PoliticsRe: Conspiracy Against Orji Kalu: Osinbajo Should Resign, Abaribe Should Be Expelled by ojokolax: 5:13pm On Jul 18, 2020
Ohaneze have begun to follow thier cousins at IPOB to swallow all forms of incredulous cock and bull stories. How do you say that an investigation that begain over a decade ago is being influenced by a few person in the last two years... such a joke.
Magu actually never even had an assistant by that name.

PoliticsThe Flurry Of Fake News Amidst Magu's Appeal For Fair Trial. by ojokolax(op): 3:33am On Jul 18, 2020
When Magu, the embattled former chairman of the EFCC was released from detention one of the first things he did was to release a press statement that clearly exonorated the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo of any allegations of 4billion Naira bribe. He also went on to request for a fair hearing at his tribunal.

That mother nature abhors a vaccum is well established so the recent in fighting amoungst the president's cabinet especially that between the Attorney General ond the former EFCC acting chairman is not surprising.

what is though, is the deluge of fake news that been perpetrated from certain quarters via cloak and dagger means. in certain reports it was alleged that;

https://twitter.com/SaharaReporters/status/1284163425590009856?s=19

but shortly thereafter there was a rejoinder to counter that which read;

https://twitter.com/GarShehu/status/1284174070158942208?s=19

as the story further unfolds, here are some of the misinformations that have already been demystified;

(1) Malami alleged that Magu has houses in Dubai. Dubai govt, USA & UK said they are watching ill treatment of magu.

(2) Malami alleged that #550B was stolen by Magu. Accountant General said the money is in CBN.

(3) Malami alleged that Magu stole the interest on #550B. Accountant General said money in CBN does not yield interest.

(4) Malami alleged that Magu sold oil vessel with crude oil. Malami later admitted he personally sold it.

(5) They alleged that Magu gave Falana #28m. They later apologized to Falana for false allegation.

(6) They alleged that Magu gave Vice President Osibanjo N4bn. They later said it was wrong accusation.

(7) They alleged that Osibanjo's daughter bought a plaza in Abuja, the owner of the property latet came out announcing that Osinbajo's daughter is a Tennant of the property.

(coolThey alleged Magu stole money through some BDC & a pastor. It was discovered as false allegation.

(9) They alleged Magu has "boys" in EFCC. They later suspended all EFCC top officials as Magu carry everyone along.

(10) They accused Magu of maltreating a former Head of State, General Abdulsalam and Minister of Defence, General Theophilous Danjuma. They later admitted and apologised that their source failed them as General Abdulsalam negated all claims that his Niger state residence was ransacked by the EFCC.

we are all versed in the biblical saying that the "the Truth shall set you free" as does the Holy Qur'an inform us that "when Truth has emerged, falsehood is vanished".

A lot is to be revealed in this Game of Thrones season 9 we are being served from the stables of Aso Rock, so lets all grab our popcorn and drinks but try as much as possible not to be blindsided by the flurry of fake news from either party.

PoliticsRe: Osinbajo: Beyond The Nostrum by ojokolax: 12:02pm On Jul 16, 2020
Aptly articulated but if there's any pattern discernable at all it's in the accuser's and the accusations.
Within 3 - 5 days of any infractions by public officers made public, any means possible to relate them to the office of the Vice President is sought-after, and they usually stop at nothing until the flimsiest thread is spun just to indicate albeit falsely that Professor Osinbajo might be tainted.
The reason for this though is probably because while all those fingered directly for corrupt practices in the administration are directly associates of Mr President, rant all they want, they'd never get his attention.
They then decided to always gun for the second in command.

PoliticsIt Is Better To Be Envied Than Pitied – Laolu Akande With Dele Momodu Live On Ig by ojokolax(op): 11:46pm On Jul 13, 2020
With us live today the 13th of July 2020, is the Senior Special Adviser to the President, Office of the Vice President having just read his extensive resume. He traveled out of the country in 1998 to further his journalism career in the United States of America, where he was until 2015 when he returned to become the Senior Special Advisor to the Vice President. Can you highlight your involvement with the Nigerians in Diaspora and the relationship to Nigerians at home?

Abike Dabiri has done a great job trying to bridge the gap between those at home and those abroad especially in America, the UK, and some other western countries. But I'm talking hopefully in the nearest future we would be able to have a symbiotic relationship with Nigerians everywhere and they'll be able to vote and have a say in the running of the country Nigeria.

What can you tell us about the activities of the Vice President in conjunction with his constitutional limitations?

