Here is another angle for you. See Him as the sun in our galaxy, the sun is in the centre and all other planets revolve around the sun as a result of its pull on every planet. So He also did with the Tree of Good and Evil being superior to every other Tree in the garden BUT equal to the Tree of Life(being that both are placed at the center of the garden).

So the question is why would God bring man into something that could destroy him
