Isaac Fayose, younger brother to former Ekiti State Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose, has publicly criticized his sibling's political relevance.

In a bold statement, he declared that the APC would fail woefully in the upcoming Ekiti State election if INEC conducted a free and fair process.

If APC is that unpopular enough that Adeleke decamping to the party will ruin his chances, how come Agbadorians keep parroting that Tinubu will win the Southwest in a landslide? I hope Tinubu is not counting on other regions to deliver him like in 2023 when he couldn't even deliver himself? At this point, Lagos, Osun and Oyo (if Makinde picks up PDP's ticket) are not certain. Where then will Tinubu get bloc votes from?

South south is gone already so there is nothing to talk about that region again. They’ve been very clear as to where they will stand in 2027. The only reason they voted Atiku in the past was because of the PDP structure that was dominant party in the region. Thanks to Atiku greed, that structure has now been collapsed into APC. Trust me, Atiku as a stand alone candidate won’t get 5% in any southern states.

In the event of Atiku scheming Peter Obi out of the coalition and a second ballot becomes necessary between Tinubu and Atiku, south east will repay Atiku’s treachery by voting Tinubu in the rerun. It’s even a no brainer really. Tinubu will clear the south and north central, then divide the north west. Easy victory.

This is a reply to the APC sponsored post titled "2027: Peter Obi Was Tricked Into Atiku-backed Coalition – Obi's Ex-Aide" Be reminded that Peter Obi wasn't tricked, he worked for it and got it.

Peter Obi never approached the coalition to become the flag bearer because he understands that if he were on the ballot as the main candidate, it would make rigging easy for the APC, and they would simply tell him to go to court. However, with Atiku as the presidential candidate and Obi as his running mate, it’s game over for the APC.

So, Obi has chosen to keep them in suspense and uncertainty. But now that they've figured out his intentions, they’ve resorted to launching various attacks disguised as advice or praise—claiming that Obi is too big to deputize Atiku. Well, they’ve failed, because Obi will indeed deputize Atiku, and the APC is finished. It’s already signed and sealed.
