Food4Thought:Clear on what? Another resounding defeat for Obi? You people boasted more than this in 2023. Stop engaging in wild goose chase. |
Masterstroke4:Here they go again! Treading the lane that led nowhere in 2023 and would still lead to an exercise in absolute futility in 2027. Please, memorise the lines in the song word for word, translate it to different languages far and wide, Obi cannot defeat Tinubu in 2027, nomatter the sugarcoatings. Let him pair with Atiku as VP. That's his only pathway to become president but if he goes ahead to contest the same way he fruitlessly did in 2023 and looses, posterity will not be kind to anybody that assist APC to come back to power either directly or indirectly. |
Demola, don't worry. Let them continue with their over-rehearsed and watery diatribes. Oh! Atiku is too old. Eeh! He's a perennial contestant. Oh! He's this or that. They can only succeed in achieving one thing and that's utter wasting of their helish time. If Atiku is old, is it Obi, Tinubu or Kwankwasso that's young? If Donald Trump were to be a Nigerian, the mischief makers would have carried placards and asked him not to contest again-just because he's too old. They shamelessly ask Atiku to step down for the "younger ones" , but codedly avoid to pinpoint just one person amongst the potential presidential aspirants who is truly young. Atiku Abubakar will contest the 2027 presidential election by the grace of God Almighty. No amount of propaganda, fact-twisting, lies and concorted innuendos will stop him. Atiku's time has come, he will be the next president of Nigeria. |
What goes around, comes around. When the US surreptitiously and in some instances, barefacedly worked against Jonathan with spurious and disingenuous propaganda thereby paving way for the contestable victory of APC in 2015, the alleged architects of that malifecience, who now find themselves at the receiving end, did not see anything wrong at that time. Now that there's a new Sherrif in the Whitehouse, they are busy bluffing. Make una dey play. If you can't help your neighbour in the face of apparent injustice, don't team up with his tormentors to complicate his predicament. A word for today's politicians and all of us. |
Okon Lagos is a comedian I cherish a lot, the same way I somuch reverred the late Baba Suwe but Okon should not dabble into the murky water of politics. Everything must not be Obi. |
Burob:A liquor induced prediction coming from number one babalawo (dibia) of nairaland. Arrant Nonsense. |
nothingspoil70:If your wait is targetted at seeing Obi pick ADC presidential ticket, it's better you place your legs on the throttle and accelerate faster than you can because he won't get it. Nomatter how the primaries go, ADC stands unshaken. |
Bananapill:The person you quoted was only telling you not to waste your vote as you did in 2023. You didn't just waste your vote, you helped bring this pains on Nigerians by your egocentric decisions in voting someone who didn't and still don't have a pathway to become president. |
aswani:Are you been clever by half? Step aside for who? If you're asking him to step aside for Obi, you must be a jester of the century. I hope you're not classifying Obi as a young person. |
Shawarmagirl:Is ADC constitution superior to the electoral laws? Haba, make una dey think before forming opinion now. |
Shawarmagirl:There's nothing to learn my friend. This was how you guys fooled yourselves in 2023. It's obvious Obi and his desciples don't want to learn but they'll be forced to do so when they fail in their tracks once more. You cannot be romancing with LP, PDP and call it smartness, it's s pure deceit and political treachery. |
ozo13:Take a look at the 2023 presidential election results in the South and draw your conclusion. The only area he's likely to have poor outing is South East where expectedly, Obi will hold sway. |
ozo13:Obi will largely hurt Tinubu this time around. He would deplete Tinubu's votes in the South but Atiku is poised to gain more from the North due to aparthy towards Tinubu's performance and nepotism. Give or take, Atiku will marginally edge out both Obi and Tinubu through popular votes and 25% national spread. |
It's a pity social media has now become a tool for untrained kids to ventilate hypocrisy and we are here celebrating them. Though, J am against the reelection of Tinubu, we should ask ourselves why this uncultured and doublefaced child did not say all these when his father was busy selling Tinubu's candidacy to Nigerians before the 2023 elections. Now that his father has been sidelined in the scheme of things and allegedly spinning to become VP, he's entertaining himself and the gullibles with diatribe. Enough of these sycophancies. |
Elusive001:No, you go to Punch and ask them where they concorted the lies from. |
It's evident Atiku is more commited to the course of ADC among the possible flagbearrers. His time has come and I think the party is the best vehicle to finally realize his presidential ambition having left the carcass of PDP for Wike, Makinde and co. He would clinch the presidency in 2027 with ease. |
LagosOrigin:Wike is not aspiring for any elective post, so he's comfortable playing a spoiler role in PDP. |

TimeManager:Kai! You guys would just type anything you like without any iota of truth. How many NSAs and their track records did you consider before making these assertions? By the way, did those ministers use any escorts? |
