Hey boss, Olamilec. I started my waves journey today. Although, I had all products except conditioner and wave cap which I'll be getting this week. My question is, when taking a shower should you need to protect the hair? Generally how's it done. I anticipate a response.
How are you doing and I hope this reply find you well? You can use shower cap to protect your hair while showering but not almost every time, but the most important thing is to wash your hair twice a week with shampoo in washing away dirt from the products used.

Hi Olamilec...

Thanks for all you do.

Please I want to know if there is any need for the company to also be registered in Nigeria before the registration in SA.

No, you don’t have to register any company in Nigeria or even have any before registering a company here.

This is very informative. Is it true that many Nigerians consumes various type of hard drugs?
People live there life on how they dim it fit, but here you will face your reality and know who you are and if you can’t control your person then South Africa will teach your sense.

On paper the processes is not less than 300k but in reality it is sometimes more than 800k... and we all know the determining factors.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Am sorry for not been here lately, it is due to some unforeseen circumstances which God had push by.

RANDOM INPUTS AND ADVICE

It doesn’t matter which kind of businesses you’re doing, try to register a company and operate through your company account, e get why!
The Why:
1. You have a standardised identity.
2. Your operated account can be used for insurance
3. For Japaing, it is easy proof of documentations and funding
4. Renting house/apartment will be easy knowing how to use your company documentations
5. Source to helping people back home for visa
6. Supporting documentations
7. Business partnership
And many more.

The System is White, and if you know how to go about or have someone that understands it then you’re very lucky. Hence, let us use this time of Covid-19 Pandemic to teach ourselves the terrains, seek knowledge, relations, business, education, and surviving the system.

Scenarios:
1: Aunty it doesn’t matter maybe you’re selling and hawking food, register a company and be using your company account, you don’t know what is coming your way.
2: Same applies to 2, those people coming to extort you because they understand you don’t have proper documentations to be operating that groceries store / saloon.
3: Brotherly, you have that money ankiri, it is high time you make yourself properly documented even if you don’t have health insurance, and having a lawyer is very cheap (R50p/m) at least cause you don’t know when you will need one.

Thank you @olamilec for taking time explain in a clear manner.

Please is the rental quotes on monthly or yearly basis?
Yes, it’s per monthly basis.

I am also interested in knowing how to secure the PR through the acquisition of a property.
It is possible, but that will be on a professional discussion, cause we have to take few things into considerations.

Thanks once again.

Happy New Year

Please I need key tips/information on how to buy a house in SA, and the type of accomodation type to buy and the common conditions and challenges associated with it

And the best province to get the property as a Nigerian for better ROI.?

Apart from Cape town, which other place or places is best to raise children?

Olamilec:

Thanks for the audience, appreciated.

Am coming back to this later...

Okay, am back!
Though I don’t know how I will tackle these questions in a layman’s language as possible, but I promised to try my best though my best may not be enough for some people, sorry am not perfect just trying to help.

Please I need key tips/information on how to buy a house in SA, and the type of accomodation type to buy and the common conditions and challenges associated with it

Buying a house in South Africa take understanding of what type of house and/or apartment will be okay for you.

Type House /Apartment
House: Two/Three House in a Nigeria type compound fenced alone or in a complex with security
Apartment: One/Two Bedrooms in a security complex.

Base on my understanding on research: both house/apartment are good investments but apartments give more ROI cause of the security and other services included to ease stress, and our people and other look for apartments more, though am not saying people don’t rent houses. Assuming you’re a single person or married without kids and have money to buy a house/apartment - it’s better to stay in a bachelor of around R3000 while your house/apartment will be rented out at around R4500 - R7000 depending on the area, whereby you will have savings on your investment and why also saving through your day to day work / hustle.
Then if you’re big man / madam *smile* just buy a house outrightly and enjoy your life LOL (Life is good when you’re in money)

Note: Buying a house can give you a Permanent Resident if you know your way.

And the best province to get the property as a Nigerian for better ROI.?

I can only base my assumption on the province am more familiar and used to, rather than want to cover all provinces which is not in my capacity.

Buying apartments in a security complex is viable and yield more on ROI cause those are the most sort after type of apartment in high demands, also for people that knows people in high places or are moneyed can buy luxuries apartments / duplexes which can be resale after finalised documentation.

Apart from Cape town, which other place or places is best to raise children?

In my own perspective, this will depend on your own financial capacity, and the area(s) / province(s) that’s best comfortable for you, which I preferred raising my children in Gauteng or KZN based on the diversification of cultural heritages, education and also high concentrations of our people.

Nice one op ...
Pls can u share with us few things especially about hustling in SA Also total cost of incurring d visa plus ticket from Nija n as well life generally there n accommodation...tnx in anticipation

Let me start from here that, if you don’t have enough money to survive in SA don’t come or agreed to waste part of your years in exchange for it, (understanding from experience) cause those people that promise you heaven and earth, you don’t know their status, and those that have legal docs don’t want you to come put sand sands for their garri, but that doesn’t mean their some that wouldn’t help. That been said, let us talk about how you can survive here without bordering people which is why I said: “have enough money”.
I can’t talk about those that are just seeking for visas, but rather those that have already gotten their visas and also we that are here.

Do you know that our brothers and sisters are still acting or want to follow the means to survive in Nigeria which doesn’t have too much application here because getting stability here takes common sense, determination and discipline.

To be continue...

You’re right, exchanging Rand to Naira or vise versa is through man know man, not formal which can be formalised and secured for our good at least we are all here to improve our lives.

Has anyone had issues with SAQA non compliance and how long do you wait after resubmitting the application?
Will they accept old transcripts addressed to them while the new one still been sorted out in their quarantine facility?
I read somewhere non compliance issue leads to making a new application with payment.

i saw that we’re entitled to work 20 hours per week with our student visa. the real question now is that do international students actually find work in SA? please if you’re in south africa or you’re well informed kindly shed light on this

In my own perspective and experience, it’s very hard to get job here, I repeat very hard but if you’re lucky and a die hard hustler then you can get something doing in your institution of study but that will not still not amount to nothing that you can support yourself with.
Make sure you’re covered for a year at least, cause it’s very hard but with Grace of God life is peaceful.
