When he knew he had a firearm on him, and also had his car's plate suspiciously placed in the wrong place. All these contributed to making the officers suspicious. While I believe some black dudes can be stubborn at times, this particular situation is nothing of such.


1. When he was stopped, he wasn't in a well lit area, but he had his light on signifying that he intends to find a suitable place to park. Also, his fears were justified based on recent occurrences

2. He was told specifically and LOUDLY to put his hands up, bearing in mind that he is an army officer that can have a gun on. He COMPLIED immediately, and then he was told to get out of the car, he then asked why was he being stopped. That exactly is a valid and good response, you don't make arrest without informing the SUSPECT what it's about unlike in Nigeria.
Also, if he had put his hands down, it is very possible that he'll be shot.

3. Nothing warrants pulling a gun on an army officer, that had the dealers tag on, complied to your order to raise his hands up.....talkless of pepper spraying and kicking him without any justification

4. He was even stylishly threatened of his career being destroyed if he made a complaint.


So my brother, while I believe some black dudes can be idiots sometimes, this particular case is far from it and what he did actually saved his life

point 5 isn't true. He was ordered to step out of the car for over 20 times and he refused. Before that, he drove for over a mile before finally stopping. Put yourself in the shoes of the policeman. Is that not a red flag that something is off?

There are 2 contradicting orders: show your hands, get out of the car. If he'd put his hand down to open the car, he'd be shot dead, and the officer will claim he thought he's going for his weapon. Not putting his hands down save him that day

No, the op didn't complete the post.
The collateral is not yours, but you can tender it to Sharia court, the judge will then order it to be sold (you don't have the right to sell it yourself) and refund your money. If it's more than what he owe you, the balance will be returned to the debtor and if it's not up to it, the debtor will still be held to pay the balance.

Next time you want to buy anything from the US like electronics etc use Amazon. Shop from amazon and at check out pay for priority international express. Amazon will then send it through DHL or UPS. Once it arrives Nigeria DHL and UPS does the customs clearance for you, you don't pay a dime to Nigerian customs because it's already in the shipping fees you paid while shoppong at Amazon.com

This is what I always do whenever I shop from the US. And it takes an average of just 4 to 5 working days to get to me once its shipped from the US.

This ain't true bro. I recently bought an Huawei Nova 5i Pro, seller put a price of $220 on it although I actually paid $350. Shipped with dhl for $55 and yet, I was still called by DHL to pay a custom duty of approx 55k before clearance.
I later yawa for them, Las Las, na 34k I paid for the claerance.
