i saw this question on quora, asked how the life of a programmer looks like, i saw this scary answer. I am a java programmer, teacher and my daily routine is as follows: Wake up time 5:00 AM -5:15 AM. But my alarm starts ringing from 4:45 AM ![]() Start my bike and go to college to take class starting 6:00 AM. (I take two programming classes between 6 AM – 8 AM) Go to office directly from college reach 9:00 AM. 9–9:15 AM take breakfast in my desk ordering from tandoori dhaba. (I always eat chapati as breakfast.) Till 9:45 AM I check my email, slack, JIRA dashboard. (I have an account in Facebook and Instagram but don’t check those accounts nowadays but I used to check few years back. I don’t chat in Whatsapp, viber and so on.) Between 10:00 AM – 10:15 AM attend daily stand-up meeting. Write program and search in google/stack overflow if any till 01:00 PM. Lunch between 01:00 PM - 02:00 PM. Back to desk and do same as no. 7 till 06:00 PM. Leave office and reach home between 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Between 8 PM - 9:30 PM prepare dinner, talk with my parents via phone call who are staying far away from me. Check my personal email, Linkedin profile and do research till 11:30 PM. Prepare lesson plan till 12:30 AM. (Because I have to take class tomorrow morning.) Sometimes I check student’s assignments/answer sheets. If college is leave I read books, news in this times. Go to bed after 12:30 AM. And starts ringing my alarm from 4:45 AM. Note: I am big fan of cricket. If there is a cricket match and Indian cricket team is playing my routine does not work. ![]() |
nursennenny:Can you explain better? |
leksmedia:All these things, they'll never hear, some peoples life history is public on facebook, Phone number, where they work, relationships, almost all their pictures, schools they attended.. too much info in the open on social media |
If she's really a blogger, then serves her right.. that's how all these mumu Nigerian gossip bloggers will be publishing fake/copied & paste stories and tarnishing people's images all in the name of some stupid miserable cents from Google AdSense!! |
midfinger:lol.. Naso my brother |
princechurchill:A woman that will always cook a soup like that one in the pix the op shared here for the average Nigerian husband probably doesn't Wang him to succeed in life. |
TonyeBarcanista:Thought it was something like, "jejely", or "kukumah".. i don't know what these mean too, but their usage gives it meaning i can't define. Lalastica Mynd44 |
tuscani:Hahahaha... In SS2 we dreaded our geography teacher like a disease, and just 4 of us did the subject because we could endure the teacher... at the end, i came 3rd out of 4... My uncle; studied geography was very proud of me.. on my result, number of students --- 47 ![]() |
TonyeBarcanista:lol, African parents for you oo.... and what's the meaning of "Tamunotonye", thats one hell of a word bro |
Tadeknkeepcalm:Hahahaha.. That was FUNNY... lol |
While this might look like an inappropriate post, actually it is (a bit), but fun. When we were kids, it's sure that at a point in time you'd say the most annoying thing at the most inappropriate time, and indirectly fire shots at your parents. I'll share mine so you know what i mean. I was 8 then, i remembered i always followed my Dad to the bank, he'll encourage me to fill a deposit slip (teller) and We'd take the money to one particular banker that liked me, and as a lil boy you know the man always gave me money (which i accepted because i know him). So, this day, my dad said he'd go see the manager while i fill the teller and pay to *our banker*.. I was feeling all fly when i filled it and bounced to the banker, then i wasn't so tall, so i jumped and put the money on his counter. After i paid i was waiting for my entitlement (for the man to give me money actually), soon my Dad came to my side, so i asked the man directly when we were about leaving. "Ain't you giving me something today?", the man was like.. "Young Man, do i look like father Christmas?" and my dad was like "this kid, when did you become Judas (Iscariot). I instantly remembered what we were taught in CRK, so i blurt out in popular kids fashion (annoying and all that).." At least Judas was paid for betraying Jesus, and was even paid 500 silver coins IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW (forgotten how much actually)" Everyone laughed, and some people gave me money (I accepted because my dad was there) My dad didn't laugh. We got home and he told me to bring a turning stick (for making eba)... The rest is now history. If you liked it share your own story, spread the fun. |
I didn't do any of the stuffs you mentioned, just behave normal, and everything will flow along and know who you move with very well... that's my code ![]() And one more thing, don't over enjoy yourself because 1st semester dey always shock people like thunder.. |
Earth2Metahuman:Lol, you're very funny, the human race is just 1.5M years old and we are already having severe environmental problems, where as dinosaurs existed for 50M years plus.. Just so you know, we haven't gotten far and already nearing danger, from environmental degradation to terrorism, coupled with the negative effects of massive industrialization. |
Your refferee code indeed |
front page since 2016?? but we constantly see some stupid BBnaija and the rest there everyday... inspiring ones like this would just die off but for resonable people that dig em back up like the guy that did this one... nice one op.. you're inspiring. |
NubiLove:people are making tons of cash with affiliate marketing, but the op is giving it a bad name, how can you sell a full guide to affiliate marketing for N2,999 or N10,000 for Gods sake... i know it will never be comprehensive, there are a ton of websites which i'm sure would offer what the op has to times 2, i wont mention name so as not to spoil market for the op, but selling what would make people millionaires for just 10k? com'on a course with this your description from one of my most trusted internet marketers goes for more than $500, and he's not even a crazy like very established marketer. if it were the likes of N patel or P flynn they offer you a ton of stuffs for free, but there detailed courses go for more than $1000. op hope you wont get annoyed (you probably should) but that amount is too small if truly you're gonna provide that much value to make almost everyone who buys your ebook successful. |

mumuupikin:Lol, scum kid |
mumuupikin:You're fucking right, I'm not popular cause I'm not a keyboard warrior neither will i open a thread and keep track of anyone who opens it. That's the greatest height of joblessness. Replying you is already making me feel 'jobless'

Sanemind:he's excuse is the necklace! |
So they've been dating for 1year now. The way he talked about the girl made it look as if she was the best girlfriend he'd ever had, even though most times his relationship talks annoys me. But i still like their union, because the dude it a very razy person and ever since they've been together he's been dropping some of his ugly habits like skipping numerous classes. Even though I don't like the girl in person i just liked the impact she had in his life. So last month, he started running 2babes packages, but he kept on telling me that he loved that babe so much (even though i hate relationship talks) that he might even marry her after they grad. So yesterday night the razy dude told me he's broken up with her. WTF!! Me: what for Him: she too dey Bleep up Me: how Him: i bought her a quite expensive necklace and she gave some dude and when i asked her she said "you've given it to me na, it's mine so i can do what i like with it'. Let me describe the girl; Quite beautiful, not with the perfect character, but she's one of those ladies that live a lowkey life, always at home (lives with her parents) when outta school, And not those rubbish hoes that keep on demanding heaven and earth form their bfs in fact she rejects most of his gifts and kind gestures except when he persuades her well to receive them which was probably the case with the necklace. I don't know why a dude would have that kind of babe and still say she's fucking up. I really hate the fact that he broke up with her mainly because he's her first love, but i dont know wtf he did it. And he's still insisting that she deserves it. Nairalanders pls what do you think of this dude. please don't pick me out on this, he's my best friend and I'm no more fucking understanding him. leave your comments. modified: is the necklace excuse really worth the breakup?? |

(which i accepted because i know him).
