Family › Re: What Lesson Has Life Taught You So Far? by Olas121: 1:56pm On May 10, 2022 |
Znation: Hello keep knowing true God and do his will Nairalanders,
What lesson has life taught you?
Is it what you've thought it is?
Is where you are today were you thought you would be by now?
" I remember growing up as a child, i thought life is just six years in primary school, six in secondary, the following year for jamb, next is to gain admission into the universty, spend another 4 or 5 years in the universty, look for job, get the money, build my house and buy the latest car in town, and then look for a wife.
But while growing up, i find out that life is not what i thought it is. Six years in secondary turned 8 years rather.
I know of my childhood friend who told me he would become a lawyer, but haven repeatedly written jamb for 5 times without a break through, he was force to start learning a mechanic work.
Sometimes, i ask myself; what is the purpose of living, why is living a life so difficult.. At this point in time, my lesson is that nothing good comes easy; and to be happy, you have to make others happy too.
Have a nice day |

RealMarv: You Talk to God feel down, uninspired and lazy; plus at the same time angry because you’re not doing anything. You want to lift your mood and be productive but feel stuck. You might feel down because you’re tired, overworked, overwhelmed or something bad happened to you.
It’s okay and normal to feel uninspired sometimes and I think everyone goes through these phases in life. However, when they become too long, you might want to use some strategies to lift your mood and get yourself back on track. So I was wondering how folks get to lift their spirits when they feel down. I'd like to hear your strategies. |

You fall for the trap. Be a goodbadguy jaelz: So I met this girl sometime back in March in Abuja she was very beautiful and was working in a spa back then, I approached her and collected her number after which she never picked my calls or replied my chats after I tried contacting her afterwards.
Fast-forward to last two weeks she contacted me out of the blues that she was sick, didn't have transport fare to work, she was broke and didn't have any money for food as she hasn't eaten in a days.
I got dressed and meet her in the location she gave me and bought her some little foodstuff and provisions then gave her 3k to hold for transportation to work until they pay her at work.
Guys could you believe that this girl blocked and deleted my number the next day? I tried calling and she it was telling me busy till I used another phone to call it and it went through, I asked her why she did that after I revealed my identity and she couldn't say a word she was just mute on the phone for about 30 seconds till I cut off the call.
I am still so shocked as to why some women behave they way they behave atimes. |

Spontaneous007: Good evening my fellow nairalanders,
I hope you guys are safe and sound wherever you are? Please let's continue to be watchful.
Today, I saw death with my naked eyes.
It all started around some minutes after 4 when we heard gunshots fired into the air. I was at work at that moment and we had to stop everything we were doing and move out immediately. Though before today, we were warned that there will be cults clash in Ojota on the 7th of July because that day was known to be the aiye confraternity day.
My boss volunteered to take us home in his car and drop us at the nearest stop to our house. On our way, the atmosphere was tensed and everyone was running helter skelter. We could hear sporadic shootings Faraway. When my boss dropped us at our nearest bustop, I amd my colleague took a bike going to our street. On our way down the street, a police bus hit our bike so hard that we fell to theground. They shot at us but we had gotten to the ground before the bullets could get to us. My colleague was badly injured but I wasn't. Though I was the must vulnerable because I was sitting behind him.
They pursued us thinking we were cult members. Omo come and see race ... I never know I could run so fast. I threw away my phone and bag... I later went back to carry it after they left. Thank God for life. Thank you Jesus |
