NYSC / Re: 89% Of Corps Members Can’t Communicate In English -NYSC by Okikiade(m): 8:43am On Oct 12, 2013
Way To Development:Mother-Tongue first(regional communication skills) 2.Universal National Language i.e. Pidgin English as Lingua Franca 3.Diplomatic Language should be English(Brt/Ame) & French! Reason for choosing Pidgin English is the proximity to both the 'educated' and 'illiterate'. Decoding matters in effective communication skills! My case!

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / "I Hate To Admit It,Messi's the Best!"Guti Haz by Okikiade(m): 7:31am On Sep 13, 2013
By Stefan Coerts(goal.com)
Guti, Real Madrid 2005/2006 Real Madrid legend Guti feels Barcelona star Lionel Messi is the best player in the world and believes the Argentina international is more decisive than Cristiano Ronaldo when it matters most.
The 26-year-old has won four consecutive Ballons d'Or and Guti has stressed that the prolific attacker always delivers the goods when his team needs him.
"I can only repeat what I have already said before and that is that Messi is the best in the world at the moment. It pains me to admit it, but it's the simple truth," Guti told Punto Pelota.
"I am not saying that Messi is on another level than Cristiano, though. But he's more decisive at certain moments when the team really needs him. He can salvage a game by himself.
"They are arguably the two best players in the world, but when it comes to my personal preference I must admit that I like Messi more."

It can be a way out to have a confederal education system as well as system of government! SOS to save indigenous cultural values, norms, good customary preaching,self-estimation of African pride! We can also works toward having our own unifying language like Pidgin English! But Queen's English is a far distant language in achieving self-sustaining nation! IMO
Education / Yoruba As Official Teaching Language In South-west Nigeria by Okikiade(m): 12:51am On Sep 07, 2013
According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) which reported that, this proposal was part of the agenda at a meeting on Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) in Ibadan recently.
Yoruba will be adopted as official language of instruction in primary schools of the South-West geopolitical zone. Thus, bringing back the old days;Ibagbepo Eda (Family Living),Litireso Ede Yoruba (Yoruba Literature),Imo Ijinle Sayensi(Integrated Science), etc.
Is this a development tool that will ensure movement towardself-reliant nation;or an instrument of disintegration? IMO, it will save Yoruba Language from going into extinction and also help to improve some area aspect in our cultural upbringing (as a true African, culture matter)!
I know there will be much uproar but it will help in retracing our lost background heritage values! In his own opinion, Dr Olufemi Ajayi, the Vice Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, OAU, “Nigeria’s multi-lingual nature would constitute a challenge”. Apart from diverse ethnic groups, he said there were no adequate human and capital resources to implement the policy but it would be a perfect idea if Yoruba is the only language in Nigeria! Your takes?

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Do Footballers And Sportmen Deserve Higher Wage by Okikiade(m): 7:48am On Sep 02, 2013
Any sport is an art that require more dedication with a higher level of endurance to satisfies those that's watching a sportsmen/women performs! It's an entertainment in which the performance is all about total sacrifice to makes people happy! A football goes through stressful ways to make people forget their problems & be stressless! Scarcity of resources i.e.Messi,CR7 etc.