Safe to say that without a joke, this is the most active vice president ever with the amount of work he has been saddled with and taking on most of them having had them delegated to him by the President. Anyone familiar with constitution of Nigeria would know that the obligations of the Vice President is limited to being the head of the national economic committee which comprises himself as well as the Governors of the 36 states of the Federation as well as the FCT minister, and then being a member of the National Security Committee, Every other activity that he takes on is ceded to him by the President.
In light of this, it is quite pertinent to know then that he has headed such Committees as NEMA, NDPHC, Power Sector Reform Committee, the Polio eradication Committee and the last but not least the recently approved Economic Sustainability Committee.

In light of this why do people think he has been pushed aside?

it is one of the wonders of the world. It is a very wrong perception and as much as possible we try to put out information on things we are doing. I think because he is an easy-going person people actually tend to expect more from him. He and the President have mutual respect for one another so while the Vice president might be limited by the constitution; his job completion rate is very high.

The Helicopter crash of last February, how did you feel?

It was surreal, one of the first things that I did though ensured that no one was doing any hanky panky recording. There wasn’t any real panic which was good. There was a person calling n Jesus and it only fortified our belief that God actually designed us for this assignment. Persons like Myself and Professor Osinbajo are originally not your regular politicians so we were reinforced to work for the average and common man.

How do you deal with the deluge of fake news?

I would first like to commend the Traditional media who have refrained from hopping in the bandwagon of sensationalism as some persons still try to sustain the integrity of the fourth estate. The rising profile of the VP as a person who connects with the people puts him at loggerheads with those with despicable agendas, who try to smear the characters of those they think, might be against them.
The very first time we had to deal with such was; a couple of weeks upon resumption of the first term and it was alleged that the VP stormed out of a meeting with state governors after a burst up with the Gov. of Kaduna. El-Rufai. Our initial plan was to ignore the insignificant blog that published it but within a week, he was being inundated with phone calls that we had to do a story to counter the lies. There was another incident during the campaign period when it went viral on WhatsApp that he’d resigned.

Do you think they are after him because of future political activities?

Vice President Osinbajo currently does not have any plans right now apart from that one he'd been elected to. As his spokesperson, he’s yet to inform me of any intention to contest the 2023 election at the moment. He simply wants to get the job of the now done.

What would you say is the style of the VP?

One of the many things that has defined him is his active empathy, He believes that it all about the people. There was an occasion where we ran into a protest by a community that was protesting against the Nigerian Army who had taken over parts of their land. He made us get down and with the most minimal of security approached the mob which actually left them stunned. Ultimately, they let us through and upon his return to Abuja he kept his word and there was a sit down between the people and representatives of the Nigerian Army.
There was another occasion that saw protesters camped outside the villa and with the changing weather he asked that we invite them into the villa’s conference center. So his style is one that ensures that he constantly meets the needs of the yearning people.

How does he manage to traverse freely between political parties, ethnicities, and religions?

Since he was previously a pastor, it is quite easy to understand how he sees everyone as equal partners to the cause. Political differences shouldn’t contaminate public service. A good example is how all NPower applicants registered online and didn’t need to know anyone before they were assimilated into the scheme, a first of its kind in Nigeria. The motto is Public good for the many regardless of the bickering few.

What is going to be the lasting legacy of this Administration?

In the area of touching lives of the average Nigerian, the president has done very well especially with the inception of the NSIP’s which include TraderMoni, NPower, Conditional Cash Transfer, Anchor Borrowers, etc. But the COVID 19 pandemic led the President to mandate Professor Osinbajo and the other members of the Economic Sustainability Committee to come up with a plan to ensure that Nigeria bounces back strongly.
This led to the formulation of the Economic Sustainability Plan that has been approved by the FEC and the members of the committee upgraded to the Implementation Committee.
One key sector that will be receiving immediate attention is agriculture. Working in tandem with the 36 State Governments as well as the Federal Capital Territory, the economic sustainability plan seeks to inculcate at least 20 new hectares of Farmland in every state to help push the agricultural Revolution this, in turn, will drastically reduce the rate of unemployment across the country and boost our economy as we would need to import less while exporting more commodities.
The housing sector would also see 300000 houses across the nation within a 1-year span, these houses will be constructed within each State by the occupants of the State. The aim is to employ the indigenes and use materials and products found and located within those States.
The Nigerian people will be informed regularly about this plan. They would also be participants and furthermore, they would help keep an eye out on the level of implementation in their various locals. This stimulus package has been approved and Nigerians need to simply wait for the information from the government on how they can become part of the process.
MSMEs have been the most badly affected by the COVID 19 pandemic, how has the government sought to address this under the sustainability plan?

