PoliticsPmb Begins Payment Of Pensions To Biafra Soldiers, Police Officers by olabisimichael(op): 4:53pm On Oct 18, 2017
…PTAD commences payment Friday

Succour has come the way of police officers who served in
the defunct Biafran Police during the 30 months Nigeria Civil war as President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the payment of pension to the police officers who were granted presidential pardon in 2000.

The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD)
Wednesday announced that about 162 of such retired police
officers and 57 Next of Kin of those who have died will be
paid their pension benefits in the first phase of the payment
with effect from Friday, October 20, 2017 in Enugu.
A statement from the management of PTAD said after their
pardon, a verification exercise was conducted for them by
the defunct Police Pension office and recently by PTAD and
the Police Service Commission.

The statement reads: “The general public would recall that
Nigeria witnessed an ugly civil war between July, 1967 and
January, 1970 and as a result of that unfortunate period in
our history, some members of the Armed Forces, the
Nigeria Police and paramilitary officers who took part with
the Secessionist were dismissed from the service.
“The dismissal of those officers was commuted to retirement
in the year 2000 through a Presidential Amnesty granted on
29 May, 2000 by the Administration of the then President,
Olusegun Obasanjo.

“A verification exercise was conducted for the pardoned
officers by the defunct Police Pension Office and recently
PTAD on one hand and the Police Service Commission on
the other.

“Despite the Presidential pardon and verification of these
officers, many of them remained unpaid years after the
pardon. However, the present administration under the
able leadership of President, Muhammadu Buhari has
graciously given approval for the payment of pension
entitlements to these officers and their Next of Kin.
PTAD is commencing the payment of pension benefits to the
retired war affected police officers on Friday October 20,
2017 in Enugu. 162 officers will be payrolled and 57 Next of
Kin who have also not been paid their death benefits will be who have also not been paid their death benefits will be

Its time you start chopping the real food. Tell her to serve the pvssy on clean broken plate with fwesh juice.

As I'm typing this, tears are dropping.

Last night was the best time I ever had with my bae. She was away for some months, came back all looking more beautiful, pvssy added weight, assx got 2 packs.

Down to business, as usual, eating her pvssy is what she dont mind paying me to do every bed time.

After the fwesh shower, she lay down, I buried my head inside. Jeez, pvssy was so damn delicious. Like what the hell did she put inside, I was eating the pvssy and crying. Tears of joy, never had it that good. She placed her right hand on my head consoling me "baby its okay, stop crying, eat all you want, its all yours""

I felt as if baba finally gave her the jazz to tie my destiny.

After a while I was forced to use my phones torch to check inside the pvssy, to be sure of what's buried inside that made it to be that sweet.

If you ain't sucking your bae pvssy yet, your missing. Suck the damn soul outta her

PoliticsNigerian Army Free Vaccination And Avoidable Uproar In Anambra State by olabisimichael(op): 9:33pm On Oct 11, 2017
It is important that people understand that military is not always about gun blazing and show of force. The military the world over is imbued with the part that engages in military humanitarian assistance for people. Military is not only about battlefield. Military globally are known as humanitarians and First Responders in crisis situation

The Nigerian Army medical intervention in Anambra state is
another unfortunate yet avoidable crisis if the army high
command had observed basic communication model of
involving opinion leaders in the designated communities
and schools! .

It is called Two-Step flow in development parlance! This is
the use of Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), originated from the
studies of influence in the 1940s by communication theorist,
who was cynical about how much the mass media directly
shaped the
public’s views.

He and his students established that, in some areas, people
changed their views and preferences more because of
trusted figures in their community or their networks or in
trusted opinion personalities more than the forces of mass
media advertising which can be deceptive and
embellishment of values!

No doubt, the Nigerian Army vaccination/medical outreach
would not have generated the uproar that dogged it had the
basic communication model of getting key opinion leaders
involved, prep them on the sincerity of the advocacy and
create a favorable communication outpost for the
communities who hitherto have unfriendly perception about
anything in Army Uniform!

I will not blame ignorance on the part of the parents,
schools and communities neither will I blame the parents
that took their children/wards and prevented them from
being vaccinated! I will blame the military for not doing a
professional job of engaging the community and earning
their trust before extending medical assistance to these
communities!

