see bribery and corruption - is it only 1st class graduates what of second class graduates that have the propensity to also deliver first class materials -
They are just lying, concocting stories- anything to justify or discredit the opposition the story is just getting worst- jonathan this opposition that - and nah February O!
If this* what we see in the power sector- 2600mgw on paper to 4000mgw on paper - when actually it's 1800mgw is him doing well because ASO villa has power then it's a shame - your government has done it's best it's beyond the 2 of you- both in depth and breath - the administration is bereft of idea's and you have carried nigeria to the best height you can - it's time to throw in the towel - I look at all the promises made by him that made me campaign for GEJ but with one fell swept- he increased the price of a litre and I knew he wasn't responsible and capable of carrying on- the same cabal had gotten to him*- he/they almost legalised and institutionalised corruption- in all facets of the nigerian state- well they succeeded all the same-
The mere fact that Buhari did not give Nigerians the opportunity to vote out NPN in 1987 when he criminally stole power in 1983 makes it unjustifiable for him to ask Nigerians now to vote for him to replace a government that is 'corrupt'. Why is he not calling for a coup. Value the naira is not Jonathan's making. it is as a result of our over-dependence on oil. Oil dependent nations like Venezuela and Russia have had their currency hit. As long as the price of oil continues to fall, the naira will continue to fall. There are no two ways about it. Even Buhari's government depended totally on oil. And if your were fair, you will know that our economy since oil became our main revenue earner, is more diversified than ever. If not because of the little diversification, naira will have fallen more. During Buhari's time, the price of oil was stable, yet it did not stop naira's fluctuation.
You make it sound like APC are the saints, the champions of good governance while PDP are the champions of bad governance. have you been to Zamfara or Yobe or Bornu or Kebbi or Sokoto? These are states that have been mainly under APC (as they had been governed by mainly APP/ANPP/APC) governors since 1999? How has education in these states improved? What of health? What of infrastructure. I served in Sokoto when democracy returned to Nigeria. Last year when I was homw, I visited Zamfara, Sokoto and Kebbi and nothing has changed. The same Alimajiri filled the streets. What of Lagos-the golden 'boy' of APC? With all its money, potable water is still a luxury. People living in Ijaniki, Ajamgbadi, Ayobo Ipaja, Iyana Oba, Ikotun, Egbeda, Idimu, Nanti, Amukoko and Ajegunle still do not feel the presence of government in the past 16 years. So, what are you talking about? What of Fayemi-one of the very best of APC? What did he achieve as a governor? He could not pay salaries and was buying a bed for N50m (of course I know it is exaggerated but it may not be far from the real cost)? Leave that stuff. No politician cares for you.
Even if APC has Fashola and Oshiomhole (both of whom have failed in this their second terms), PDP also have Chime and Akpabio. Chime, apart from his personal scandals (like his wife issue and the impeachment of his former deputy) is one hell of a manager. He doesn't make noise in the media like Fashola and Oshiomole but that guy has performed extremely well (by Nigerian standard). I was in Enugu last year and I was impressed. The guy doesn't even 'commission' projects carried out by his government. Project is done, it is done. No need for ceremonies to waste. Yet, Enugu's money from the federal purse might not be up to what Ikeja alone makes for Fashola. I graduated from UNIUYO 15 years ago. Then, Uyo was a glorified village. Akwa Ibom bought everything it needed from Aba. There was no where you could by electronics in Akwa Ibom then. Aba was like Europe for them. But last year, I went to see friends in Uyo and I missed my road. The city is one of the most beautiful in Nigeria now. Totally transformed. So, forget the APC media hype. What cries in APC also cries in PDP.
