Alex is willing to come in, though there are rumours JM is not favourably disposed to him Ballack to me has made more impact than sheva and might still improve in the season. sheva doesnt seem to have it in him any longer. though both are definitely not justifying the huge investments in them yet |
drogba's best season yet. while henry (arguably) could be declining, drogba is about hitting his peak |
hate chelsea all you like, it wont change the fact that we are a force to reckon with and will continue to be for a long time to come. |
Are u a christian and u find it hard to believe these things, or you want to become one and you find it hard to believe these due to insufficient evidence to back such claims? 1Peter 1:8 says: "Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,". That to me is the essence of our faith. Christians are BELIEVERS. If you are a christian and you have doubts about some of these things, you can prayerfully deal with it. It says in 2Peter 1:16 that we do not follow after cunningly deviced fables. His Divine birth, the life he lived here on earth, his death and resurrection are key truths of the christian faith. without them you would be talking about a different religion. |
Please tell them! missing dog or not, we're sure to trash the manures come 19th |
Sean25:this is just beautiful. it immediately conjures the memory of a loved one. funny where inspiration originates from atimes |
sure, i get your drift. but look at this way. if u are being disturbed by pests in a building with a lot of rooms and with lots of porous entrances. it will be hard if not impossible to deal with them in your single room, don't you think? you have to fashion out a way of tackling it with the other occupants of the building. the almajiri issue is a north-wide one and rather sensitive and it has to be tackled collectively. that's why i think it is rather unfair to use that issue as a yardstick for his term as governor |
it is rather unfair to judge a governor especially in the northern part of nigeria for not tackling the almajiri. just like it has been noted you have to view it in a broader framework; there is the issue of migration from neighboring countries. then you also have neigbhoring states to contend with. it's just like a single state attempting to eradicate highly infectious diseases like polio in isolation, it won't work, you simply get reinfected by your neighbours. but i think we need to have more information about what 8 years was like in katsina under Yar'adua. what was the focus of his administration and what level of success did he achieve. what was his style of administration? what level of leadership did he exhibit? does he believe in merit or in cronyism? these are a few of the question i think need answers so that we know what to expect. that he saved money is not a minus. but if he saved without a clear purpose might signify a general ineptitude and complacency. but i guess we'll all have to hold our breadth and see how things work out. |
chesea aimed very high. they didn't get it all. but they got something. i'm proud of that of that than to belong to a club that only aims for bland ideals of playing good fotball. Up chelsea! |
To all Chelsea fans, ManU seems to be succumbing to pressure finally. More AMENS ooo, the premierships moves closer to within our reach. |
Arsenal 0 - 1 West Ham Lose finally in Emirates |
Pat Utomi was simply wonderful. he didn't find a match in Buhari. Concise ideas. Sharp and straight to the point. Every Nigerian should be proud to have him as president |
I hope you are not forgetting that there is another AYUA administrative panel that also indicted him. The National Assembly ad-hoc committee on PTDF also indicted him. INEC can base their disqualification on any of these. |
like i have heard several times, VICTORY FOR DEMOCRACY!! I'd 've loved to see how he fares at the polls anyway. But i'm sure there wont be an end to litigations this way. I hope some mischievious persons wont obtain an injuction at the last minute to prevent the election from holding like Nzeribe's ABN |
carpenter:this movie also made me shed some tears. saw it bout 20yrs ago too. Burning Train (an indian movie) was also moving The Promise Hotel Rwanda |
i'm just learning the ropes in dba, but i've found out that the cmd prompt can be fun. it gives u a feeling of being in control, but i'll just get the job done with a gui if i'm constrained for time. |
larryoncol:has cabali tried out larry's suggestion. I think that should do it. |
nazzyon:it's no longer there. they've changed the story. This is what you have at the link now: "Yar'Adua is not Dead! The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Musa Yar'Adua is hale and hearty, a statement from the party said today. John Odey, National Publicity Secretatry of the party said in Abuja that Yar'Adua is in Germany for a routine medical check-up, dousing rumours making the round that Yar'Adua was dead. Odey said Yar'Adua would soon return to join the campaign train of the party." All the other major dailies dont have that news too. It's not on cnn, not on sky news. For now, i think the news is false! |
congrats to all chelsea fans. we had some scary moments but it ended well. looking forward to the draws. we are definitely not afraid of drawing any team! |

mushki:another "tanzanian" |
gooners back to winning ways in the warm embrace of their emirates we thank God! |
@ugo, i talk for myself and everyone who does not want to see any perceived corrupt person become our president |
cabali:na lie be that! there's still hope. perhaps rooney will be out for the rest of the season and many other crazy things that can happen.we're not giving up hope |
Bankole01:just imagine it won't that be a wonderful opportunity for us to reject both of them at the polls! |
ludicrous ! davidylan:what will dna achieve in this situation when you don't have any other material to base your judgment on. will they go to heaven like david suggested. they are only trying to hack at the beliefs that form the foundations of the christian faith and it simply won't work like many other such schemes. How about the National Geographic documentary of last year that talks about a scroll written by Judas Iscariot. They simply don't understand what faith means! |
manscum or is it manure has refused to fall o! haba when liverpool just needed to have asserted themselves more with manu a man down |
thank God we're back to talking football ![]() Akolawole:when did fashanu become an ambassador for chelsea? but we'll really look forward to liverpool doing the job for us |
ugodaniel:that's an easy statement and rather careless statement to make when you live in cyprus. come to nigeria and see if the common man gives a damn about whether atiku runs for election or not. No one is fooled any longer about the stunts these people perform when they are seeking power. I won't be surprised if after everything atiku returns to the PDP. |
they were beaten 3 - nil by blackburn on sunday. They have one win from the last eight matches and a good number of key players are down; they are definitely not the team that started the season so brilliantly But we'll be playing them at home and it means they'll be hungry to reverse their fortunes, but they'll most likely want to play it safe. They'll want to have a draw at least. But we cannot afford even a draw at the moment. ManU is 9 points ahead. So we have to against them strong. I see no reason we shouldn't beat them. |
am reading "From third world to First; 1965 - 2000, the Singapore Story by Lee Kuan Yew" a must read for all our political leaders, they'll definitely be ashamed of themselves. Also good for those aspiring to public offices. Has some stuffs about the workability of the Western Styled democracies that has got me thinking about our democracy |
soludo says the coins will be lighter than previous ones and about 60% cheaper. The cost of production for the notes has fallen by 50% too. |

we thank God!