EducationGovernor Amosun;politics Of Succession And Education Policy by olabisimichael(op): 3:50am On Oct 11, 2017
The Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun is determined to go ahead with the changing of name and location of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to Moshood Abiola University of Technology at the detriment of the education sanctity of the students, prospective students, staff and unions in the polytechnic community!
It is instructive to opine that the decision to move Mapoly to Ipokia and make present site of Mapoly in Ojere for the newly approved Mautech is a political tool which the governor is deploying without calculating the cost such a decision will cost the school, students, community and his perception among the electorates!
To start with, education funding is messy in Ogun state, a reputed to have the highest numbers of higher institutions in Nigeria, It is instructive to note that these institutions are self funded and survive through internal generated mechanism to stay afloat! This begs the question why the need for additional institution? This question, only the governor can confidently answer and it has been suggested in close quarters that the decision is political rather than advancement of technical education in Ogun state. The state is on the verge of electing a new governor and it is with our polity, incumbent governors want to have a successor sell able to the electorate and such is the decision to move Mapoly to Ipokia to placate the people of Yewa region. Such a move will further strengthen the change of electing his successor as it is suggested that the lucky successor is likely from the Yewa region of the state.
Why sacrifice the substance of education over political arithmetic? Mapoly has been an established institution of technical education synonymous with Ogun State, The school has produced movers and shakers of industries in Ogun State and Nigeria among whom is Governor Amosun.
Since he became governor of the state and on the strength of the development stride he has added to the state, truncating the education process of teeming youths schooling in Mapoly is the bad reference to his achievement.
The higher institutions in the state are self
funded! Many of the institutions are run on internal
generation and next to nothing from the state coffers! Now
on the politics of name change from Mapoly to Mautech, the governor derailed on critical aspect of such a decision! He added another institution to the over stretch institutions of higher learning in state, instead of locating a good spot for the new institution, he ordered the new to take over the
location of an existing school then ordered Mapoly to move
to Ipokia! What a reckless decision influenced by political
consideration rather than the aloof immortalization of a
name or advancement of technical education in Ogun State!
Critical inquest shows that most of the courses NBTE granted Mapoly the accreditation were done based on available learning facilities the agency saw in Mapoly for instance, science studies need laboratories, mass communication studies need PR/Radio/TV/Press room and studios!
Same with all courses in Mapoly. They all have one element of practical facilities to aid learning on whose strength they got accredited by NBTE! Moving this courses to Ipokia means another round of accreditation by NBTE because
accreditation aren't transferable! Why not set up your pipe-
dream of creating university of technology in the name of
Abiola in Ipokia? Why disrupt academic progress of a self
sustained school? Stopped it from admitting new students
just because you are running against political storm in doing something in Yewa region of the state? Why putting forth a school haphazardly in Ipokia without order, process and time needed to do the right just because your time is limited and your choice of successor is high on the political
consideration and hell to whatever could such consideration could affect? Amosun is becoming a wrecking ball just because of successor politics!

PoliticsRe: James Ibori Makes PDP Convention Committee Membership List by olabisimichael: 12:34pm On Aug 11, 2017
voiceoftheupcom:
IBORI MAKES A COMEBACK WITH PDP CONVENTION C’TEE MEMBERSHIP

Former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori was listed as member of the national convention planning committee for tomorrow’s special convention of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), EYES OF LAGOS findings have revealed.

Ibori, who was recently released after serving a four-year jail term in a British prison was listed as No 41 in the main organizing committee of the party.

Tomorrow’s non- elective national convention is meant to extend the tenure of the Makarfi-led NCC to enable them conduct the elective convention which is speculated to hold in November.
The convention is also billed to see to the amendment of the party’s constitution.

Ibori who has not attended any political meeting at the national headquarters since he returned to the country, was, however, absent at the inaugural meeting of the committee last Wednesday.

His successor and Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa is the chairman of the committee. Reacting to the development, former media aide to Ibori, Mr Tony Eluemunor, argued that Ibori’s nomination in the committee was normal and that he had not left the party.

The media aide stated that the former governor was equally invited to the last National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, even though he didn’t attend.

“It is a privilege given to every former PDP governor. Ibori is a former governor and he has not left PDP. So, there is nothing unusual in his name being included in the list. He was invited to the last NEC meeting but he did not attend,” he said.

Eluemunor, however, noted that he would not be able to confirm if the former governor will be at the convention.

Meanwhile, elder statesman and former federal commissioner for information, Chief Edwin Clarke, has warned that the Sen Ahmed Makarfi -led National Caretaker Committee (NCC) should not be allowed to exceed three months in office.