You are calling for military government. Ever heard of the saying that the worst democracy is better than the best military government? There is nothing like freedom. That you can call Jonathan names shows how free you are as a person. Buhari you so much adore limited that freedom. In fact, he promulgated a decree making it a crime for journalists to report anything that embarrasses the government, including corruption. I was in China (though not run by the military but has a 'quasi-military' govt) last year for a conference and found that I could not use facebook. They do not also have a free press. Come off it, no to anything that will limit your freedom. You talk about Rawlings and how he sanitised Ghana. Sure, you don't know about the corruption perpetrated under Rawlings. Read up how his wife, amassed wealth through her 31st December Women’s Movement and Rawlings looked the other way. I never knew about this. I taught Rawlings abhorred corruption until last year when I was in Ghana during the period I visited Nigeria. I was a the University of Ghana, Legon for a conference. During a discussion with my friend, the vice rector of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (we met in London about 10 years ago when we were doing graduate programmes. He was doing a PhD and I master's), I told him how lucky Ghana was to have a patriot like Rawlings. My friend laughed. Eventhough he belonged to the same political party with Rawlings, he told me how the man allowed corruption to fester during his time, referring me to the wife's 31st December Women Movement. I retired to my hotel and googled 'Mrs Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings and corruption'. It was then that I joined Ghana's Ayi Kwei Armah to say that indeed, 'The beautiful ones are not yet born'.
I like your optimism and idealism. But do know that your Buhari is no savior but another power hungry politician whose power base is those who insist that 'our turn was stolen'. Now, the have teamed up with some utterly corrupt ambitious godfathers who are now using the media (which they once used to tell us what Buhari really is: Democracy destroyer and tribal/religious bigot) to convince people like you that Buhari is the long awaited messiah who will deliver Nigeria from all her troubles.
Hmm* it's a shame, the epistle you wrote was so long with only one feature- denigrating the image of buhari to supposedly create a good image of your GEJ- I would fault you because, it's certain you are lost and like I said on - one thread even the devil has followers - some people find it hard to believe that a person that has the access to the Internet would not be honest and objective- who would beat you for being honest? I seriously don't know if you are related to abati or okupe - but it smells over your write up- the same condition that doesn't make you see (poverty) that a government would borrow money to create employment, generations would pay back with interest- or for infrastructure development- but the money earned from the sales -supposedly from oil and VAT - taxes paid by nigerian's is taken and used to buy stoves, our currency is devalued and your GEJ is trading in planes with 400m - he misfires with statements like corruption is not stealing, PDP has made many billionaires with less then 2% owning industries- not one case of corruption has been persecuted and no offender jailed- a rebasing of the economy and all friends of the government praising him for putting data which was in existence prior to his assumption of office in place- tompolo buying gun boats for the government-(ammunition sellers believe a militant is more dependable to do business with) a government that would in one move break 3 international criminal laws in one day with one flight $15m arms deal - with asari leading the way! A government that would buy N9.2b stoves- own 9-10 jets in the presidential fleet and a minister of petroleum would hire a jet for N10b - a president that would say if $20b is missing from nigeria the government of another country would be able to trace it and know where it is- till date nothing has been done* a government that was reactive to ebola and took God's grace and innocent Dr adedavoh life and the lagos state government to teach the world how to tackle the virus- the fund to battle ebola was used to buy utility vehicles instead of curbing the solving the issue- while trying to take credit for doing nothing- a government that increased the price of fuel and said they are privatising and the economy would collapse if they dont- (has the economy collapsed?) only to establish sure-p, a government that indirectly raised privatised the power sector while, still giving money to the so called power operators- immediately after the death of Yar-adua, the powerlines remain as they were uncompleted and abandoned - they are still increasing the electricity tariff - if you can't see because of your ethnocentric bigotism, please hold your peace and never ever bare your opinion in public - you are insulting all of us that are sane and educated-
Wishing you all and ever other nairalander a blissful Christmas and a marvelous year ahead.

