Gabbysky: I am so tempted to insult you from the depths of my guts but NO, I won't go that low,
So, please refrain from insulting the President and his supporters, rather, join hands with our gallant troops to win this war against Terrorists.
The President has done and is still doing his best to contain this menace reared by so-called political oppositions you support, and I can assure you the BH insurgency is one issue that gives the President sleepless nights.
By the way if we must go political, have you deemed it fit to ask your Principal to call his boko boys to order? And must we make everything Political, even terrorism?

We must drop our political sentiments and come out against this craze called terrorism.

God Bless Nigeria
In law their are 3 things considered the plan, the intent and the actual offence- negligence is also not an excuse- on judgement day we would all be judged according to what we have done- and what has happened the blood of the innocent shall hang on the necks of those that were supposed to act and refused to act- troops are fighting while you people are justifying and campaigning, committees are being set up - criminals and corrupt personalities are being released by your pay masters I.e *ogbulafor* - the core frabic of a nation is being destroyed by a group of un-intelligent bandits in power- they have also invaded all sights forgetting that 99 days is for the thief, one day -one day is for the owner of the house-
Politics › Re: Chimda Hedima- The Pilot Beheaded By Boko Haram by olajide8(m):
Oh- Nigeria- why has our country fallen into the hands of an incompetent person? A plane crashed, and they couldn't identify or find the place it crashed- it cost more then $50,000 to train a pilot in nigeria, apart from the loss to their families- not even an air-commodore (one star) has died, they can't fly our planes - they haven't maintained them in years, isn't it their war also?
Only the young pilots! - some of the best, those supposed to be given awards of excellence, they only fly helicopters over abuja, pouring smoke for a whole day, wasting our aviation fuel for no just reason- yet some people have the audacity to campaign! And tell the ignorant arrant lies.
To make matters worst they wouldn't allow us register, to get our PVC's Jega, kai you are an accomplice in this matter - Oh God, the blood of the innocent weeps, and you that love wearing army uniform and claiming to be the C-n-C for nothing their is God - if not for these pilots, those boko thwarts, may have entered maiduguri - almost causing a civil war- I thought the ministry of aviation said they have a total radar covering of the whole of nigeria's airspace? What a lie and a shame- upon all the aerotropolis* projects and the money being spent by this government on aviation- a loan for that matter, a plane went missing and the pilot behead you didn't even bother to search for the plane, and you also denied the boy was an air boy! - if thwarts could locate the plane, while you- in the military high command can't find it? Ha - God, this corruption- kai corruption has finished this country-

berem: Who makes inflammatory statements and divide Nigerians along ethnic and religious lines if not PDP leaders?

I smell hypocrisy Mr President!!
He sounds like he is the one planting all the ethnic animosity in nigeria* in a bid to be re-elected at all cost - do the opposition parties own the international airport, the ebola victim passed through? Who should have been more proactive, by putting an ebola testing center their opposition government?- the states and the people only took a reactive measure because of the level of enlightenment - these are the points people should look at to elect leaders (its called efficiency and capability, which this man lacks).

If that APC is that sophisticated and we don't have one in nigeria! Kai -are we truly the giant of africa? Or is it just gallant soldiers that we have? - because looking at the ability and capacity of that APC, mehn - we are finished! And if we do have it, that means it was part of the things stolen from our barracks, when those thwarts invaded them* can we start to look to buy more of those equipment it makes a lot of sense at least we have one now! Olaone1: I'm impressed. This is because this article was posted by Naptu. I have been watching him for some time because he comes across, at times, as pro-APC, pro-Islam and pro-Buhari. So, I didn't expect him to post anything anti-APC. Kudos, Naptu. My respect for you remains untainted.

Erm...we all know Buhari stole from the coffers of the Nigerian government. He amassed wealth during his stint as the head of PTF. But, sincerely, he didn't pilfer like his mates. By Naija standard, he's a saint.

He's the best candidate out there if all we want is a dogged fight against corruption. But, politics/Naija presidency is much more than that. Fact!

Up GEJ wink
Kai- naija! Dora akunyilli was recommended by buhari to OBJ from PTF- for some of her exemplary characters so also so many others and D.G's - PTF was the equivalent of the sure-P initiated by abacha government (they were collecting money on first line charge basis, they didn't have to account to anybody), to do direct interventions of federal government jobs, schools hospitals at least I went to one of such schools in lagos and some of them are still around that they inscribed PTF built on till date- all federal hospitals during that time had drugs constantly, I am sure you also benefited from them - please think back remember them, those drugs that were shared to all hospitals on a monthly basis and all state commissioners of health would come and collect those periods, they use to show them being shared on TV - then people preferred to go to the hospital to collect panadol because our brothers from the other side of the niger were selling us chalk as panadol, and akamu as Calamine lotion - when people were dying of typhoid due to fake indocid/amoxil - everybody was going to the clinic for the slightest treatment, if you drive from akure to ilesha somewhere along the road you would still see the PTF boulders with their inscription and the roads are still good till date- after he left PTF, like I still insist- if I can I, would post a picture of his house in abuja its a twin duplex - he stays on one side and he has a neighbour then I would post a picture of one of saraki daughters house, and you can compare and contrast- and he was using a toyota land-cruiser jeep dark green coloured only one - where as the directors of the same PTF where given houses in PTF estate in high brow wuse II - detached duplexes state of art- haba! The only thing I would frown at is if he comes out to pay that N27m from his pocket, thou I know more then 6 people who have pledged to donate if he says his coming out- but talking about this man, is very unfair- a thief, after stealing -who would he entrust his stolen loot to? -another thief? or a honest man? I am not a thief neither are you- but who would you like to entrust your wealth to -a thief? As for me, whether he wins or loses - if they eventually allow me collect my voters card I would entrust it a honest man irrespect of if, he wins or loses - irrespect of if its GMB, or another candidate but definitely not the current man at the helm of affairs* I don't know where you are, but where I am kai* not this man (GEJ) again-

