Congrats...Good news everywhere...for ur BC,...Go to 12-14 Babs animashaun street, Surulere Opposite rita lori hotel. But firstly, U need to get declaration of age at high court Ikeja, Then you take d declaration of age to Surulere with 2passport photo to get ur birth certificate. It takes 2weeks max to be ready for collection...1k5 for declaration and 5k for birth cert (depends on how urgent u want it)...Call dis number when u get to high court...08087..208934(Mr. David) and dis at Surulere 080236..28644(Mrs. Bayekusi)...They will help u out...Good luck

Hi everyone. I thought I should update you. I requested opt out from F1. It was approved by NVC but I was told I need to also get approval from Dhs. However I got my interview letter today under F2B category for July 3.

Yeah Qlife...I paid about 67k. I was asked if I have had chicken pox at some point and I answered yes. I guess immunization against chicken pox was excluded and that made it cheaper...

I have done d NPC birth cert, I was told it will be ready in two weeks. I have not gone for medicals yet, I will go for it next week.

The VO handed me two white papers. One contained instructions for collection which included the pick up address. The address on the sheet of paper was DHL office in VI. The other paper is an instruction on how to pay for green card.
When your passport is ready, you will get a text message on your phone requesting you to come pick it up. You will also get an email which says your passport is ready for delivery to your address. I disregarded the email though, since the instruction conveyed on the white paper was clear about how to pick it up. Also, I hadn't checked out of the hotel I was lodged in VI, which luckily was very close to the DHL office, so I went there as early as 8am for collection.

This isn't a problem at all. Go to www.ustraveldocs.com/ng and click on immigrant. You should see an icon ' create account ' or u click on login, then new user. Fill your email and choose a password ( which must contain both numbers and alphabet not less than 8 characters). After creating the account, go to update profile and fill other details. That's all. I created my account a day after my visa was issued and got a noticed to collect my passport same day.

Are u saying u got ur visa d following day it was approved as opposed the normal 10 business days?

@Stancima and Koolkesh...How did u guys register an acount and open a profile with d embassy for them to get ur info on how to return ur passport and docs ? I have checked...No where to sign up ooo...did u guys register with a courier service? Please u guys should come to my rescue

Hopefully the bulletin will move this month.

Thanks my people. I will take your advice and remain calm. They say patience is a virtue. Not been easy at all, especially when you are an only child. Had my first, 2nd and 3rd baby in her absence. 'WhatsApp video' call is our best friend lol. Last time I hugged her was Nov 2015. Na she feel am pass. E no easy jare. Plus she misses my cooking. Her hubby, My stepdad, misses my fried rice. I told her our reunion go bad gan. Lmao!

@pretty16 I understand how you feel, we have been here for years, stay strong.

U guys just have to endure d remaining couple of weeks since u are almost there. There was a time F1 was moving 2-3months on average in that fiscal year, I think fiscal year 2016 or so. So many factors do affect this movement.I know that feeling of being on the verge of a breakthrough and it keeps delaying.

I seriously doubt if F1 will move too. If someone on F2b with PD of 26th may has received means I can't even opt out cause F2b has passed my PD. I have just 6weeks left to be current on F1 but I have a feeling it might take forever. I just pray a miracle happens soon with F1.

Don't even think of opting out, u have just 6 weeks to go and it might take just a month for that to go through . Just be patient. Though I understand ur feelings but all u need now is a little little patience...

Meanwhile from the look of things I don't know if F1 Will move again this month. someone on V.J, F1 category said he has not received I.L., but his friend on F2b with priority date 26th of May has received. Which means F2B is likely to move again for June bulletin. I for just Opt out, but the guy said he heard from someone that if u opt out, it will take them about 2-3months to process it. I just told my mum to confirm from them first before making a decision to opt out.

I will advise u not to opt out, what if u opt out and F2A gets stuck? Just be patient...There was a time my category didn't move for like 6 months and even retrogressed at some point. Just be patient.

Congrats bro. U don't need an appointment for Medicals in Lagos however u need an appointment if you intend to have it in Abuja. Your result will be ready in two weeks (10 working days) in Lagos whereas Abuja is just three working days. If you are in Lagos I advice you just have it in Lagos since you have sufficient time.