*dancing with the stars- choki*- @natasha2 - I am humbled, merry christmas specially to you- ehn, I thought of what I could give you for xmas but like they say things happened my gift bag couldn't leave the arctic, I couldn't find rain deers to pull the slay, so na only me waka come-
And, they continue to sale their birth rights, they have been so dehumanized that they see HELL and say till 2019- they are finished they have beaten the normality out of them -with POVERTY, that they see cluelessness and misrule, and say THAT is what they want.
a prudent government would offload unnecessary toys and think of creating employment with such monies - they would rather borrow money from the world bank, to fund You-win projects, while they waste money hard earn nigerian's money on replacement, maintenance and management of a fleet of 9-10 jets - God punish you, the enemies of nigeria* you people are a cursed few - and the curse will remain on you and your children - you people will remain outcasts no matter how much you try to fit in you would never find the right size-
Ilovenigeria: This is wickedness. I think I will vote for Buhari.
You think ke! Sis vote buhari O! Or anybody else - but plZ not this court jeste* at least they have succeeded, in disenfranchising me - my one vote by scattering the point of registration - but so far you have yours vote wisely-
The naira has been devalued, with no buffer, the minister of finance is still planning or maybe lying to plan on how they would put in austerity measures to manage the economy, salaries are being owed, S.A and P.A of the president are looting and doing projects that do not add value to the common man- they are still galavanting the whole world- the price of oil is dropping- and the subsidy is not dropping, projects are being done on paper and with the word of mouth as first class projects to be delivered in 25yrs and 30yrs - the presidential fleet has 10jets they want to trade in one and spend more on a new one- why don't they just start another nigerian airways- the masses are suffering whereas the presidency uses N1b to eat, too many misplaced priorities - they also says corruption is not stealing That's how we know people that cheated in school, nothing dey dem head- only WATER!! and that they have made a few Nigerians close to them billionaires with out manufacturing companies and reciprocating industrialization A disgrace to Doctorate degree holders- ha let me not forget N9.2b for stoves - what a shame! Uncle Doyin and GEJ mis-yarning left right and center as if they are high on w.eed Plz, baba God send this incompetent group to their villages* the havoc they have recked as a group would really take us sometime to correct as some people have been so bast.ardized that they see mediocrity and incompetence and shout Cluelessness to 2019!!! May God visit the enemies of nigeria- with this kind of incompetent person- sometimes when I see the defence people put up, for this govt., it marvels me- do we even need as much as 9-10jets in the presidential airfleet - my answer NO! Why do we have them and a minister of petroleum would go and hire N10b jet NNPC funds and still take the house to court that they can't surmon her to face them? The structure of govt is clear- one makes laws the other administers and manages the economy based on their own belief's - that's why a NASS cannot stop the presidency from buying stoves and a jet- trade in yes - when the jets were being brought an open govt., would put all the objectives and warrants in public space for debate- and not tell us that it's a trade in when theu are adding another N400m to the so called trade in
And then mr GEJ has done it again- millionaires and billionaires without industries to their name and you say PDP has done this to nigeria- all the members of PDP are supposed to be jailed without trial - come to think of it mr GEJ too chop okoro and ewedu- a whole Phd holder- miss firing from all fronts no wonder okupe is miss yarning left right and centre also-
What a shame - the fact that he gets paid today- he has sold his children's birthright tomorrow- extinct personality - these people look like the Jews that crucified Jesus* let his failure be on your head and your family lineage alone- does amaechi look like a man that can be anybody's ATM* - choosing a technocrat, neutral person as VP says a lot of the give and take spirit - all politicians take a back sit* including you reno! Let people that mean well for nigeria fix it
lalasticlala: .. Suspect buries deceased overnight, flees community. *Mother has case to answer, says son *The house where the deceased was allegedly killed
FROM WOLE BALOGUN, ADO EKITI
A middle-aged woman in Ekiti, Mrs. Victoria Aina Adanikin, has allegedly murdered her own daughter, Miss. Oluwafunmilayo Rosaline Abosede Adanikin, a 300 level student of the Federal College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti.
Adanikin, who until the alleged murder of her daughter lived in Adanikin compound, beside Baba Ewenla house in Idamodu area of Emure-Ekiti, Emure Local Government Area of Ekiti State, was said to have put an end to the life of her 22-year-old daughter on the night of December 7 at their apartment.
