call about RUGA. Baba OBJ is a winner even your RUGA president envies his acceptability across tribes. Continuing shading OBJ while Fulani continues building communities for themselves in your domain until you become another Afonja. |
It seems Obasanjo has in formats inside this government, getting ahead of government's policy is very rear. Those people criticizing him can tell us now what is the meaning of fulanization and islamization other than their saint Buhari's ruga settlement. |
Abali1:This is what Ola Rotimi has to say "The gods are not to blame". I have the same problem some years ago, after much tests we were given clearance to go ahead with wedding later discovered in marriage that something had gone wrong. Sometimes you may not know whom to ask questions in life but God knows everything that surrounds us. |
SillyMods:It is over for this country so to say if people still reasoned like this in 20th century. Card reader took data from central database and still capable to do same. Vote cast is more than vote accredited this is the crux of the matter. |
Alimajiri is a legacy northern past leaders bequeathed on northern Nigeria. They are proud of their production less population; they brag of winning elections without the support of other regions because of their time bomb alimajiri. No one alive can introduce birth control in the north. That is the bitter truth, they love it that way so far they have largest population in Nigeria. Most of their emirs are highly cerebral but they tactically give support to this menace. Time will teach Nigeria bitter lesson. |
Great write up. It is not easy to go through depression alone without support could be fatal. I experienced something similar some weeks ago despite being so confident in the past that nothing will ever lead me to depression. Please, use your time to talk to someone especially this current situations Nigerians find themselves, you don't know whose life is already at cliff. |
Please leave Kano people alone. Buhari and APC are the best thing to have happened to Kanonites. Is 1m votes a joke. They created a monster called Buhari, they never see anything bad about their saint. Sai Gandolar. |
olasco18:Good for them, next time they will never put their eggs in one basket. They should enjoy their Mr Integrity as he looks other way for gandolar to have his way. |
[quote author=seunmsg post=76908506]Dear APC Kano, do whatever is legitimate to win the election. Best of luck to Gov. Ganduje. [/quote Good |
olasco18:Enjoy Mr Integrity |
We told them that their saint Buhari is a father of deceit of all time but Kano people said we were wrong that we hated the man. So Mr Integrity is sleeping as usually or he is not longer the commander of army forces again, sorry he is not in charge Kano people enjoy yourselves with Mr gandolar for next for years. |
Why going electronically if it a planned work to rig the election by inec itself? Why wasting 250b when inec knows the winners before the election? Well posterity will not forgive anyone that intentionally plundered our commonwealth in the name of kangaroo's election. |
Ronaldo is a fighter, like the match between Juve and Atleti, a person like Messi will not do well in such a match since Atleti is already two goals up. But Rinaldo proved everyone wrong with those bullet headers. Let us appreciate a never say is over spirit. |
I'm expecting this kind of scenario. APC will not allow their trusted man to fall like that. Kano people will now know exactly person their Mr Integrity is. We tried down south here to vote this man out but you people did otherwise, thinking that we hated Buhari. The reason that made us to dislike him is about to prove it to you now. Inconclusive election is like a snake killed with head intact, such snake is deadliest than live snake if it chooses to bite. Gaduje is like such snake now. I wish you next level of inconclusiveness. |
Bro, which election? Please don't disturb us with your rhetorical statements. |
We are done. Nigeria is gradually going beyond redemption. Professor not unions or street urchins this time. |
My country man, I understand your feelings many people felt the same way. It is a pity that the so called progressives have turned Nigeria to war torn country. For the so called people you mentioned in your post, posterity will not forgive them. It amused me a lot as these men will quickly attack OBJ at every opportunity while pretending to speak against the evils in buhari government. They should keep quiet henceforth and forever. |
Going by some comments here, I dare say Nigeria is gone so to say. Because we don't want to here the genesis of our present predicament, we play to gallery to defend undefendable because the people mentioned are my or your people. I could still remember what I read sometimes ago what Awolowo said during his last birthday on earth; it was then I knew this one Nigeria is a joke. It is well known this man never believed on one Nigeria. He said, it is not possible for an Ogbomoso man to reason like Sokoto man. He did what humanly possible to reverse the course of Yoruba's destiny but time was already against him. I was in Kebbi State sometimes 2011,when I met a man from Plateau State, he was eulogizing Great Zik at expense of Balewa and Awolowo that it was Zik that formed one Nigeria. That Awolowo was only after his region and never cared about other regions especially north. In fact, I stopped him when every negative things were said about Awolowo, you know as a Yoruba man will not be too comfortable with those statements. Initially, our northern brothers never knew that all what Zik was doing then and Ironsi unification decree later were there favour. But alas! The chicken has come home to roost and things have fallen apart and country Nigeria is for northern Nigeria to enjoy. We southerners should stop abuse them, they were never our problems and never can they proffer solutions to Nigeria ailments. From the look of things, it is obvious that our eastern and western brothers will continue to trade blames instead of responsibilities in many years to come. Nigeria problems and solutions rest with southerners period. |
I think this write up is not a means to generate unnecessary controversies but time to carry out analysis to see how we can change bad situations history has bequeathed on us. Honesty, there is no tribe or region that is not feeling the pain and for how long? Structurally, it is impossible for Nigeria to work that is a bitter truth. Which way should we go from here? This Is not the time to trade blames, pointing accused fingers, or played victim role but time to take responsibility of what that have happened and forgive ourselves especially we southerners. |
bettercreature:I think he will learn from his previous experiences. Whenever, I remembered how this man setup the then Chelsea that conquered Europe and Chelsea of Italian coaches, I agreed he is truly a Special One. His work in united has began to speak, if anyone thinks it's current coach that carries all the glory that means united will soon go the way of Madrid |
Bungalow:You are too emotional. Were these corporations working effectively before privatization? Government only paid workers and other expenses without meaningful return every year, so now government has partially solved the problem hoping that these new investors would manage them as profit oriented company. |
IntrovertedK:I will never forget the time he came for campaigning in my place, I have never seen a rally with such population, excitement, dedication etc in my life. People were still trooping in after Mimiko had gone, Iroko Special. People were donating money to buy campaign clothes and cap while PDP flooded everywhere with campaign accessories, yet state government had to enforce it on government workers before they could put it on. If Mimiko couldn't become jagaban in ondo state, nobody else not even Tinubu. So Mimiko bleeped up and ondo people bleeped him up too. And that is the end of Solomon Mimiko so to say. |
My Ondo people are peculiar among Yoruba whether we like or not. Ondo state will be the last state in which Tinubu will install his stooge. He tried it in the past but he failed. The time he supported Ateki was the time he came third in gubernatorial election. So until now Tinubu had not been able to lay hold of ondo state government, maybe he will succeed doing it later in future, remain to be seen |
Nonsense. Were they in different parties all this while the problems lingering? |