Clarke who recalled that he has warned that party in 2014 not to impose candidates urged the party to jettison a practice where governors, government functionaries and candidates provide logistics and convey delegates to Abuja and other voting locations.
Clarke also advocated the adoption of direct primaries ahead of the elective convention, just as he declared his support for zoning of the party’s 2019 presidential ticket to the North and the national chairmanship seat to the South.

He, however, insisted that all party members from those regions are free to contest those positions.
The former PDP chieftain who declared his resignation from partisan politics after the 2015 general election justified his warning to the party on the grounds that he remains a statesman and stakeholder in the Nigeria project, and has been contributing to the peace and development of the country.

He said, “I have observed the Constitution of PDP and the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) and wish to state as follows. Senator Ahmed Markarfi’s Caretaker Committee should be given at most, another three months to allow new executives and other organs of the party to be elected. Any time longer than three months will not be in the best interest of the party and its members.

“If Presidential election is to take place in February 2019, the minimum time required by an elected executive will not be more than 12 months to settle down. If there are interested members of the Caretaker Committee for elective positions, such as President, Senator or Governor, such persons should not remain in office as members of the Caretaker Committee for more than three months.

“On the Zoning of Presidency and Chairmanship of the Party, Clarke, who endorsed the post-election and reconciliation committee led by deputy senate president, Sen Ike Ekweremadu Committee Report which zoned the presidency to the North, and the National Chairmanship to the South”.

He added: “Let all Presidential aspirants from the 19 states of the North be subjected to one Primary, whereas, all National Chairmanship candidates from the 17 States of the South be subjected also to one Primary to contest together, so as to produce the best candidate, to practicalize democracy.

“Nigeria’s Democracy, as a State Policy in Nigeria is expressed in Chapter 2, section 14 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) and shall be stated based on the principles of Democracy and Social Justice.

“It is hereby accordingly declared that: (a). Sovereignty belongs to the people of Nigeria from whom Government, through this Constitution derives all its powers and authority.
“The participation by the people in their government shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution. Governors and other functionaries of government should not impose Candidates or delegates from their States.

“This was my warning in 2014, when I issued a press statement that PDP will destroy itself through the imposition of candidates, and that was what happened, when the then National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Muazu and then incumbent governors imposed unpopular candidates on the electorate.
“A situation where governors, government functionaries and candidates provide Logistics and convey delegates to Abuja and other voting locations should be jettisoned. I strongly recommend that direct primary election should be adopted where delegates would be made to vote at their localities, where no one will take advantage of and manipulate them.
“In order words, the recommendations of Prof Jerry Gana led- committee should be implemented”.
In a related development, chairman of the convention committee and Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has said the party is set to welcome high profile Nigerians defecting from other parties Okowa stated this while inspecting the Eagles Square, venue for the convention.

He said, “We just came to see what is on ground; I believe that our people will be safe because we have everything under control. we are not expecting any hitches at all.
“We are doing very well as a party and as a committee, in this kind of planning you will have some challenges here and there but there are solutions being proffered for everyone of it and we are confident that we are on the right track and it shall be well on Saturday”.
He assured that high profile Nigerians will join the party within the next three weeks, He said, “This is a new PDP and with the excitement we saw after the Supreme Court victory, we did see amongst Nigerians and not only PDP followers, I believe that a lot of people who thought that the party was going to implode by itself will realise that we are back alive and ready to offer what it takes to better the lives of Nigerians.

“Many of our members that left earlier due to one form of disagreement or the other will return back to their party because the National Caretaker Committee has has constituted a Reconciliation Committee as well as a Contact and Mobilization Committee to reach out to them.
“From the way things are going presently in this country, I believe Nigerians will realise that PDP is the only alternative that can bring Nigeria out of her present economic challenges”.
In a related development, national chairman of the party, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, has assured members of the party that the issues relating to the South West zone of the party have been resolved.
He said, “In politics, there are always issues but what is important is that we sit down and resolve the issues in a civil manner.

“Yesterday, we had a long meeting with the leaders from the zone to resolve the issues and no matter what you are doing as a political party you must lose some members and also gain others. As a party, we will continue to work hard not to lose anybody, but will work much harder to bring in more members to the party”.

I understand it might be hard for you to overlook it, and you want to send a strong signal to other staff, but please just listen to 'Holy Pass' by Tuface and take a cold bottle of Hero beer; you'd be fine.

