ATTN MASTERS STUDENTS If you are a top non EU student and the professor is actively encouraging you to pursue a PhD in Germany, RUN. Use her/his goodwill to get a great recommendation letter for another country. She/He is doing it because, increasingly, the professor’s funding for PhD programs is conditional on the internationalization of the program. Once you complete the PhD the professor will do nothing to help you stay on and instead will actively encourage you to return to your home country so that you can create more networks for him/her and German graduate programs. If you want to be sure ask her or him if she or he will help you stay on permanently after your studies. I am sick of a broken system where professors and the university administration spends millions sending delegations to seduce students, where DAAD has its own offices and minions to spread the propaganda, where the actual teaching is done by poorly paid PhD candidates or docents (PhD s who can t find academic jobs but are connected to the university on a freelance basis)
I am sick of a rotten system where professors are civil servants who cannot be sacked and one professor may have over 35 PhDs working under him/her while he/she jet sets around the world luring more students and creating tie ups to bring in even more. Do you even think that he or she even reads your chapters?!
Your language skills count for nothing. It only gives you an year off the time required towards citizenship, but that s only if you have a permanent residence. No points for fluent German.Even if you speak German you are an auslander. Many interviews will be conducted in German, and many ads for computer engineers or even English teachers will demand fluent C2 level German!!!
You are given a job search visa but it comes with so many conditions. You have to show 8,000 euros in a blocked account. You have to show a job otherwise. If you can manage to get a job in a call center or Amazon do you think they ll give you leave to go look for a job?! And the Amazon or call center job won t get you permanent residence because you don t need a PhD, or even a masters to do that! So after 1.5 years you are out. Germany should be honest. Tell the world they don t want non EU immigrants even highly educated ones.
In sum, while I don t regret studying abroad I regret studying in a country where nothing but my passport actually counts. All it has given me is constant stress leading to severe depression.

U can plead the school to extend your enrollment deadline to April ending. Atleast that one is quite reasonable. Just send the message to the school indicating ur Interview date and try to rationally clarify some points concerning embassy policy- duration of visa processing must be 6weeks or more before enrollment deadline.

If the school cant do that, then ASK if they can renew your admission for Winter. Thats all.

NB- U ONLY HAVE 3WEEKS FROM UR DAY OF INTERVIEW TO ENROLLMENT deadline. So if all doesnt work, then have Faith and go for Interview. Thanks.

Even if BA get rejection. Its still save than SL. HOWEVER, i havent Seen people rejected with BA so far. unless the Person did not submit his/her BA on the stipulated date given by the embassy then one can be denied Visa and some other instances Attachés like late appointment booking nearly close to you admission deadline. E.t.c

If u want to use SL, well everything in life is by pick. But remember to play your Game wisely.

I have known people that used their brother's wife (white women) and was rejected. I think its not that easy when using a white fellow. But i hardly see someone that used fellow black and was denied. Using bf or gf you are on your own. Be sure of what you are saying so u don't mislead people.

There ia nothing AS good AS having ones blocked account. Because there are lot of implications attached to SPONSORSHIP LETTER. Even currently people are paying almost 50% to secure letter of Sponsorship from both foreigner or blacks over there which doesnt give perfect assurance of one getting the visa. And the money is unrefundable
Moreover the alien officers will still investigate more to show how related YOU guys are because they dont want a liability in their country.

So, its advisable to work for block account which is totally yours and also prevent YOU from unseren contigences of SL disappointment( I AM A LIVING WITHNESS OF THAT KIND OF DISSPOINTMENT)-

Now u got My question. All is well.

This is also a lesson to most of US. If THE school can not help in extending the enrollment deadline or you also feel it cant be visible with your visa Interview, make sure u withdraw your visa application or dont make attempt to book any appointment(if in the case of late booking).

Just plead THE school should renew your admission for another season of admission.

Last winter, I applied for visa but I was rejected due to the expiration of my enrollment. I applied again for admission, secured one and applied for visa.

Visa: 16/03/2018