This is how you talk as a Chief Security Adviser... sending a stern warning to others. The best NSA since 1999. God bless Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, God bless Nigeria. -Kiss the truth![/quote]Kai! You guys would just type anything you like without any iota of truth. How many NSAs and their track records did you consider before making these assertions? By the way, did those ministers use any escorts? Please, make una dey tone am down small small. |
ozo13:Don't worry bro, the jungle will soon mature. Weeds would be separated from shafts when real politicking begins. It's going to be a straight fight between APC (the oppressors) and ADC (haven of the masses). Just watch out. |
For those asking question about what ADC is bringing to the table or doing differently, this is just a tip of the iceberg. Just watch as APC and other pretending parties would copy and paste. |
adaxme:Sorry, who's this (your) parallel line question directed to? Atiku, the appointed youths or the OP? |
ADC set powerful example by appointing youths into NWC – Atiku Published on August 1, 2025 By Seun Opejobi Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Friday commended the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for appointing youths into its National Working Committee, NWC. Atiku said the ADC has set a powerful example by including the youths in its decision making process. ADC had appointed Bilyaminu Duhu as Assistant National Youth Leader, North East, Jackie Wayas, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hassana Dada, Assistant National Youth Leader, North Central, David Itokpa, Deputy National Welfare Secretary and Hauwa Yusuf, Deputy National Secretary. Reacting to the development, the former presidential candidate said the future of Nigerian youths must not be shaped in their absence. Posting on X, Atiku wrote: “Congratulations to the vibrant young members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC)—Bilyaminu Duhu (Assistant National Youth Leader, North East), Jackie Wayas, @JWEZEE, (Deputy National Publicity Secretary), Hassana Dada (Assistant National Youth Leader, North Central), David Itokpa @iamhistory_, (Deputy National Welfare Secretary), Hauwa Yusuf, @itz_hawee (Deputy National Secretary) and others, on their well deserved appointments to the party’s National Working Committee. “The @ADCNig is no longer just speaking about youth inclusion; it is now boldly demonstrating it in action. Indeed, the future of our youth must not be shaped in their absence, and I commend the ADC for setting a powerful example by giving them a seat at the table where decisions are made. “This is what true leadership looks like, not just talking the talk, but walking it with purpose.” https://dailypost.ng/2025/08/01/adc-set-powerful-example-by-appointing-youths-into-nwc-atiku/

illicit:Do you need to contest for political position before been valued? You children of nowadays, can't you just apply at least 20% of your brain before acting? Haba! |
ricson11:Awesome! This is how liberally minded human beings should behave. Don't package fraud because of tribal/ethnic sentiments or pecuniary considerations. If all of us can cultivate this habit, not only will featherweight and conmen politicians cease to take us for granted, tokenism in governance will gradually take backward stage in Nigeria. |
AMINDA:The blame should rest entirely on the shoulders of Adeleke for playing tribal politics as against politics of inclusion and ideology. Why should he publicly announce support for Tinubu's reelection and still want to stay in PDP and recontest under the party ticket ? It's a case of someone eating his cake and still wanting to have it. This probably informed his decision to severe ties with Atiku. Nomatter what his spokespersons and spin doctors say, Adeleke toyed with the idea of defecting to APC but met brickwall from Oyetola and other blocs in APC. I might be wrong but that's the perception in the polity. The same party that deployed everything in their arsenal to truncate his election in the past but failed, is the one he's hobnobbing with today just because of tribal sentiment and fear of Federal might. With the way things are are panning out in Osun, Adeleke may box himself to a tight corner by playing into the hands of his political foes, thereby resulting in his resounding defeat next year. As things stand now, whether he defects or not, his reelection is doubtful. |
seunmsg:Your submission really portrayed how kindergarten you are politically , even though your communication skill says otherwise. So, in case of rerun, Southeast will vote for Tinubu and prolong their shot at the presidency till 2039? If Tinubu or APC is returned in 2027, that's the end of Obi's presidential aspiration. It will also prolong any pathway to southeast ascention to the presidency. This is simple commonsense. |
lapintoz:How will you feel if anyone says this to your parents? Just ponder over this if your senses are still intact. |
Linzo:Stop typing gibberish. The postulation about ADC tricking Obi was made by one of his strong strategists, not Tinubu, APC or the presidency. As much as we detest APC and thier devilish politicking, let's call a spade by its name and stop twisting issues Obi's intention by his actions and inactions is to contest for the presidency. He has repeatedly said he won't deputise for anybody or are you saying he's a liar and one of the politicians who can't be taken for their words? He paved way for APC to win the 2023 election by his unreasonable grandstanding and he's doing same towards 2027 unrepentantly. |