Half a million MSME jobs are the immediate target under the MSME survival fund. We are looking at helping MSMEs with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 50 employees to survive by paying part of their salaries via the 50 billion MSME payroll support for MSME survival fund.

Another 200 billion interest-free loans will go to artisans to enable them to stay in business. 15 billion off-take fund is also earmarked to help 100000 MSMEs that the government would be the primary consumers of their products. This is to enable the Nigerian people to become more productive. We employ the people to be the watchdogs and account managers in their respective locations to ensure that all these are properly implemented.

The various schemes will be handled by the various Ministries and Agencies that they fall under, for example, the solar power electrification scheme will be handled by the Rural Electrification Agency and Niger Delta Power Holding Company as well as the Ministry of Power, who will all come together to form an implementation committee.

As the implementation committees reach certain milestones, funds will then be released to them. So to answer your question, the monies will not be released wholesome. The survival fund will be disbursed via the Bank of Industry as well as the Ministry of Commerce. The rest will be released through the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Ministry of Finance.

Going by government Bureaucracy, how soon do you see these things happening?
If they do happen do you see him being waylaid by enemies from within and without?

There is a political will to get it done originating from the President himself who has mandated that all members of the drafting committee become the implementation committee members and these would be rolled out pretty shortly via a decentralized system as previously explained.
The enemies come with the territory for even the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent takes it by force. However, greater is he that lies on the part of them that are righteous than he on the side of evildoers. The president is determined to leave this legacy and we are all presently focussed on it.

PoliticsExposing Jackson Ude; Nigeria’s Foremost Slander And Libelous Blogger. by ojokolax(op): 1:24pm On Jul 12, 2020
Outside the Nigerian political Twitter space, few people know the name Jackson Ude. An erstwhile presidential media spokesperson during the Goodluck Jonathan administration, it is noteworthy that one is more likely to recall his name in relation to one of many of his legal skirmishes usually bordering on Libel and blackmail than anything constructively positive.

Jackson Ude, a prominent member of the PDP Dubai Strategy alongside his goons like Reno Omokiri, Timi Frank, etc, along with their principals such as Atiku Abubakar, Yakubu Dogara, Dino Melaye among others were recently the center of social media backlash due to their apparent rolling in the hay with Ramon Olorunwa Abbas aka Hushpuppi and for this reason, they were desperate to divert attention from themselves, even as their money laundering and online fraud friend was being transferred to a US federal penitentiary to answer for his crimes.

Enter Magu, whose arrest made for the silver lining the band of rogues had been waiting for. Jackson immediately went to work on what he does best, lies and slander and who did he have in his crosshairs this time? Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. He began by making fictional claims about fake revelations emanating from the ongoing investigation into the activities of the recently suspended acting EFCC Chairman.
He claimed that Magu gave money to the Vice President amounting to 4 billion Naira, which is not only an irresponsible lie, but a continued smear campaign against Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

Similar to his counterpart in lies; Timi Frank, the first statement by Jackson Ude when the fallacies of his allegations were presented to him, he simply shrugged them off and asked the Vice President to first resign and meet him in court. There must be something that the Peoples Democratic Party is afraid of as regards going up against Prof. Osinbajo in his current political capacity.

Barely hours after seeing his claims against the Vice President negated by none other than the embattled suspended EFCC chairman himself, who said he had no 4 billion in the first place let alone to give to Prof. Osinbajo, than we witness a shift in target but same modus oparandi.
In a tweet he wrote, “How did Kiki Osinbajo, VP Osinbajo’s daughter, earn N800million she invested in the property housing her Glam’d Africa Beauty House in Abuja on 10 Durban Street, Wuse 2. Abuja? Ude had claimed that Kiki owned the building and was probing how she could have had so much money to own such a building.

As is always the case, the veracity of his claim was quickly punctured as soon as Kiki Osinbajo saw the tweet and responded astutely. In response to Jackson Ude’s fraudulent tweet, Kiki took to Instagram to explain that she was only a tenant in the building, urging Nigerians to run checks of the ownership of the building at the Corporate Affairs Commission.

In a disclaimer signed by Dr Ayuba Musa, the said landlord reiterated that the property was never, at any point in time, sold to the Vice President’s daughter or to anyone.
Dismissing Ude’s post about the ownership of the property, Dr Musa said that he remained the rightful owner of the property and that all documents on the house were still carrying his name and challenged anyone in doubt to check with the FCT authorities.

