OjaP: Please and Please, if ASU (above-in bold)means Arizona State University, I will advise and even beg you to run away from the state of Arizona patapata. They are so harsh and rude when it comes to immigration. That is a state in the US where it is legal for a policeman to just stop a black man or any foreigner at random and ask for his/her papers. Any unsatisfactory explanation is subject to deportation straight. I will never advise my enemy to school there especially if he/she is a foreigner.

flynbird: Does anyone know why a school would need a U.S address to process international applications? The school asked if I have any friends or family members in the U.S. that would let me use their address? Seems strange to me!

@Yvete, many naija girls in US are complicated, mostly when they've been here even a month ahead of you but when they're still in Naija and meet Naija-US guys on social networks, they turn to mumu (more reason my fb is in full offline).

Square65: Justwise, I think we can still afford to accommodate a somewhat interesting topic just to keep the thread alive during this period of sparse inquiries. I would rather have it derailed a little bit during this period than have the thread in the state it has been for the last one month during when we had an average posting of abt 3/4 per day.

And yes, I support that students/visa inquiries should be given priority.

flynbird: I just registered for toefl in ibadan, through an agent I met online google search.... I went to his office and paid 35,000 and he gave me Toefl material, a CD.. What makes me wonder is just 5min after departing his office I got an email from toefl stating I was registered for March 8 in a test centre in ibadan! .. I wonder how these agents get these dates. SMH

The website is showing available dates for toefl exam but there is another drop down bar where u select test center in the state but it doesn't show any test center for ibadan even when I go to May dates,. When u click on ur city, it automatically shows the available dates for the exams but getting a centre is not coming up... Lagos and other cities show dates too but if you want a centre you'll have to check the very late dates such as May but ibadan doesn't even show any centres but dates, so I'm thinking the phone registration would be the best alternative
