Paywole: TNT is the cheapest 12500.fedex like 23k or so cant remember dt actual figure again jare bt i used TNT Wow! That's very cheap, even with the pick-up service. So, someone will just walk into any of their Nigerian office and schedule the pick-up ba?. |

Paywole: Schedule a pick up with any courier service here in nigeria and give them the schools address but try and make sure you call their kearnery international office first and inform them about your plans on how you wish to get the I-20 from them..i used TNT then for mnsu and they delivered my I-20.. How much did you pay for the pick-up plus delivery?. |

mr swagger: Hello house, I hail all the gurus in da house, my guy Bigfrancis, imperiouxx, kpolli and everyone in da house
Please I intend receiving my i-20 from Minnessota state university, Mankato and the school said I can receive it through fedEx or DHL by signing up to eshipglobal.
After i signed up to eshipglobal, I couldn't proceed in knowing the rate of my shipment because the system said I entered an invalid address.
I correctly wrote out my home and email address but it still gives me the same error.
I also saw on their website that they don't accept credit cards from Nigeria. I just don't know what to do now.
My sponsor tried getting a US contact for me but all efforts proved abortive so I intend receiving my i-20 package by eshipglobal.
I don't want to use regular mail to receive my document because the school said it will take 3-6 weeks before it gets to me but I even think it might even take longer than that and that is suicide.
Pls who in the house has used eshipglobal or anyone having the same issues with me should please guide me through. I need your help. See ba, I had the same issues with eshipglobal when I wanted to receive my I-20 from Moorhead. At first it was the address ish and later the credit card too. I was so angry that I sent them a very blunt email that they should cease being the school's courier agent if they won't accept credit cards from Nigeria. It is very annoying, if I could pay the school's application fee with my credit card without any problem, then why can't I pay for the delivery of my I-20 from the same school with that same card?. So my brother, the best option You have is to look for a US address for the school to mail your I-20 to and then get it mailed from there with Fedex. I even searched and searched for a pick-up arrangement during my time, but I did'nt get any but You can search on google too sha. You could get lucky. |

umoski1: Hi Everyone.Had my interview today in Abuja and i must say it went well even though i wasnt granted a visa :....I answered all questions from the VO and he was about handing me a green ticket when he stopped and asked for my Letter of acceptance,i handed it over to him and after checking for a while,he said he cant issue me a visa this time and i asked him why,he took his time to explain to me that my presentations and documents are very okay but Community colleges dont stand a chance,he went as far as telling me that there's a 98% guaranty denial of visa for anyone who picked a community. He told me to choose a University and come back and then i will stand a chance. My fellow People, pls try and get a good university cos community colleges are screwed.thats my advise.anyways am on the internet now searching for a good university for Fall Semester. Thanks Sorry about the delay... That has always been the advice from gurus on this thread. Get a good university, go back for the interview and claim what is rightfully yours. Wish You all the best. |

Me: because they have seasoned professors in my field of interest Vo: what other school did you apply to? Me: I applied to a uni in canada(MUN) and texas a&m uni kingsville Vo: why did you choose TTU over TAMUK? Me: its because TTU offered me full funding Vo: what course did you do in your masters? Me: I have not done masters, am going for a post bachelors phd program so I will get my masters along the way. Vo: what course did you study in undergraduate? Me: I have a bachelor of science in nursing Vo: do you have any relative in US? Me: yes, I have 4 siblings(mentioned what they are doing) Vo: all are studying in US? Me: yes Vo: are you married? dimejibab: @mr olarwalay....pls,i have posted a thread yestaday but since then i av not gotten any reply.pls,i need an urgent answer to my request and i guess u can help me out.i want to apply for america student visa sequealing to admission given to me at houston community college, houston texas.pls,i need all the likely quetions and answer to the question i may be asked.thanks,im counting on u The chances of getting your visa with a community college's I-20 is very slim, though there's nothing impossible as i have read about people who got their's on this thread. My own advise from the human point of view is to apply to a university instead, take the TOEFL and SAT exams and then go for your interview. Goodluck! |

mario2575: Please I am expecting my i-20 in a few days but but I don't have a TOEFL and GRE score because my university waived it for me. What are my chances of getting the visa since I haven't taken any exams? Or is it compulsory to have taken them because the school I applied to doesn't need them It's always advisable to take tests to be on the saver side but since it's too late for you to take any of the above mentioned, all you need is the FAVOR OF GOD. Search the thread for interview of those who did not take these tests and got their visa, so you can learn how they were able to scale through. Most importantly, PRAY! PRAY!! and PRAY!!!. God is all you need to succeed and i wish you the best. |

mr swagger: @Olarwalay, thnx for your kind response. I will take the same route with you as well. I will tell my sponsor to look for a US address for me so that I will mail it there and they will then mail it to me.
It seems faster that way. Because me I dey fear to use regular mail, that is why I said I will ask you first before I make any drastic step.
@olarwalay, Did you pay the school to mail it to your cousin in US?
And also how much did your cousin pay to mail it to you through fedex? Hw long did it take the package to get to you? Yes, it's better that way. Mine took just five working days to get here from Texas. I did not pay the school for the mailing, so you don't have to pay too. I hope you've called your international admissions officer that he/she should not mail your I-20 by regular mail yet?. I remember reading on the school's website that accepted student's admission package would be mailed to them after 3 days of the admission notification, and this will be by regular mail. If you have, then all you need to do is call the international admission officer again and tell him/her that you'll like to change your mailing address to your sponsor's US address. Then send the US address to his/her email address immediately after calling. |

mr swagger: @Olarwalay, wats up bro, hope u cool.
I saw your previous post, when u posted about being accepted to Minnesota state university and you were required to pay for i-20 shipping fee.
I have also gotten admission as well to Minnesota state university.
I intend receiving my i-20 package by regular mail but will like to hear from you first before I proceed further.
I will like to know if you have received your i-20 package and how long did it take you to receive it through regular mail? because the last time I checked you concluded on receiving your i-20 package through regular mail. I changed my mind about receiving it by regular mail because I figured it would take time before it gets here. So I ended up asking the school to mail it to my cousin in the US and then He mailed it to Me through Fedex. I got it since last week. |

Me:well Dixie state has a very strong computer science program and highly knowledgable professors being that they have the highest no of Phd holders in the state of Utah and practical approach in their teaching...Vo:what do you intend to gain from this course of study?..Me:I choose this course of study because the world is being computerrised right now and earing a degree in IT.