Residents and neighbours in the area said trouble started a few days earlier when Abosede began to confess to committing some evil deeds through diabolical means. She was said to have allegedly confessed to causing havoc in her family by killing relatives and spoiling the fortunes of others with some fetish powers she got from her mum.
An old woman, who is a neighbour to the family but who craved anonymity, told the reporter: “Abosede had confessed to killing a relative of her mum as well as causing the misfortune that befell her father, Pa Titus Folorunso Adanikin, among other things before we heard that she had died that night. The incident caused a stir in the community, as the girl actually made the confessions in the full glare of the public.
“She was taken to some churches for prayers and spiritual deliverance where she spent days confessing and disrupting the peace of everyone there. She was even said to have confessed to be in a spiritual cult in which she already had two babies. She said she would return to her home in the occult world whenever she lost her virginity here on earth. She also revealed that she had lost her virginity recently.”
Another resident, informed that the last church that Abosede was taken to rejected her and asked her mum to take her home.
The old woman continued: “Abosede’s confessions were reported to our traditional ruler, Oba Emmanuel Adebayo (a former Commissioner of Police) who immediately ordered that the girl and her mum should report at the palace so the matter could be looked into according to the traditions of the land. The Oba sent his messenger with the royal staff, but Mrs. Adanikin lied to the bearers of the king’s message that the girl didn’t confess to committing anything. They said she only had some mental problems. But as soon as the king’s messenger left, she tied the hands and legs of the girl so as to tame her. Her neighbours said when it was late in the night, she began to beat the girl in the room where she had her locked up and eventually pushed her against some planks earlier kept there by her late father to make doors for his uncompleted building.
It was then that the girl lost consciousness. Adanikin then arranged for people who procured a coffin. She told the hired men to force her dying daughter inside the coffin for burial even when it appeared that the girl had not entirely given up the ghost. It was early the next day that Adanikin had her daughter buried. She buried the girl beside the uncompleted building of her late father, Pa Folorunso Titus Adanikin. The uncompleted building is in Mosafejo area of Emure-Ekiti. If you go there now, you will discover that there are two fresh graves there. One is for Pa Adanikin while the other is Abosede’s grave.”
One of the children of Mrs. Adanikin, Abiodun, who also spoke with the reporter, neither exonerated his mother from nor accused her of committing the act.
He told the reporter over the phone: “I would have preferred to see you before we talk about this but I’m not available now. It is true that members of our community, especially the neighbours in Idamodu area of Emure-Ekiti where my mum lives with other members of our family, are alleging that she killed our last born, late Miss. Abosede Adanikin, who until her death, was a year three student of the Ikere College of Education. However, since it didn’t happen in my presence, I cannot say that our mum killed the girl. But I cannot also say that she didn’t do it. Where one is pushed to suspect a foul play is that my mum and her sister, both of whom were said to be with the Abosede during her travails, during the alleged confessions and her reported mental derailment, suddenly disappeared the morning after they allegedly buried the girl.
“Given such circumstances, I think my mum owes us all some explanation, more so since the people alleged that she turned down the Oba’s invitation to the palace during the alleged confessions of my sister.
“Right now, we don’t know where she is; we would have heard from her what really happened that night, leading to the sudden death and hasty burial of the girl.”
Meanwhile, a woman in the area, who described herself as a relative of Mrs. Adanikin, said Abosede’s mum was incapable of killing her daughter. Arguing that it was not just possible for a mother to snuff life out of her own daughter, especially when the daughter was said to be mentally disturbed and needing help, the woman said: “Aina (Mrs. Adanikin) is not capable of hurting a fly, let alone killing her own daughter. Please don’t believe what those people are saying. How is it possible for a mother who has suffered so much to bring up a child as fully-grown as Abosede to find it easy to kill her? It is not true. It is not also true that she killed her daughter to prevent the girl from exposing their witchcraft as is being insinuated in some quarters. And as to why the woman just disappeared the next morning after the hasty burial of the deceased, she may just be afraid or too shocked and ashamed to face the people after the embarrassment that the mental imbalance displayed by the deceased has caused her. Anyone could do that. You needed to be in this town when the deceased went gaga, saying all sorts of despicable things against herself , her mum and the relatives. It had been a huge embarrassment to us all and a big disgrace also.”
