@ipio, slight bosom pains two weeks before a period is absolutely normal for me, it usually happens during ovulation, atimes i even feel slightly nauseated aswell (all ovulation symptoms) i saw a doctor who told me it was normal, but i guess our bodies are different so you could still see ur doc to be double sure, but i dont think it shld be an issue sha

Hello, I need urgent help please. I have been having very mild pelvic pain since february after my miscarriage. It was on and off, a lot of times I actually felt like it was in my head. Earlier this month, pid was suspected and I have taken antibiotics for a month. However, the pain is still consistent. It is not very painful, but I just know something isn't right. I came into accident and emergency yesternite and exaggerated the pain a bit to get urgent treatment because my GP hasn't taken me seriously. Now the docs want to perform a laparoscopy on me tomorrow. I am very scared, a bit of me is thinking the pain isn't that bad and I shouldn't allow them operate on me. What are the risks involved in a laparoscopy? Dyu think with mild pain, I should consent to having one? Should I manage the pain with pain kiLlers instead? Please help!!! I'm really scared

Can I ask what caused the blocked tube. I found out that I had pid after a late miscarriage in january and I am just getting treated for it. Though my std tests are negative, my doctor feels it is from bacteria after the miscarriage. What are the risks of having pid for almost 6 months?

i had premature rupture of the membranes at 24weeks, was pregnant up until 24+3 then had an anteparum haemorrhage which has been referred to as an abruption. The post-mortem placental examination showed acute chorioamnionitis with funsitis, a retroplacental clot and intrauterine pneumonia for the baby.

Do u think an incompetent cervix could have caused the rupture even though my cervix was closed at 24weeks and i stayed pregnant for 3days afterwards? What are the chances of it happening again? How soon can i try again? Am i a candidate for a cerclage? and please what other factors could have caused the rupture asides an incompetent cervix?

@ejadamen, thanks, when I saw the doctors they believe that my pprom was caused by an infection rather than an incompetent cervix because i was in labour for about five hours. they said this was normal as i did not need to dilate fully to deliver at 24weeks. Did your waters break too? were you in labour aswell? Now about the cerclage, what is the risk of infection from the procedure? Am a really a candidate for cerclage? The doctor says they do not diagnose incompetent cervix after one pprom so having the cerclage is based on my decision. I would take any precaution to prevent another occurence. what other precautions are you taking alongside the cerclage? Thanks a lot.

@oduamine, It is well IJN, i dunno wot to say because my spirit is still very low, but i want to that the Lord will never forsake us, we will rejoice in due time. one good thing about this forum is that we have all been through some form of pain or the other so we have an idea of how it feels as opposed to those who have had it very easy. Like I said before, It is well.

@ejademen, Congratulations!! ur testimony will be permanent in Jesus name. U're one of the reasons I joined this forum cos i think my case is similar to what u went through. I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow to discuss what went wrong but from personal research, I am thinking I would need the cerclage next time. I wouldn't mind any info that could help. hi everyone, i'm new here but i have followed this topic for as long as i can remember, i'm really down and sad right now and this is the first time am becoming a part of any online forum or even expressing how i feel to any one.

i lost my son 6weeks and 1 day ago. its the worst thing that can happen to anyone. he was 24weeks old and was very healthy only that he was too young to breathe on his own. To say i am traumatized is putting it lightly but nothing in life seems to interest me anymore. he died in my arms, looked exactly like me and had his dads hair. That day replays itself in my head every time, he stayed on this earth for just 25mins. i am consoled by the fact that he's in heaven and i know i'll see him someday, soon and trust me, i'll spank him for putting me through what he put me through. i feel empty, very light and atimes i feel like he's still kicking in my womb, he used to kick a lot. my hubby n I still trying to cope but its not easy. he was our first and we looked forward soo much to his arrival (at term). Sadly enough, hubby has returned to nigeria so am all by myself. atimes, i feel like am running mad, especially when i google preterm birth and see all the gory info on it. i know one day and pretty soon, i'll rejoice in Jesus name. i feel better now for letting out steam. it is well in Jesus name.
