Very interesting...

APC now understands the dangers this coalition poses to them.

It's obvious they are very jiltery at the coalition. Hiw best can one explain the rationale behind such statement if fear has not spread across their camp.

The right thing to do, at this time, is for Obi to run as Atiku's vice. For that's the surest path to igno presidency... And the only way apc can ve wrestled out of power...
Good points bro but Obi is recalsitrant. I can't fathom someone of Obi's caliber not to read between the lines and listen to the voice of reasoning. The same way he calculated very wrongly and helped APC's victory in 2023 is how he's going about it towards 2027. Very unfortunate..

I think he is right on this.
I don't see any reason to vote for Atiku just because Obi may be his running mate, that will be a repeat of the 2019 elections.
2027 with Atiku and Obi is not the same scenario with that of 2019. They will contest against Tinubu, not Buhari.

Thank you. He will even become president if he stoops low by taking VP role first.

For once I agree with keyamo cose personally as an obedient I will withdraw my support since I know fully well that P. O will not get the power to perform as he should as V.P
Even if he doesn't get the power as VP, without necessarily conceding he won't, that's his sure pathway to become president in future.

Actually, he isn't, with Atiku, there is zero chance they will win.
That's your opinion. Not the opinions of knowledgeable Nigerians who know what Atiku can bring to the table. His track records as VP are there for you to see.

This man should go and rest. We are in this condition today because of him , Tinubu won 2023 election because of obi running from one party to another in search of presidential ticket and if time is not taking Obi is going to make Tinubu and his boys win second term

Obi is more than desperate
God bless you. I am pleased.

As things stands today. Even if Obi wins the nomination of ADC he will loose the general election.

Atiku and Obi must find a way to work together to have a chance at defeating Tinubu. Otherwise it will be another lamentation after election
You're very correct, that's the most sensible thing to do but Obi's so-called mob but mindless supporters would push him to political oblivion.

Hypocrisy stinks than rotten eggs.

The mere mention of Atiku Abubakar’s name shows you all are helplessly hopeless, u have no candidate in 2027.
The same way nobody wanted to hear the name of Tinubu in 2023 but he became president.
My friend, this is not about sentiment or emotion, no other candidate North or South can match Atiku's national popularity.as at today. Virtually all the factors that worked against his victory in the past are now in his favour.

Now obi can't go back to LP cos wike n abure are allies n as for ADC, na atiku get d ticket that's if them never buy nwosu
Even if Nwosu is bought, I believe Atiku will still have plan B unless he decides not to contest The bottomline is that Obi cannot defeat Tinubu as a presidential candidate in 2027 nomatter the packaging and alliance with any northern VP candidate . It's an exercise in futility just like 2023

INEC cannot even hide it anymore.
It's an eye opener to those claming they won the 2023 presidential election but rigged out. Only a coalition with popular candidate (not mob popularity but the one with national spread) stands a chance of countering Inec and APC machinations. As at today, only Atiku fits that description and stands far above the rest.

Okay. Why are you then crying more than the bereaved. You should be happy. Tinubu will be declared president unopposed. Why is he still sending Gbaja and Co to go beg the North? Didn't he check the INEC website?
Don't worry, any good student of Nigeria's political history would never be bothered about the possibility of only one party going into an election unopposed in Nigeria. Any person or group of persons that try it would have themselves to blame. Even the military tried it under Abacha, the rest is now history. Just allow Inec and the ruling class to continue with their macabre dance.
PoliticsRe: Lere Olayinka Reacts As INEC Lists Nwosu, Abure As ADC, LP Chairmen by OLADD: 11:26pm On Aug 04, 2025
Well, it's still a win-win situation for ADC. If truly Ralph Nwosu is recognized by Inec, it reaffirms his leadership grip on the party contrary to the claims of their former presidential candidate, Kachukwu and his accomplices who have been going around barking and bluffing by claiming otherwise. All that's required is for the i's to be dotted and the t's to be crossed by both the old and the new leadership.

So, Lere should chill, the coalition is on course.

Nomatter how educated or socially acclaimed a black man (or woman) is, sentiment and primordial considerations will always take preeminence and front row in his/her views, stance and opinions. This is why other continents have left Africa behind in the race for development.

My friend, I must confess to you that one of the things I so much like about Atiku's personalty is his high level of tolerance. His civility, even as a Fulani man and a politician is second to none and that's what the likes of Wike are trampling upon.

Even as an ordinary Nigerian, I do not possess half of Atiku's patience. Wike would surely have his rewards.
PoliticsRe: If I Were His Son, I’d Advise Him, Wike Criticises Atiku Over Defections by OLADD: 4:28pm On Aug 04, 2025
AMINDA:
Wike thinks he's smart but he's still learning politics where Atiku and Tambuwal are. Without saying a word, Atiku’s singular move to the ADC neutralized all the plans of Wike and Tinubu, yet Atiku has still not lost a single momentum. Infact, he has potentially been given a more viable platform without the inherent baggage that PDP has. Meanwhile, Wike is fast losing leverage and relevance with Tinubu and he's now latched on the LP and Abure train to prove to Tinubu that he could still be valuable.
You're right. He knows the hunter has now become the hunted but still wants to show his master that he's still relevant but inwardly, he know he has lost the plot. However, Atiku’s ship has sailed, no magnitude of storm can disrupt its navigation.

Very correct. This liar who often claim he wants power to remain in the south glaringly schemed to be picked as VP to Atiku after the PDP primaries in 2023 but was rebuffed. How would someone clamour for power shift to the South and at the same time wanted to be VP to a northerner? A chronic deceit.

LOL. That's why I stated that it was a path that led to nowhere for Obi in 2023 and it will still lead nowhere for him in 2027. Ask yourself these questions:
1. Has Inec changed?
2. Who says something more diring than system glitch is not been planned for 2027?
3. If the above happens, what can Obi and his supporters do? The usual boasting and grandstanding?
4. Will Tinubu who is now an incumbent open his eyes and allow himself to be stampeded from power?

Let Obi team up with Atiku as Vp and he'll become president in the nearest future. It's only that ticket that stands any chance against APC in 2027. Any other move is a waste of time, energy and resources.

BREAKING: AfroBasket 2025: D’Tigress overcome Senegal 75-68 to book final spot

Nigeria’s D’Tigress breezed into the final of the 2025 Women’s AfroBasket after a thrilling 75-68 semi-final victory over Senegal.

D’Tigress maintained their dominance in the second quarter, heading into half-time with a 43-37 lead.

I just can't comprehend how they continue to deceive themselves but pretend to deceive others. Someone prevented your candidate from becoming president when he wasn't in power, what motivates your chest beating believing that the same person, who's now the incumbent will lower or loose his guards and allow any featherweight to beat him to the game. It's an awkward reasoning.

Firstly, you missed the road. I supported Atiku in the last election and I will still do so, by the Grace of God Almighty, if he decides to contest in 2027.

Moreover, stop boasting and beating the chest on what you don't have power over. The only way rigging can be curtailed in 2027 is if the opposition stand firmly in unity and present a candidate that's acceptable in every part of the country.
