A simple google search would show that there should be a similar list for trump and it would number probably 10. as the author added certain edits to what is mostly labelled against Trump. Prof Osinbajo is clearly a lover of the people and only those paid to write offensive materials as this would think of such Juliusmalema: |
oh, just imagine Osinbajo as President... the strides we'd be taking on a reg eh... |
Clearly only the uninformed would say that the vice president hasn't been making any impact as regards the end SARS. |
“Men who say what they mean and do what they say are said to be full of integrity and these are some of the strongest character traits that we find in President and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.” These words were spoken by Mr. Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President as he was introducing beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s 30, 000 one time grant for 333,000 Nigerian artisans on the Radio Nigeria program; Have Your Say. I am here to tell Nigerians that the program is for real, and that is why we have the gusts on the show today so that Nigerians would know that President Buhari and his Vice; Prof. Osinbajo are men of Integrity who would always do what they have said they’d do. He quipped. “The Buhari administration is committed to helping the MSMEs and we can see this with the transitioning from previously interest-free loans being granted to this recent Survival Fund that is a one-time grant, and that is why we have the leaders of various associations of artisans here testifying.” Mr. Laolu added that “The FG has a lot of programmes designed for MSMEs to try to address the gamut of challenges befuddling the sector ranging from the MSMEClinics that Prof. Osinbajo has currently taken to 26 states with the intention to visit others to the recent ones lodged in the National Economic Sustainability Plan designed to mitigate the impact of the covid19 Pandemic on the Nigerian economy.” In conclusion, he stated that all of this was anticipated by the President and as such was why he empowered the Vice president to set up the NESP planning and implementation committee to help re-inflate the economy by getting monies into the hands of the average Nigerian.

This is so heartwarming! |
Actively participating in issues affecting the welfare of the Nigerian youth has come to be one of VP Yemi Osinbajo's main enduring characteristics. |
Most of those present at the Lekki, Alausa, and Abuja protests would have a fair knowledge of what the above title stands for, and for those who don’t you might finally want to stop procrastinating and finally read George Orwell’s Animal Farm. So that I don’t bore those who would spend the day searching for CaCovid warehouses in their various states or the new goldmine; NYSC camps, I’ll get round to where four-legged pigs began to walk on two feet and the phrase that even those who hijacked the peaceful protests are familiar with was borne; “All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others” Already, the impact of those whom I call the new SARS can be felt in various parts of the country. Transport fare has quadrupled in Lagos after the foot soldiers Arson division struck last week and destroyed over three scores of the famous BRT buses. Now we are currently hearing that a bag of Onion has jumped to 75 thousand, and Christmas is not far again o. My heart goes out to everyone who has had their sources of livelihood vandalized or stolen in the last week, I hope that the perpetrators get what they deserve just as the evil police officers are beginning to meet their waterloo from the various judiciary panels being set up in the various states under the direction of nonother than the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo led NEC. Hopefully the victims would finally get justice and their families compensated. The wages of sin is still death; do not join them to loot people’s sweat and blood in the name of palliative. Those who live in glass houses must not throw stones, we cannot overnight transform into the very SARS that we began these protests over and begin to pillage, extort, and harass our fellow Nigerians. History will not be kind to us if we lose the momentum to drive the change that we all want so desperately across the Arms and tiers of government
|
Prof. Osinbajo said it all, we must move to a merit-based society if we are going to accelerate our growth as a nation. To think that it is starting with schemes designed to help the downtrodden of the society is very impressive. |
Once again the VP is on the issue probably wondering why the states yet to come in board are delaying commencement. |
It is still the same scheme that the lady at the protest ground have kudos to fit empowering her, before Nigerian youths donated more than a million for her, we might not like the facts but fake news would get us no where. |
All these are the great plans already itemized as the forces to reinflate the economy by the Osinbajo led economic sustainability plan |