To the few initiated, these his actions are not new, as Jackson Ude and his PointBlankNews medium are not strangers to controversy. He has a long history of spreading falsehood and lies against people with the aim of blackmailing them for money.
As a matter of fact not only has he repeatedly been entangled in such allegations in the past, there have also been convictions and judgments to the tune of 50million as seen in the case against former Minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

Here is a catalogue of some of the fraudulent activities and lies by Ude:
• Not many remember that this element called Ude once tried to dupe former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala after threatening to publish fake news about her ownership of a billion naira mansion in Abuja using Chinua-Ogwu, a dismissed police officer to perpetuate his criminal act.
• Ude also once claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari and late Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, were secretly flown out of Nigeria for COVID-19 treatment.
• This element, Ude also once swindled Mrs Oyindamola Amuka (wife of Uncle Sam Amuka, Vanguard Publisher) of £20,000.00.
• He also once claimed via his Twitter account that former Lagos governor, Babatunde Fashola had been dropped from the list of ministers compiled by President Buhari.
• If that was not enough, he tweeted a picture and wrote categorically that the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele had been sacked.
• He once claimed that the names of Custom and NPA bosses were among the ministerial nominees and in another instance that the leader of proscribed IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu is being detained inside Nigerian Navy warship off the coast in Bayelsa.

From the foregoing, it would be foolhardy for anyone to take the words of a man who has been severely chastised by judges seriously. After a six-year legal tussle, Hon. Justice Chizoba N. Oji gave an order of a perpetual injunction restraining Jackson Ude and Pointblanknews.com from publishing further words defamatory of the plaintiff (Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala) through the defendants’ website or any written medium.

According to court documents, Ude and his blog never appeared in court despite hearing notices served on them. They did not cross-examine witnesses who were thus discharged by the court. It was even reported that they even attempted to settle the case out of court.

Nigerians are enjoined to continuously verify claims and allegations of a dubious nature especially from persons who already have questionable character traits.

Politics*government Is Dedicated To Daily Improvement Of Nigerian Lives by ojokolax(op): 1:18pm On Jul 09, 2020
-Laolu Akande (SSA Media to Vice President Osinbajo)

On the radio talk show HAVE YOUR SAY, which comes up every Thursday by 10am, the Senior Special Adviser to the President, office of the Vice President, fielded questions from the host as well as contributors to the program from across the country via calls and messages. Some of the salient talking points included:

Q: The Federal Government recently approved 2.3 trillion Naira as stimulus plan for the economy due to the Covid 19 pandemic, how is the economic sustainability committee poised to deliver on this mandate?

The President mandated Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and a couple of other key ministers to come up with a plan to ensure that Nigeria bounces back from the economic lull caused by the pandemic. It is pertinent at this point to start that the finances for this economic sustainability plan has been sourced and now we only need to ensure proper implementation of the program that is now taking off by the various implementation committees led by the key Ministers in different Ministries, Parastatals and Agencies.

One key sector that will be receiving immediate attention is agriculture. Working in tandem with the 36 State Governments as well as the Federal Capital Territory, the economic sustainability plan seeks to inculcate at least 20 new hectares of Farmland in every state to help push the agricultural Revolution this in turn will drastically reduce the rate of unemployment across the country and boost our economy as we would need to import less while exporting more commodities.

The housing sector would also see 300000 houses across the nation within a 1 year span, this houses will be constructed within each State by the occupants of the State. The aim is to employe the indigenes and use materials and products found and located within those States.

The Nigerian people will be informed regularly about this plan. They would also be participants and furthermore, they would help keep an eye out on the level of implementation in their various locals. This stimulus packages has been approved and Nigerians need to simply wait for the information from the government on how they can become part of the process.

Q: MSMEs have been the most badly affected by the Covid 19 pandemic, how has the government sought to address this under the sustainability plan?

Half a million MSME jobs is the immediate target under the MSME survival fund. We are looking at helping MSMEs with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 50 employees to survive by paying part of their salaries via the 50 billion MSME payroll support for MSME survival fund.

Another 200 billion interest-free loans will go to artisans to enable them stay in business. 15 billion off take fund is also earmarked to help 100000 MSMEs that the government would be the primary consumers of their products. This is to enable the Nigerian people to become more productive. We employ the people to be the watchdogs and accountability managers in their respective locations to ensure that all these is properly implemented.

Q: the issue of the embattled acting chairman of EFCC, Magu and subsequent allegations on the Vice President, Professor Osinbajo, what have you to say about this?

My official statement on the matter is already out with the populace and I wouldn't be speaking anymore in the matter.

Let me point out though that the job to which the Presidency have been elected to do, is more paramount than the little skirmishes that tend to crop up every now and then in the political environment.

