Both of you have many things in common anyway - football, intelligence. You are both opinionated and I guess you're both high-flying. So hook up and chill out and make out. It's better when done around 'poles'. cheesy cheesy

Seriously though, just trying to call a truce.
No. Whining about the naming of something good is the characteristic of a hater. This is a good initiative, so people need to leave the guy alone. I dont think the kids will care. And them seeing "Ajumo mo" every day they read is not a bad thing. It reminds them of the need for collective learning. Good psychological strategy. I am an independent by the way, so why are you bringing up PDPhuh PDP is too busy looting to care for these kids who otherwise would have to drop out of school because they cant afford books. undecided
Okay baby wink
Really, people are still complaining about naming of tablets? Shows this is a good initiative. When people have absolutely nothing to complain about. Shame on you all. Who cares, as long as kids have access to books and learning, he can name it after his mother. Congrats to the kids too. smiley
grin grin Okay. Will call you out when you complain about a PDP-related 'naming.'

omonnakoda: well I have said that several times above but he is a politician so are you not being naive expecting otherwisehuh
But doing so is expensive and it's against the principle of continuity in government. Do you sincerely expect another administration not to rename these things? I'm so sure it's expensive as even sundry things like letterheads, files, etc will have to be binned and re-contracted.

He's expected to indulge in something better than this pettiness.
PoliticsRe: "Ajumo'mo" Learning Tablet To Be Launched By Oyo State by Olaone1: 4:20pm On Jun 11, 2013
omonnakoda: Yes you are right but so what?
Certainly he is playing politics but that is human nature and for now, he has not run out of goodwill
That is not the main thing and certainly not a matter for Non_Oyo people .The Oyo people who voted him are sophisticated enough to deal with that if they need to without any external help.It is a shame that we spend so much time and energy on that issue rather than on the main thing which is the benefit of the initiative.
Thank you. I just want y'all to admit he's playing politics.

Then we can discuss the benefits wink
PoliticsRe: "Ajumo'mo" Learning Tablet To Be Launched By Oyo State by Olaone1: 4:08pm On Jun 11, 2013
Ajimobi knows that most citizens of his State call him "Ajumobi." Don't let's go into stretching the tonality of our language. What's "Ajumo" about something meant for individuals. . . . something meant for personal use? What has "collaborative knowledge/learning" got to do with a tab? What is collaborative about this device?
C'mon guys.

Ayatullah:
I want to believe you are the great eediot, Oyo State is full of people with deep rooted knowledge in Yoruba Language who could have come up with a far better SOUNDING and MEANINGFUL name, can you compare the brilliant name OPON IMO with this clumpsy name AJUMO'MO? Let me lend you just a better word OPON OYE. You cannot just run away from the word OPON (meaning TABLET). IMO and OYE means knowledge. To just say AJUMO'MO does not convey properly the Tablet Project, yet kudos to the Oyo state Governor for the laudable project.

Thank you. Your comment is a breath of fresh air because I can see blatant sophistry perching and flying around on this thread. undecided

Coogar and AJ need to meet up in a cosy place. I suggest a strip club in London. AJ, on your next trip to Bligthy, hook up with Coogar and hang out together.

One love.

Anyone who doesn't understand the correlation between Ajimobi, Ajumo'mo, Keke Ajumose, Ajumose Shuttle, etc, is not a politician or he/she is just wittingly playing to the gallery.

Or simply being unnecessarily noxious. undecided

PoliticsRe: Dele Momodu: My Candid Take On 2015 by Olaone1: 2:05pm On Jun 09, 2013
Peterwins: My own view: If GEJ secures the 2015 PDP ticket he will likely use the USA and money to appease Tinubu discreetly. The US (the real capitalists cannot work with Buhari) can easily tell Tinubu to stand down (secretly) because they can easily pull the plug off him. The majority of the North central (NC)/middle belt will likely vote GEJ rather than a core Hausa/fulani from the NW or NE especially as a result of the constant fulani herdsmen clashes with farmers and other Northern minorities. The SS and SE will obviously get a GEJ block vote despite Rochas and the Amaechi saga. GEJ will also get substantial votes from Southern Kaduna (NW), Adamawa (NE) and a few votes from minorities in other NW and NE states. But these will come only after a lot of money (maybe half of 2015 budget) have changed hands. Time will tell.

But this position can only be tackled effectively if the NW and NE supports a popular candidate from the middle belt as President and also a popular candidate from the SW (perhaps Fashola as VP). But will they?

PS: I am non-partisan and anything can still happen in politics.
Trust me, you understand politics.

Pukkah: I don't know what you saw before you made him your mentor/role model but obviously you don't/didn't know Sanusi. What's happening now is not a surprise to many people in the know.

By the time you get to know many more things you'll see that his posturings (which have started to put him in trouble) were fake. His Achille's heel remains women and reckless spending. I just hope that there aren't more scoops on him in these areas.

I once gently mentioned to you to say less about your relationship with him.
You did.

And, I also like/liked Sanusi. 'Dciik usage' is okay but nepotism at that level? Nah-nah. But this in Naija.

I actually thought he was above board. He is human but he was too vociferous about integrity, honesty and rule of law.