seunmsg: Thought provoking article from Pius Adesanmi as usual. He has captured all that is wrong with Nigeria succinctly. With the kind of opinions people express on NL daily, we will just be lucky to get things right in the next 50 years in Nigeria. Even a school drop out will come here and defend the same government official that stole the funds that should have been used to provide him with good education. The level of diseducation is simply pathetic and sympathetic.
Thank you for this post- for a very along time, I felt I was going insane- with the level of mediocrity going on- Oga Pius, God bless you also.
Now to those that refuse to heed - hmmm* to the others say what you think, believe what you will, buhari was a next door neighbour of mine in abuja, thou I never talked to him - not even a wave, believe it or not his humility personified, he is not poor that he cannot feed himself - and he definitely is not a multi-million that can afford to go on a spending spree- say he has a religious inclining because his from the north (which I know is not true) one day you shall know the truth- well its not far away again* the only thing is the amount is crazy N27m - I guess that's the best way to make people that have the money but don't want to waste it run away- I want to believe, this strategy is targeted at people coming together to donate for their candidates ticket-

Their are 2 sets of people in this world - Good and the bad, 2 sets of people Man and woman, 2 sets of people black and white "forget how they look", 2 sets of people those with a conscience and those without, 2 sets of people the wicked and fair, 2 sets on nairaland those given laptops by patience jonathan to save the image of this administration and those that believe, in their ideals and statements of other political figures and support other personalities- our division gets wider everyday as paid to post PDP E-warriors and APC followers clash on every political thread, the igbo's trying to take on the rest of the tribes-"deep seeded in the failure of succession" and calling them names- I tire oh* yes, wetin be my own *I close eyes nah* and skip them- which I do a lot, their is something that is always obvious the truth they see it and lie about it, throwing aspersions on other people for their woes- some don't even know that immediately after the 2015 elections (paid to post) they loose their relevance- they have also forgotten that bad leadership rubs off on all of us directly or indirectly- immediately or in future- why can we just think with our brains and not our feet-

Nostrademus the man that saw tomorrow-

Seriously speaking - Maybe, possibly, what we are not able to see they can see! We have turned away from the west in terms of our business relations - to asia and china and we want to buy their arms errh! I don't think it works that way- secondly don't you guys think they can see beyond what we have refused to see - corruption, political muscling- endorsement of corrupt personalities- almost successful legalisation of corruption (removal of oil subsidy) unfair playing field for other political actors (by endorsement of this administration) - the decision of 16 is greater then 19 governors forum- the blockage of people from getting registered for elections (scientific rigging) -the list is endless- we are just about to experience the cold war, all nations against nigeria, if we the people don't do what is right* -

I hope someone will enlighten me because it's crazy to think about it.

I also wonder why it was minister of petroleum that made the announcement. That woman can sell meat to a cow.
The government takes advantage of the ignorance of so many, we have people that will dine with the devil and support failure, "well even the devil has a lot of followers all over nigeria, and they are all in power" they are all over nairaland, they are paid to post; supporting a government that pretends to gives them what is actually the responsibility of the government to provide- we can't talk, we can't act, the lecturers are all part of the rot, you see the minister of petroleum is actually the one ruling nigeria* from behind-

Konnektions146: when will Nigeria wake up?

Approving monies everyday without any remarkable improvement, we as a nation have got a lot of abundant resources to generate electricity but seemingly we are cursed in the way of petroleum, everything now is Gas powered ,
no one is looking at long term per se,

what about renewable energy which we all know is till eternity.

i have see a gas well loose over 50% of its production capacity in less than 2 years, what if somethin like this happens to wells supplying gas to our gas-fired power stations?, we would be plunged into darkness ehn?

it is well
This country- what a shame, what a fraud of the populise by this government, imagine O! How can you privatise or sell something that is monopolistic in nature and try and deceive people saying the prices would come down, then for the same monopolistic thing you start to give those that are actors, money (loans) to operate it- this is just one*
The housing scheme of government in partnership with a selected operator- is the second fraud, they have recorded 66,000+ people imagine now people paying at least N1,000,000 to start with- then look at the numbers - N66,000,000,000+ that would build all the houses enmasse while they collect between N11m - N 45m from subscribers when would we realise we are in trouble with this govt., and some people would go all commending* the FG for defrauding them -

It has always been like this in nigeria - we see the best and choose the worst so people can make comparisms and say the previous administration was better- now this is the challenge those theiving group have been able to perpetuate themselves in power for 16yrs by perfecting this act using a hypothetical example of abuja - the polithievians send their numerous S.A's toilet and P.A's hand bag to registration points - they come their listen to peoples opinions then scatter the place shouting as people are on the que they throw chairs that people don't want them to register- the innocent people then get angry because the agents are not given chance to continue the police come and meet them - and then they show I.D cards and the police shut up* people go home and the registration is cancelled at that point and then the cheating continues like that- while in their strong holds it goes smoothly - "I can bet it everybody in bayelsa especially otuoke have their votes cards- what a country!!
