Very well said , I joined this thread in part 5 and I read from part 2 , we all should try and read this thread , from what I see , I can sense selfishness people continuously asking questions and never giving back on here , in part 2-5 , the visa interview transcripts , tips and a whole lot of useful information , helped me through this process , and I’ll be here to give back , but we all have to sustain the culture of giving back to the system , aside admission which seems like the only thing talked about here getting the visa interview and eventually AM and visa is another major hurdle , let’s all be our brothers keeper and share more information here and when we eventually get to Deutschland check back on here as frequently as you checked when you needed help to assist others . It’s busy but we all know how to make out Time for important things .

Finally AM landed
Having forwarded the confirmation I got from ausländerbehörde Heidelberg to the German mission Nigeria this morning 8am I got a response with my AM
Interview date : 20th February 2019

AM : 8:23am 8th April 2019

It says travel health insurance (plus one photocopy) what photocopy if I may ask
Can anyone guide me through what and what exactly must be enclosed in the envelope

Please what is the latest on your situation?? Don't you think you should go to the embassy in person, tell Paulinus about the issue, you might be shocked to discover that they are done with it but it is dumped at one office or the other.. Considering that schools have started already, pray and take proactive measures.. Thank you.. My idea though.

Still waiting , no news from the Embassy yet , I called and the lady asked if it was up to 8 weeks I would have to wait until up to 8 weeks before I can lay a complain

Even if it’s batch by batch this particular batch has taken quite a while , have you emailed your Alien office ?, however I’ve still not gotten the AM , that’s all I got from the alien office , so don’t know why I’ve not gotten one from the embassy

My extended enrollment deadline is not far again 12th April. I don't think school will extend further.

The wait is something else interview was 20th February , I emailed my alien office on 27th and got a response from them on Friday stating they have transmitted my approval via online to the Nigerian embassy on 25.03.19 , don’t know what exactly how long it takes after the alien office responds but up until now still no AM

Good day house , I had my interview 20th February still not gotten AM , funded before interview ,school - SIU Heidelberg, Baden-wurtemburg , paid school fees , cut off is 02 May .
Or do they delay AM based on cut off date ? Just wondering

Your subjective opinion bro, I haven't even seen one person in this case and two to three people compared to so much more doesn't make it a common thing. I am very sure there's more to the story of "no sustenance means, got extension and permit" (do you even know there's a certain fee for extension and permit?) You're not telling or you don't know. These processes were put in place for a reason; their ultimate aim isn't to shut people out obviously or they won't grant visas at all and there's even the undeniable high approval rate.

I had my visa interview today , I arrived the embassy at 5:50am I was the third on the line at that time , and then Paulinus did his usual,in my own opinion I’ll say he is doing a good job but he’s quite frustrated you can tell from the look on his face , he’s quite overboard to think he sent me to the end of the line because he wouldn’t listen and understand what I was trying to tell him about withdrawing some additional accommodation paper from my addmission letter which was in a file as I received it and only made photocopies and decided to submit the originals the way I was given but frustration won’t let him understand , please you all should ignore that man and don’t let him distort anyone with his frustration, he actually has no say whatsoever there , anyways fast forward to transcript after I got through

VO very calm friendly guy at the counter 2 heard someone call him Raphael, had a very good interview session with him he asked the follow questions below :

What do you know about Germany ?

Why that course ?

Why the school ?

Why the city ?

Why not any other country ?

What was your undergraduate thesis ?

What do you intend to do after your study in Germany ?

Quite simple and straight forward questions which I answered clearly

However I talked very slowly so he could type and we had a seemingly smooth interview more like conversations

Certification at the embassy is very easy.... Just go there with the photocopies of your documents and the originals.
The German woman doing it will cross check your originals. Make sure arrange your documents as instructed on the checklist.... You will submit in the morning and be asked to come back by 2pm.

I certified five sets of application documents Today.

Please is this certification for addmission only or visa interview

People o. My transcript for today's interview. Let me be comical like everyone

So, I landed in Lagos on Thursday night. Stayed in integrity homes for 14k...rude reception as if we begged to stay in the hotel. Did a lot of document sorting (I have been sorting documents for over 2 weeks now cos of Uncle Paulie....I cross checked and re-read infos about my school course Germany and Berlin. It was quite overwhelming.

Sha, got to the embassy around 5:30, forgot I had printed out my appointment letter o, I sha did that. Those people wanted to take 3k for one colored print out. Ah them be scam o. Sha paid 2k. The 2k had to come out from my Visa money. I still believed I was okay as I had 30k with me. Sha, me and my uncle went to Germanys embassy area o, my mind sha told me to ask how much be visa fee now, one security man sha told me 34k. Omo, I panic. those mopo people and bro paulinus started harassing me and my uncle, oga paulie even asked them to take note of me if I come back late cos I left to go and withdraw. Sha, I got the 4k plus around 6:20 and i was still the first person apart from one girl who is prolly there for another visa reason. Sha, oga paulie sha started his usual. Calling out documents and how to arrange them, abusing me for not doing it well. sha making me panic. But he never sent me back o. The man favored me. When he now even sent another guy back, I knew it was favor cos he had corrected me more than that guy. Sha, went in and was the first to be interviewed

Security will always ask if theres anything for the boys, don't give them poo. You don't know who is watching.

For those who had interview today, I was the guy on pink and a black tie. Lightskinned brother.

Please don't panic o, you might naturally do but calm down, be slow when answering questions so she can type, listen to brother paulie carefully when arranging documents to avoid yabs and watch how he places your documents. Be the first to get there. So go very early. It helps. Cos when paulie starts with you on document arrangement, he won't be able to send you back Especially if you are the only student visa applicant at that moment. By the time 3 people came, I was already far with my arrangement and I had understood what he expected so there were fewer mistakes and he couldn't send me back

I believe I have gotten the Visa already. I speak in faith.

I booked last night around 2am with the mail method and got response from the embassy at 7.40am today.

My appointment was fixed at 20th of February.

Hello everyone I’ve applied for study in Germany and gotten addmission already to Schiller international university , I also paid the school fees already,as it’s a private school, however I’m in the process of getting my blocked account set up , I just submitted my Deutsche Bank account application to the embassy , but I’d like to know if fintiba is equally acceptable/ relevant as the Deutsche Bank cause I don’t know how long this would take , having now discovered that it might be a problem landing a visa interview , also after the interview how long does it take to get the visa if granted , also what else do I need to do towards my visa interview , or what documents do I have to certify as it’s a little bit all confusing , I have the addmission already , and all documents checklist for the visa interview , so do I have to certify this documents before my interview at the German embassy ? Or not ? Or so I just get the blocked account and go for the visa interview ? I’m set to resume in May , I tried checking for visa interview dates but non was available on their website , can someone please help me through this process I’ve been doing it all alone since November and I just discovered this thread , help please all opinions and contributions would be appreciated .
