The immediate past Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, is among the dignitaries expected at the coronation of the new Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade.

The chairman of the local organising committee for the coronation, Dr Adekunle Ogunmola, disclosed this during a press conference at Alaafin’s palace, on Thursday.

The coronation, which will hold on April 5, will commence with a week-long activities on March 31.

Trudeau’s attendance may not be unconnected with the fact that Oba Owoade holds both the Canadian and Nigerian citizenship.

Windows Defender is a particle of an anti-virus! I advise you to download new & effective anti-virus! To scan your PC thouroughly for proper running & booting!

With the way you described you laptop, surely "virus clones are building a fortress and your laptop will soon turns to the battle grounds. If you scan it with an antivirus of paid quality, and as well connected to the internet to reinstall to the boot files, that will eradicated to pave way for smooth transition! Spending an average of 750 naira per day (7pm-11pm) per day on fuel to power one's generator is madness and it beats all reasonable economic sense but that is what I do because DISCO have refused to supply electricity. But then, way back in time when we used to go to disco parties, we dance in the dark so it is not a strange thing to have disco putting us in darkness perpetually. I guess they did their home work before coming up with that nomenclature. Lol.
In the course of less than six months, one gen set is down and out completely after repeated use and repeated repairs. The other one has embarked on a journey of no return too. I then made a quick visit to the shop I bought the first gen set from just to window shop ni o. Where is the money to buy that now when all we think about is food food and food. Unsuprisingly the price has jumped from 38 thousand naira to 56k in just less than two years. Is that an AP or GP? Such a hike defies sound logic but they will be quick to tell us to keep sacrificing until we 'peme or kaput'. Sure we want Nigeria to be better but killing people under the guise of sacrifice is exceedingly immoral. No moral justification for that. That reminds me of the court judgement asking PHCN and Fashola to reverse the hike in electricity tariff. Has that judgement been complied with? Imagine Fashola. Fashola of all people! Chai, chai, chai, there is satan o. No wonder he fell out with Asiwaju anyway.
But the sad thing again is the plan by the PPPRA to introduce fuel tax, gas tax, kerosene tax, diesel tax and all other unreasonable taxes.
Well, no problems whatsoever if you do not introduce firewood tax and Bento tax.

This is a Professor of Medicine and a Former Provost of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, and a Former Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan. Surely Prof Adewole must have taught someone who had eventually turned Audiologist, if he is not one himself.
Then, again, he - Elder Buhari has to still go to London UK, to treat
ordinary ear infection? Can you imagine this, recently in my children's school, the school audiologist conducted the routine ear test for all the students, & it was discovered that my neighbor's daughter has low hearing ability due to fluid behind her ear-drum. The parents took her to the hospital & the ear-specialist told them the ear-system could normalize itself, & the fluid could be drained out. He asked the parents not to worry, that after three months they should bring her for another test, & if fluid is still there, then they will need to perform some surgery to drain the fluid & the girl can hear better! Lo and behold, the girl has done the surgery and she is hearing better.
With our President going abroad to treat ordinary ear infectn, I am sure this young girl wouldn't 've had hope, were my neighbors Nigerians living in Nigeria.

Now, tell me if this is not corruption of the mind, & an intentional waste of resources, a frivolous spending and mismanagement of resources (money & time), and unnecessary medical tourism? We could as well scrap the Ministry of Health, altogether?
By the way, I hope Baba Buhari is
paying for the trip from his own
salary? And maybe he should take
some money from his pocket also, to take Professor Adewole and some Nigerian Audiologists along, to go learn how to treat ear infection, such that next time this happens to Elder Buhari, he would be treated at home, in Aso Rock. If he has to pay for the trip from our commonwealth, then he is only slightly different from Dasuki !!! I am sure Nigerian State would pay far lesser, if he treats the ear infection at home, than treating it abroad. The cost of transportation alone would have been avoided! And he could have a post-ear-treatment holiday at Obudu Cattle Ranch! Whenever we have deep thinkers in power, Nigeria will start to get better. I wish the President a quick recovery from his ear infection.
By the way, thank you - Mr President, for the recovery of those loots. We are waiting eagerly to know the looters, whenever you get the appropriate legal advice to do so. Remember, some of the looters