While several calls were made to Oba Adebayo, a former commissioner of police, to get his reactions on the matter, were not picked, a source close to him confirmed that he indeed, sent for Mrs. Adanikin and her late daughter but was turned down. The source also said that the police would soon be brought in to investigate Abosede’s death.
A music failure- one record artist - is talking and it gets to the front page of nairaland- like his jargon song - what he says is ragga nonsense* - imagine we had to contend with his songs in the earlier 90's - he wanted to take the shine of our BLACKKY"
londoner: You may have misread the article. It is not highlighting the trains, its is actually highlighting the rail network. Which is the trans Nigeria track, that will FINALLY connect the regions of Nigeria. Connect all those cities mentioned, with 54 new stations.
That is what the vidoes and pics are highlighting the railway network, not really the trains to be used on them.
If you dont think its a good ides, fine. I do, because I live and have visited places that have good rail networks for people and goods, so I can appreciate their value. That is whether the trains were high speed or not.
Even the Uk, are embarking on a high seed railway, which is going to take 20 years. This is even though they have one of the most extensive and active rail networks in the world. Maybe by the time it is complete in 20 years, it will be obsolete (by that I think people mean, not the latest thing in vogue or in use). The railways that have been in the UK for hundreds of years are, and will still be in use, they will not be simply replaced by the new network.
So what makes railway lines fast class* a rail track is a rail track and they are all standard around the world - if the tracks are world class then we are lost* and they still continue to deceive us even in this modern times-
londoner: The track can take both commuter trains and freight, no?
When I wait for a train to take me into sentral London, freight trains, using the same track also pass. Do you dont think trains are a bad idea anywhere else in the world, whether for people or/and goods
And these high speed trains are they for freight - check them well and read them up- no one is saying the tracks can't be used for other carriages - what we are saying is if you would do high speed trains and you say it would be delivered in 25yrs to move humans and freight then for next 25yrs we are not moving forward
londoner: Well tracks dont just carry passenger trains. Goods can no longer be transported across Nigeria, by road alone. One freight train can replace soooo many lorries on the road. In Nigeria that translates to less overturned lorries with multiple casualties. It will also save time and money in transporting of goods in large volumes, including oil.
We all know the number of oil tankers on the road that have caused multiple fatalities.
Rail freight operators will also pay tax to the government.
I think Nigeria really needs this development, to be honest.
Yes nigeria need honest developments, but would you build a high speed train just to move petroleum products or grains how economical is that? Considering the cost of fare for such mobility, humans yes! Petroleum products no! They should go with the old train carriages it's cheaper! - do you have an idea of how much people pay to board those trains? It's like going by air- it's expensive even in China!
londoner: The whole point is that Nigeria will become more connected by rail, ALL regions not that as per usual Lagos is made the focus. I'd take the 25 years of simultaneous rail development across Nigeria, including lagos thanks.
If Nigeria is to truly to stand up as a country, all regions must be considered and we need to start thinking as a nation.
The returns on investment of this particular project is negative - considering the fact that economies of country exchange rates change, technology is changing - I would tell you honestly from my own point of view that if this project can not be finished with 3-4yrs - so if technology change we can adapt then it's a waste, because by the time the project finally gets off the trains would be obsolete the tracks may have change from standard to maybe a mono-rail so it can turn easily with possibly the train running without fuel but on nuclear powered uranium meaning they would not need light fuel charcoal and once they are powered on they can stay on for years burning the same fuel - moving at jet speed- the reasons are endless*
Its a wonder that even with pics of completed track, some still think its just a proposal on paper, even with the wealth of info about funding etc, some are still asking about funding?
