Hello everyone, so i paid for a new MRV and the problem is I don’t know how i going to get it into use as I don’t know how i am going to cancel the old visa schedule date….I placed a call to the embassy and i eas told i have to keep rescheduling my appointment until i can’t anymore and it ask me to input another MRV details and i have been trying to do that but I can’t even reschedule as it says there is no date available…….Someone please help me as i am runnung out of time, i need an interview date asap cos my program is expected to start 9th of June

I reapplied for the EA again and i got denied again and this time the EA tab is gone…what do i do now cos i sent all the documents i was meant to send this time and I don’t seem to know what the problem is…..my program starts june 9 and i’m running out of time
Also i want to know if i pay for a new visa fee do i need to fill a new ds-160

You can still use same ds160 and no need to fill another one provided you are okay with what you filled there.

Try and use it to apply for EA still it’s showing but if the site update after 24-48 hours it might not be showing request EA.

Give it trial and if it doesn’t work then get a new visa fee and request for fresh EA

No I didn’t sign on it as i am just finding out now that i should have done that

Lemme ask are you going for FALL 2022 or Summer 2022 because If you are going for FALL 2022, your resumption date can’t be June 9th.

Also if you got denied for emergency date it could still be because your Visa fee has once been used to cancel interview date before.

Since you can only cancel once on a visa fee you hard get emergency date with it unless you are lucky the person processing it over look it.

My program is for summer 2022 and and i got denied EA at abuja, on my portal it still show i can still apply for an EA. The question now is do I abandon it and pay for a new visa fee and if i’m doing that do i need to fill another ds-160

My EA request got approved today after switching to Abuja from Lagos (after waiting a month with no response from Lagos) with the same MRV fee. Please if I pick the earliest available date, would I be able to reschedule if another earlier date shows up? Please does anybody know if an earlier date would even show up?

yes. May 17th was the first available date I chose. I was able to choose an earlier date of May 5th a few days later. You need to choose what’s immediately available and keep trying for a better date before the EA approval expires.