one or two of us have been invited to the panel in Lagos, but we refused to nominate those to attend, when people like Banky W were contesting in the last elections, not only did the predominantly youthful electorate pass up on him, but folks like Sowore didn't take his cue and flood themselves into the House of Assembly in order to effect change from within. The inability to comprehend a broadcasted speech should not be placed at anyone else's feet as is the need for a summary from others. ojun50: |
I'd normally ask how, but in second thought, I'll just assume that you expected the US emissaries to visit you and demand justice 8stargeneral: |
Anyone asking the vp to resign doesn't particularly like prof Osinbajo, they're all politically motivated out financially influenced |
The time has come to rebuild our country. As we demand justice for not just the actions of the soldiers but all the SARS officials that have and will be indicted. |
Surely the VP would ensure that the victims not only get justice but adequate care at the hospitals |
let no one say again that the VP has not spoken or did not speak on the #EndSARS issue. |
Coupled with the tweet released by VP Osinbajo last Friday, it's becoming quite clear that the government is truly committee to reforming the Nigerian police this time and ensuring that the victims and their families get justice. |
When there's a story with actually proof of Osinbajo doing something good or making comments about a United restructured Nigeria, people will hit the mattress, but a fake and baseless story like this will have those in the opposition raised on strife pulsating like turtle doves. |
It's a given that SARS is a sentimental issue, even secondary victims are literally scared for life, but now that VP Osinbajo, has not only just apologized but given a concrete plan that seeks to not just restructure the unit but at the same time prosecute officers who have perpetrated such crimes, we should allow for the process to unfold even with a pinch of salt. |
your pain and bile must be retching on reps. Since you are below 5 years yourself, you might do well to look up the CENFiles and how they relate to the other party I'm too old to be getting dragged into mentioning. People who live inn glass houses should not throw stones DamZik: |
there is no helping those who refuse to be helped, most of those speaking negatively at the person of the Vice President are dissidents who have bile riled up within their system are aren't truly focused as to the gains from the positives in the pronouncements that have baned SARS |
Hopefully all the awardees are deserving |
As duly elected officials, Nigerians need to believe in their capacity to effect changes that would impact the nation |
This is highly commendable |
*300,000 houses to be built under the social housing plan *Early sites in all geo-political zones identified *Thousands of Cooperative societies to be mobilised Determined to ensure that the 300,000 housing units plan as part of the National Economic Sustainability Plan is delivered to the intended target, the Buhari administration would be providing mortgage loan guarantees to low income earners on low interest and collateral-free basis. The implementation of the social housing plan estimated to cost over N400B, is expected to kickoff next week as early sites for the housing projects have now been identified according to members of the Economic Sustainability Committee working on the projec. According to the sources, the Committee has already approved the plan to ensure that the 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units cost as little as between N1.8 to N2m, while financial assistance would be available for Nigerians to pay the mortgag Earlier in June, President Muhammadu Buhari and the Federal Executive Council approved a 2.3 Trillion Naira Economic Stimulus package after the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo led Economic Sustainability Committee had submitted its report. The President then directed Prof. Osinbajo to supervise the implementation of the plan. Under the Social Housing program of the ESP, there would also be Rent to Own option as part of the Buhari administration's resolve to impact the common man in this social Housing plan said to be unprecedented in scale and impact on the Nigerian economy with an expected generation of 1.8m jobs and houses delivered to about 1.5m Nigerian familie. Already sites for early start projects have been identified in all the 6 geo-political zones in addition to the FC The sites include those in Ekiti and Ogun in the Southwest, Enugu and Abia in the Southeast, Delta and Edo in the South-south, Yobe and Bauchi in the Northeast, Kaduna and Katsina in the Northwest and Nasarawa and Plateau in the North-central. Sites have also been identified in Abuj To kickstart the social Housing projects, the CBN has already committed to a N200B facility with a guarantee by the FG under