Anyhoo......
Well I am not an engineer nor a valuer so I can't give you answers to that, but I am a broker and I should be able to access risk, look at investments - look at the ROI for such projects and state if it's profitable or not- building the abuja light rail track has taken them 6years and it still has left the ground thou they have moved them 3km's in it and they believe the project is almost complete- going back to your statement between lagos and some other states should not take more then 2yrs - If they start with that and show us proposal then we know where they are going- but they say 25yrs and people swallow it and tell me they are performing Something must be sincerely wrong with our thinking faculty - if we believe this!!
londoner: How long does it take to build a rail sysem cross a country the size of Nigeria? Does anyone know? There is also the coastal railway to, AT LAST connect all regions of Nigeria.
Is it because people here know how long a project like this should take, or they just think 25 years is a long time?
In fact many times railways are built in stages over many years, with extentions added to them accounting for population growth. I have no doubt there would have been delays from the time others drew up frameworks and now, not to ention squanderred and embezzledfunds.
Are we no longer talking about Nigeria?
I think this is a good development.
Broz nothing concerns me with your opinion but I must point something out to you- this project is a just a proposal on paper- have they put it out for tender consultancy, to cover the technical drawings and consultancy of the architectural design of the project to cover the whole terrain, have they done a comprehensive study of the profitability, which of the lines would they commence with? what is the EIA's of the project on the communities and area's it would go through ?- when would they start? from where to where? Before they start to think of expanding - how would the contract be financed? Loans or taxes - who are those they would train to operate and man such sophisticated equipment - do we have power? For sub-station running- please stop deceiving us* we know the truth and the day you accept the truth, it would set you free-
Please try to see a doctor because at this stage you are if high blood pressure doesn't kill you, hatred will!!!
Just an advise. Enjoy your day.
Just let us watch and see - they would say because the price of oil dropped so many projects couldn't be done- I beg to differ on the hatred phrase- I detest mediocrity, lies, deceit, and incompetence- someone says a project is world class and would take 25yrs and then you say this government is performing- for something we haven't seen- Bros you may need to check yourself O! And I am telling you for your own good- a lot of people have common sense here O! And we have transversed a lot of places and seen a lot of things - and sincerely we can not be bribed with 9.2b stoves, religious sentiments, born to rule phrases to create animosity, and excuses don't hold water- results is what we want to see- that's all!!!! Not map drawing that OBJ did - JEGA MY PVC oh! Scientific rigging from the source- GEJ and JEGA, I want my voters card as everyone in otuoeke has their voters card and have been registered including underaged* I want my VOTERS CARD....
This particular project was started by OBJ, Prior to me going back into paid employment, I happened to have acted as a vendor for CCECC that is doing the contract- when I tell you it's on paper it's on paper and it was on paper before this administration- Secondly a contract was awarded with no cash backing for the construction of the south rail lines- what do you think gingered this the opposition governors were doing rail links in their various states. Performance actual performance that was shown on paper and then actualised- for this government it may take another 4years and before the drawing comes out and then we start to see something on ground- so I am not interested like they say on nairaland show me a picture or idontbelieveit
calebo101: And some enemies of progress will keep deceiving their people to bomb themselves and destroy their land to make the government look weak.
They keep accusing the man of dividing the nation along religious lines yet the man keeps delivering the benefits of good governance without being biased or marginal.
Honestly the North has every reason to thank Jonathan. Their politicians mean them no good that's why they refused to build schools for them.
Jonathan has built schools for the almajiris and now I'm seeing train stations constructed and mainly domiciled in the North.
Goodluck Jonathan, posterity would judge you. Your good works would surpass you.
Even though you neglected the Niger-delta where you're from and kept pumping out oil money to the insatiable north, whenever they enter train they would keep remembering it's the clueless one that built it.