The President and Vice President have the commitment to ensure that the average Nigerian on the street continually has an improvement in their living conditions and they are dedicated to achieving this before the end of their tenure rather than paying attention to rumour mongering.

Q: What is the current security situation in the country?

The Presidency regularly meets with Security Chiefs on a weekly basis and gets information of operations going on around the country as well as the welfare of the personnel sacrificing their lives for the security of the Nation.

Everyone would agree that while we still have random ambush attacks, the situation is a far better cry than what the President met upon assuming office in 2015.

There were at least 15 local governments across two states under the control of the Boko Haram insurgents. Nowadays, their stronghold of Sambisa Forest has been decimated, leveled and the organisation reduced to a band of misfits carrying out guerrilla tactic attacks but every week we hear records of the Nigerian security forces pegging them back and protecting the lives of innocent citizens.

Q: Would the 2.3T naira stimulus package of the Economic Sustainability Plan be released wholesome and has any been disbursed, if yes, how much?

The various schemes will be handled by the various Ministries and Agencies that they fall under, for example, the solar power electrification scheme will be handled by the Rural Electrification Agency and Niger Delta Power Holding Company as well as the Ministry of Power, who will all come together to form an implementation committee.

As the implementation committees reach certain milestones, funds will then be released to them. So to answer your question, the monies will not be released wholesome.

The survival fund will be disbursed via the Bank of Industry as well as the Ministry of Commerce.
It is cogent to reiterate that the survival fund for the MSMEs has already been discussed as part of the 500 billion stimulus package released early during the Covid 19 lockdown. The rest will be released through the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Ministry of Finance.

Let me make this final plea in conclusion, to inform Nigerians that we will make sure to communicate with the people, to keep them informed and in return, we expect feedback as Nigerians need to be the caretakers of the various projects in their locations. Thank you.

While Jackson Ude was an erstwhile presidential spokesperson he only shot to reckoning when he corroborated the tale by Timi Frank that Vice President Osinbajo was involved in a scam involving the immediate past chairman of the FIRS. the lies were so blatant, that the Vice President vowed to ensure that no stone would be left unturned to ensure the prosecution of Timi Frank and all others including mainstream media houses who deleted the false stories and tendered apologies.

The current travails of the embattled acting EFCC chairman, Magu has proven to be cheap fodder with which Jackson intends to employ to help douse the backlash that himself and his principal employers at the PDP are facing from their involvement with Hushpuppi and Woodberry. It is funny though that while they alleged that Osinbajo was given money by Magu, they first refer to it simply on hearsay and that is the only information they have as regards the entire interrogation.

Once a liar always a liar and my mom says the child that lies would steal, so it is no surprise that Jackson has found it hard to deviate from his ways despite having had his nose rubbed in dog poo a couple of times in the past, groveling for his daily bread ensures he goes back to it. Other examples of Jackson doing what he does best are:

1. Ude once swindled Mrs. Oyindamola Amuka (wife of Uncle Sam Amuka, Vanguard Publisher) of £20,000.00.

2. Jackson tried to dupe former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala after threatening to publish fake news about her ownership of a billion naira mansion in Abuja using Chinua-Ogwu, a dismissed police officer to perpetuate his criminal act.

In the month, Jackson Ude has used his website and Twitter account to spread the following lies and falsehoods;

He claimed that Buhari and Abba Kyari were secretly flown out of Nigeria for COVID-19 treatment.

He had also claimed that Babatunde Fashola’s name was missing in the list of the new ministers compiled by President Buhari.

He then dropped another LIE, saying "Buhari has sacked CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele"

There was another that Nnamdi Kanu is currently inside a Nigerian Navy Warship off the coast of Bayelsa.

Contrary to the entire PDP E squad claiming otherwise, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has constantly come out dazzling even brighter from all the allegations of corruption leveled against him and this could only be because he's ensured to desist from such in any guise and form. The house of assembly clearly stated that its investigation into the IDP scandal showed that the Vice President was in no way implicated and gave him a clean bill. the same was what happened with the allegations regarding using FIRS funds to fund the APC campaign of 2019.

The same cannot be said of the PDP stalwarts and their stooges. Ude lacks credibility and he is thoroughly irresponsible. His record of fake news is staggering and can only be matched by other E-rats Reno Omokri and Timi Frank.

It's always so funny when Jackson Ude and his smear campaign team members at PDP HQ concentrate so much on mud slinging hoping that one would eventually stick.
They've got nothing on VP Osinbajo but want to divert attention from their hushpuppi travails.
So sad

Astute leadership with the foresight to mitigate against pending and unexpected future anomalies are the benefits of having Prof Osinbajo head all these critical committees.
A job well done.