the Finance Ministry at about 5% The implementing agency, Family Homes Fund Ltd, an agency under the Federal Ministry of Finance has already mobilized thousands of Cooperatives groups across the country who will participate in the social Housing plan as main warehouse agents and mobilize low income buyers. For instance FHF met recently with 93 Cooperative Leaders from the 6 geographical zones, under the aegis of the Co-Operatives Federation of Nigeri Under the 300,000 houses projects, massive local production is envisaged especially in the area of local building materials. In fact each of the building sites would operate as a factory with the production of housing inputs such as doors, windows, hinges, frames, cement, paints, etc going on at the site For instance about 1.5m doors would be needed, 1.8m windows and 7.8m hinge At least 400 houses would be built in each of the 774 LGAs in the country. The ESC is also said to be working with State governments to identify land for the house |
Ahmad Zakare the Senior special Advicer to the President on infrastructure said to on Radio Nigeria’s weekly program; Have Your Say that the country has a lot to be proud of at 60years. “60 might seem like a long time but in the committee of nations we are rightfully in our toddler years. Most importantly, we have continued to stay together despite many doomsday predictions. There is much left to be done but even more to be thankful for.” He responded when asked about the state of the nation’s infrastructure that; “this Buhari/Osinbajo administration will be remembered as the infrastructure revolutionists. The track record of President Buhari while he was military head of state and when he was head of the PTF are clear for all to see. It would have been alarming if we did not have the Abuja – Kaduna rail line in the period of increased security risks along that stretch of road. The Kashim Billa project in Benue state is another classic example of this government taking on long abandoned projects and completing them.” “The administration has had to be very ingenious in sourcing for funds to execute these projects, one of which was the $600m seed capital that was used to finance the second Niger Bridge, Lagos - Ibadan express way, Abuja – Kano expressway. Rail lines such as the Lagos – Ibadan that would soon be commissioned, the already commissioned Warri – Itapke line as well as that of the Kano – Marabi that is intended to take care of the Ecowas corridor. Finally there is also the Ajaokuta – Kaduna – Kano pipe line amongst various other projects.” When queried on the power sector, Zakare stated that “in the power sector, upon transition to democracy rule, the country rushed into huge investments in power generation; we built 10 NIPP plants, to the point where we have the line of sight of 15, 000 – 20, 000 MW. The fall out of this lopsidedness is that the lack of investment in transmission and distribution means that we still are only able to distribute a third of what we can generate.” “This dearth in provision of funds for transmission is aptly shown in the fact that only $30m was earmarked for it prior to this administration, a figure that has gone up now to $1.6b through funding from the World Bank, AfDB etc. Now with the country’s deal with Siemens of Germany, we are looking to take our transmission and distribution to an equitable quantity to what we can generate.” Explaining further as relates to the recent hike in electricity tariff, the SSA said that; “One of the major problems is that the people are hardly carried along. It is good to talk to the citizens. What we used to have was a situation where power was priced irrespective of service. Imagine paying the same amount for power at my residence in Maitama where I get 20 – 24hrs of power as my people back home in Jigawa who get less than 8 – 12hrs of energy on the average. “As such it was based on the consultations that NERC had with customers at the start of the year as well as the imploration of the President that we are now shifting to a serviced based tariff plan. Where everyone is metered and what you get is what you pay.” “It should be noted that majority of those making all the noise regarding the hike are not paying attention to the facts, as currently more than 70% of Nigerians aren’t even on the National grid and those are the people that the government is looking to provide solar power for Via Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s ESP plus those who are currently getting less than 12hrs of energy that would not witness any increase in their tariffs.”

romenna:shey he congratulated other PDP governors in the past that set a precedence that you are working with? Carry your admiration to the next level sorry junction. 2023 nor far |
The one thing one learns on social media these days is Nigerians deepening sense of entitlement. Folks don't even want to be informed anymore. It is all a wish and hope to get rich quick and disparage whatever requires hardwork of them. |
