I have left everything in God’s hand like you said. I only indicated the Canada refusal and that was the one in my mind while filling the application form. It was after submission that I realized that I need to indicate other refusals. Relying on my travel history for positive outcome.

I suggest you withdraw your application, do necessary corrections and reapply again. That way, you will avoid receiving letter of procedural fairness which may result in rejection, ban or with God, an approval. The choice is yours. All the best ✌️

You guyz dont know IRCC, i can bet you that US refusal will affect him,he should have planned himself very well before submitting the Canada visitor visa.except he send a webform and attach the US refusal note and exaim to them tht he got refused after he submitted for visitor visa

My UK application was refused in May 2022 i think about 7 weeks after I had applied for Canadian Visa in March 2022. I didn't contact ircc about the refusal and I got my visa application approved in May 2023.

I don't know where your destination is in Canada. However, mine was Calgary. So I booked departure ticket 1st, Lagos to Amsterdam to Calgary but flight from Amsterdam to Calgary was cancelled and I was
rerouted from Amsterdam to Toronto to Calgary. Then a few days to my departure I booked my return ticket while I was still in Lagos. A few days after I got to Calgary I cancelled the return ticket and I was refunded. So, I'll book my return ticket when I'm close to leaving Canada. You can have one stop over in Europe. For example, if its KLM, 1 stop in Amsterdam and fly to Canada, USA but has to be outside Europe. Again, if it's Air France, you can only do 1 stop in Paris and fly out of Europe except you have transit visa/ Schengen visa. I hope this helps. Cheers

I guess they know authentic tickets by seeing it on your phone or the hard copy.

Well, i can't really dispute your point. However, i had a different experience at Pearson Airport. Initially i booked my flight from Lagos to Amsterdam to Calgary(my destination). I avoided Pearson Airport as well. But as fate would have it, the day i was meant to travel, my flight from Amsterdam to Calgary was cancelled and rerouted to Toronto then Calgary. I had no choice but to fly that route. On landing at Pearson Airport, I summoned the courage to face the immigration officer. Our conversation went thus:
IM Officer: Can i have your passport
Me: I handed it to him
IM Officer: Why are you in Canada?
Me: I'm here to visit my family(Spouse & Child have PR)
IM Officer: Where are they?
Me: Calgary
IM Officer: 1st time in Canada?
Me: Yes
IM Officer: When are you leaving?
Me: In a month's time.
IM Officer: Do you have a return ticket?
Me: Yes
IM Officer: Can I see it?
Me: I showed it to him on my phone.
IM Officer: Welcome to Canada
Me: Thank you.
I left and went my way to board my connecting flight to Canada. Our discussion was about 3 mins and that was it. This was about 2weeks+. Just ensure you have necessary documents, cash to cover your stay just incase you are asked. Maybe mine was easy because i have my family here or it was God or both. Be prayerful as well. Not that I know it all, I have that first and info concerning Toronto POE, and that's why I'm helping people here with it, Toronto POE border officers are very strict and they can refuse people entry into Canada, they do it many times, so I'm just trying to help in a little way I can to save my fellow African brothers and sisters from such bad experience , you know once they turn you back flight ticket to and fro don burn be that, maybe over 2m naira... Many people even do borrow the money to go self, some sell their cars or house, so where such person wan go raise that kind money again if Toronto POE send am back?


Pls always pass Montreal POE if it's your first time, even if you are going for visit in Ontario which is in Toronto, yes Montreal border officers will ask you why u come thru Montreal when ur destination is Ontario... Don't tell them because you heard they are nice ooo and Toronto POE is harsh o, them go send u back be that, just tell them it's your ticketing agent that booked the flight for you that he said as at the time this flight was the cheapest he got, so you didnt mind, with such excuse they will pass you in.

Update on my case: so I appealed the visa denial that I got in May and I just received my PPR

I submitted along with my parents and my father received his PPR last month… his passport has been stamped with a 10 year visa (he renewed his passport before submitting)

Still waiting for an update on my mom’s case.

I got the idea to appeal from this page. Thank you everyone

They won't even ask you. I went there personally to submit and it was not asked even though I went with the consent forms. Others that went personally can also say if it was requested though. But in my case, they didn't ask me.

The wait is finally over… Omo.. I had to send emotional messages via webform and email on Friday… Thanks guys.. My advice is just keep sending messages till the VO with a soft heart finds it…

I was so scared cos they had reviewed it before and the status had changed

Fortunately, 2 hours later I received an email for both of them and it was PPR

Hello guys. So I just got my passport from VFS Lagos. I submitted on May 25, 2023 and got a mail last night that it was in Lagos and ready for collection. Just incase you want to go to Vfs Lagos for collection of passport, go there early btw 9 & 10 am. Don't wait till 12pm o. As I type, people are still there collecting as at 4:50pm. Over 300 people have been there to collect today. Cheers.

From my own experience and couple others i know, note: when you submit in lagos all passport are gathered and taken to abuja on Friday(whether you submit moday oo or Wednesday, it will taken to Abuja friday) then worked on during the week and returned back Friday.
What I'm saying is this, all submitted passport from 29th till yesterday gets delivered to abuja yesterday and will be returned this coming Friday

Not true. I submitted mine in person to Lagos vfs last week Friday. Today makes it exactly one week or exactly 4 working days. Got a email this evening that it’s ready for collection. So my analysis states it doesn’t matter if it’s Abuja or Lagos. It’s just grace.

I think what that mail states is that its in Vfs Abj and ready to be dispatched to Vfs Lagos where you will collect it. So I believe when it gets to Lagos, you will get another mail to inform you of collection. My opinion though.

Yeah I got mails from them regarding the movement of my passport. Though its yet to get back to Lagos. Submitted last week Thursday May 25.

@seyijohnkel Obviously there is nothing the embassy can do. You have to have some proof of some sort in order to show you have been given a visa or something. That's just the way I see it. Unless you may want to start re-applying again..

Should you be asked for visa number , you can't show , UCI number? I doubt.
So it's best to reapply as it stands and do it real quick!

What about the papers he got from biometrics. He should look through he'll find email, uci etc.