If you want this to stop, just increase their pay and give them more incentives.
Why are they on salary if the cost of service belongs to them? I think the man should deduct the money double from their salary! Send them home without pay for 2 weeks! That will send signal to others! Please don't sack them abeg

PoliticsRe: Buhari Voted Against A Nigerian Becoming Oau Sec-gen In 1985 'cause Of Tribe by olabisimichael: 4:02pm On Feb 24, 2017
Analysiscorner:
BUHARI VOTED AGAINST A NIGERIAN BECOMING OAU SECRETARY GENERAL IN 1985 BECAUSE OF TRIBAL CONSIDERATIONS,AND GAVE HIS VOTE INSTEAD TO SOMEBODY FROM NIGER[A FULANI LIKE HIM]. PLEASE, READ ON.

Between 1983 and 1985, Peter Onu of Nigeria was Acting Secretary-General of the OAU. At the 1985 Summit in Addis Ababa, statesmen like Julius Nyerere, President of Tanzania, lobbied for his election as substantive Secretary-General. However, there was a major stumbling block to Peter Onu’s candidature: his Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, was campaigning against him.

Buhari claimed: “This generation of Nigerians and indeed future generations have no other country than Nigeria.” But when the crunch came, his allegiance to Nigeria disappeared. In the election of the OAU Secretary-General in 1985, Buhari voted against Nigeria and for Niger instead. He secured the election of Ide Oumarou, a Fulani man from Niger; as opposed to an Igbo man from Nigeria. By so doing, Buhari became the first and only Head of State in the history of modern international relations to vote against his country in favour of his tribe.

Years later, General Buhari marched all the way from Daura to Ibadan to demand of Oyo State Governor, Lam Adeshina: “Why are your people killing my people?” Again, he was not referring to Nigerians as his people. Instead, he was an advocate for the rights of murderous Fulani herdsmen who killed Yoruba farmers that objected to their cattle grazing on their land and damaging their crops. This same Buhari who voted against Nigeria in 1985, and said in 2003: “Muslims should only vote those who will promote Islam,” is now shopping for votes nationwide. He should be rejected outright.

Ignorance running riot

If APC had wanted to be taken seriously, it would have come up with a better presidential material than Buhari. There is something anomalous about a party whose mantra is change, recycling a 73 year old man as its candidate for the president of modern Nigeria. Buhari has little or no understanding of public policy. That is why APC will always come up with some excuse or the other not to have him participate in a debate with Jonathan. Buhari fought corruption by imposing ridiculous 300-year sentences on offenders. He fought exam malpractices by imposing 24-year prison sentences on school children.

He dealt with indiscipline by flogging people to queue at bus-stops. He dealt with food shortages by sending soldiers to break into private warehouses and shops. He fought trade imbalances by taking Nigeria back to the stone age of trade by barter (counter-trade). He sought to extradite a Nigerian from Britain by drugging and crating him.

There is so much about Buhari ending the Boko Haram insurgency as he did the Maitatsine insurgency in the 1980s. But the General needs to be advised that Boko Haram is not Maitatsine. Maitatsine was in two towns: Boko Haram is in three states with spillover effects into others. Maitatsine fought with bows and arrows: Boko Haram fights with sophisticated weapons. Maitatsine was a local insurgency, Boko Haram is an international phenomenon.

Anti-corruption hypocrisy: Buhari does not know what corruption means and how to fight it. He became Nigeria’s Head of State through the corruption of a coup d’état and he then tried to fight corruption with corruption. Imposing retroactive decrees and killing Nigerians under them is corruption. Putting an Igbo vice-president in Kirikiri, while placing the Fulani president under palatial house arrest, is corruption.

Detaining people like Michael Ajasin in jail, even after they were discharged and acquitted by kangaroo courts, is corruption. Jailing journalists for telling the truth is corruption. Putting pressure on a judge in order to jail Fela Anikulapo-Kuti is corruption. Shepherding 53 suitcases of contraband unchecked through Customs during a currency change exercise is corruption. Swearing an affidavit that your school-leaving certificate is with the military when it is not, is corruption.....

Another lie from those rewriting the anti-buhari narrative! Peter Onu is from Bendel, present day Benin/Delta! He was Secretary General on 2 consecutive year and never up for election! He was not on the ballot paper! Peter Onu at the time did not contest because it was largely agreed that the post should be ceded to a Francophone countries! Beside that big financiers of OAU were also excluded from putting up personalities for the elective post! Countries like Libya, Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria were excluded because the renew of Peter Onu's interim tenure did not enjoyed wide support from the franchophone countries! Buhari was just following the rules collectively agreed upon by the super power to cede to post to a lesser country!
