You can submit your Canada Student Permit application from anywhere in the world and not necessarily your home country provided that you are LEGALLY staying in the country of your application. You'll be required to include your resident permit of the country as part of the documents required. Pavore9: |

If that doesn't work out, here's what you should do. Does the school upload transcripts online to school application portal? If yes, then get them to upload one on an application portal for a university provided you could download the document afterwards. You could begin an application solely for the purpose of getting your transcripts. You'll send your login details to your school for upload. You can try SciencesPo in France. Their application portal permits download of uploaded documents. Stevenssen: |

Can an upfront be done even after submission of the application online? Thought it could only be done before submission. Would be happy to get clarification. Thanks. Tlontin: |

I think you stand a good chance. You will need a well written Statement of Purpose tying everything together and don't forget to get a study leave approval from your University. ohis30: 2 Likes |

All you need to do is to go with is your passport data page and a passport photograph. On the fees, I've read people pay between 5k to 7.5k. However, I did mine for 3.5k depending on who you meet. Go straight to the forensic section of the CID HQ to get it done. MsAnne20: |

Kingjay007: Interview was mainly about why I chose the school, future plans after school, my thought on law and morality (the interview was in respect of Law in TalTech) etc. The professor that interviewed me said they have all they needed to know about me in my motivation letter, however they need to observe my level of spoken English and that there was no right or wrong answers. Goodluck to everyone yet to be interviewed. Ps: She also said result would be out on Friday. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Onabuchi: Hi Onabuchi, which school did you apply to? Travel group would be a good idea too. Wish everyone applying the best! For those who applied to TalTech and are waiting for an interview date, it's advisable you email them requesting for a date. You will get a response same day or a day after your email. |

ministerblessed: I think it is possible. If you score up to 60% of the grade obtainable in your undergraduate. Your 3.0 actually amounts to 60% if you're calculating with 5.0 scale. |

Godxilla: Yes. I got replies from the two schools I applied to; University of Tartu and TalTech. They're practically saying that my applications passed preliminary review and I meet the general requirements. However, my applications have been forwarded to the respective admissions committee for review. I will get notifications on their decision and if they need more information, I'll be required to participate in an online interview, date of which will be communicated to me. Ps: I applied on 2nd and paid the application fee same week through someone in Germany. That may account for the quick responses I've received so far. 1 Like |

Pesb:I think the process applicable to MA applicants as per visa is applicable to PhD Candidates too. Alternatively, can a phD applicant opt for Schengen visa after gaining admission Response: Going to a Schengen country to apply for a visa and TRP to enter Estonia. Is it possible for a phD student to travel with his spouse(no kids yet) Can one submit both passports for visas and TRP ? Response: Yes Can a private accomodation provided by the university be shared with one's spouse Or is it better to get offcampus accomodation? Response: I think those in Estonia would be in a better position to answer this. Do embassy request for SOA for phD students on full scholarship? If yes! What's the likely balance one should look at?? Response: If one gets the scholarship letter before visa interview I don't think it'll be necessary. However, I read here that they'll still require it at the Estonia embassy. Do they accept fixed deposit investment in the student's name? Response: I doubt if it's acceptable (I may be wrong though). This is because a fixed deposit cannot be accessed till a certain date and the essence of funds is to show that you have access to liquid funds during the program. We are looking at 2019 September intake. G |

shezpwiti: Sure. I can send you one. But your best bet is to answer the questions on the motivation to study the course on DreamApply. You could also check Quora for precedent motivation letter. Kindly note that admission office don't take plagiarism likely. So, I would advise you to be mindful of sharing your motivation letter and also run yours by a plagiarism checker online. Ps: Try to be 100% original. If you're quoting someone, include a citation/reference. 2 Likes |

Hello people, happy new year. Applications officially opens tomorrow. Hope you've got all your docs in tact. A tip on writing motivation letters which I learnt recently is to include that you've reached out to a professor/alumnus/current student of the program who offered more insights on the course. You can thereafter talk about it. Most importantly, the word limit is key. |

Take a bus going to Lekki-Ajah and alight at Bonny Camp. It's less than 5 mins walk from there. Tell them you're going to Walter Carrington Crescent. You have to look properly as there are many embassies there to ensure that you are at the right place. Good luck! olenime: 1 Like |