When they graduate from the almajiris school, proceed to the university cited in their domain and can study the Koran well to know good from bad, they would remember it was the "clueless bastard from otueke" that constructed it.
You the northern masses are good people we know, just your representatives are blood sucking demons. That's why instead of them to build schools for you and educate you, they went to Niger republic to build schools of 1 billion naira.
Maybe not today, maybe Jonathan may not govern you again but what you can't deny is the legacy and the path for development he has brought to your doorstep.
DEVELOPMENT ON PAPER - we want to see it now 6yrs and because of elections we see projects on paper, we are not carried along- they" know more then us -
PLEASE I AM TRYING TO PULL THE DAILY TRADES FOR JUNE - JULY ONCE I CAN GET THEM I WILL POST THEM THANK YOU

sorry i tried to retabulate it but it did retabulate for clarity.....
@princenady - @drjoshua2000 - sorry I have been able to ready your mails - I guess the network is that bad on my side of world - I can't post - it took me a while with network timing out-
yemivictor: Fantastic analogy up there, Olajide, and much thanks. However, if i'm going to offload at N153 as you have stated above, how easy is it to find a maga that'd buy at such a high rate?
Their are always buyers - buying for different reasons and that's why the price goes up- the law of demand and supply - some are buying to own the company, others are buying because of the bonuses, some are buying for the dividends - their are tonnes of reasons why would always buy or sell
yemivictor: What is the worth of the dividends they are paying?! 50 kobo per share? One Naira?!! How much has the most profitable coy in Nigeria paid it's shareholders in the last 5 years?!!!
GTB paid share holders N4 of recent - and that's it's interim dividend payment- nestle about N12 shares owned the list is endless - but because you want to buy share you purchase Daar communication or japaul and you come here and say the capital market this, the capital market that - without investment advice And you were complaining the market crashed- when you were supposed to stay their- and allow the foreign investors pull their funds dumping stocks in your laps, but no you followed them to sell - yes you would loose- and that's because you know more then us- get investment advice before you invest at most it would cost you a CSCS account opening
To help him out a bit - look at the value of 7up stocks 4 months ago it was about N100 there about look at the value today N153 - so if you had invested your 1m there 4-5months ago, which would have given you 10000unit of seven up if you decided to offload now it would have appreciated by N53- subtract charges and taxes on sale you would walk home with N48-N49 - that's how it's done- the rest - is for those that want to know- and sorry it's not gambling it's a knowledge based market more information helps you make more money - less information helps you loose money*
Reference: 10% a day on equities. Chai Nigerians and tales. I prefer to be ignorant please. She was recommending what an average person can do and will succeed in doing. You my friend have just staked your reputation. Now retract and say sorry.
Yes it's possible - and attainable but the risk is high - put you percentage at 3% per month on good equities and you can make 18-20% per annum doing it yourself
Why go to the money market when you can also get secured - fixed interest rates from the capital market- have you ever asked where majority of these funds are put into by banks - answer- the capital market* get a very good broker and erhn - you would never think of fixed deposits with a commercial bank again - or simply I.M me - the beauty of it is the interest rates vary depending on the amount from 9.5 to 14% per annum -
@ PDP apologist what do you expect 8000 people descend on 6000sqm for 2 days and you don't expect waste- Hahahaha, it's how they manage the waste in 2days after that-that matters' - moreso, it was well orchestrated by the PDP not to allow the APC use eagle square, 1. For security reasons and 2. Selfish reasons, bias, they also fixed a 30minute event to span 2 days with 1 vote - and 1 ratification, the the same eagle square was also filled with dirty, of spectators - that came to watch a single man vote for himself-
TAN is no longer singing and advertising' hahaha, for the ignorant ones the motive has been achieved ifeanyi ubah has his capital oil back with all debts paid by AMCON -
Metrofox: and there's also little evidence the BBC & UK have Nigeria's progress at heart..
The US refused to sell us arms, they blocked all countries that have solid bilateral agreements from selling to us - and you think they have our progress at heart they don't
