I have 3 .net on MA list, I bought one recently cafee.net it was appraise on freevaluator for 10k but estibot.Com appraise am for $570. I got some other ones again freevaluator = $50k but estibot said $75. Am confused guys should I buy it or I should leave it. please I need advise guru in the house.

As I write earlier this thread is focusing on how to make money with NEW and EXPIRED domain names, tips, experiences. Do and Don'ts.

In one word a domain name is an online real estate. If you want to get a website for personal or business use, what you need first is a domain name. Just like if you want to to build a house, no matter your plans and design, you need a land first.
In other words, without a domain name there will be no website. Without a domain name there will be nothing like e-mail address. "Now how do I make money from it"? The truth is that most good domain names have been taken. ... They have all gone. For example all 3letter domains names has been taken. You can form it and confirm. The only avenue to target is expired domain names. And what is expired domain name again? These are domains that the original owners fail to renew. every domain has an expiry date. The maximum you can register a domain is 10 yr which the minimum is just 1 yr. Now if the original owner fail to renew it after the year duration, some grace period will be given after the domain will be dropped and become available for anyone to re- register and it's legal.

Now this is quite easy and anybody with the right information and tools can do it and have a wonderful result. This is from my personal experience and not a hear say. Now this is richly profitable but just like any other business it has some basic strategies and ways to do it in order to get decent result.

Dont try to transact outside fiverr, don't request for contact (warn ur buyer dat u don't share contact ) u may loss ur badge or get ur account barned.
I lost my badge to fiverr for dis same reason b4.

Some client may outsmart u if u share ur contact wif dem(just keep ur business real) ...

I beg to disagree with you on that one. I have realized that we are the ones that paint ourselves black in Nigeria. I have a Nigerian account that is doing better than my US account so i abandoned d US account. As long as you know what you're doing, your gig would be purchased especially if you hae a video to show your skills or something.

The truth is dat in any business everybody have is own story to tell. Am in programming & Tech category, I once av a nigeria account and i dea Level 1 (Yes, everything is fine, untill one day i met a friend dat tell me about US account, i follow d instruction as e taught me).
Ehn! After 3days I receive my first order of $100 (to b sincere, all the money av make wif ma nigeria account is not even upto $150 and i dea level one) to cut d story short with just 3 orders wif US account i make 3X of ma nigeria account earning.


Belive it or not dea respect US to naija even if you have Good communication wif ur nigeria account.

WIf ma nAIJA account if i charge any client more $100 den go run, imagine dis but wif US dea go av listening ear even if dea cant afford it.

Testimony time

I just had my first big sale on fiverr.

It wasn't easy I must say. At first the buyer wanted voice over, recall I asked for how I could go about it and louie3 gave us a tutorial on natural voices which was what I used.

After the first delivery, the buyer requested a modification.

If you see the list eh, very long, and then she said some parts of the voice over sounded robotic. I was really depressed. I thought of cancelling, so as to avoid a low rating but something told me to keep trying.

To cut the long story short, since Friday, I have been modifying and she had been rejecting asking for more modification. Infact, I learnt a lot of things I could do with explaindio on my own from this gig alone. Fast forward to yesterday, she said I should remove the voice over and background music cos she just paid a seller for that, then do a little modification.

After sending the final modified video, she gave me a 5 star positive review(I didn't even ask for a review, infact I had zeroed my mind already that she was probably going to give me a 3 star review at the most) and said she loved the video and I did a wonderful job. The most interesting part, she also sent me the script to do another video for her!

Who says there's no God

I decided to share this for those who always think of giving up when things get so difficult, Don't give up, keep on trying, you don't know what God has in store for you. Imagine if I had asked for a cancellation? Probably would have been slammed with 1 star review

I don't think it'll read late cos I delivered the order in good time and she has been asking for endless modifications which I'm tired of giving. She wont pick out all the changes at once, she'll be picking it out one one and its quite frustrating editing and rendering a video all over again.

Do buyers leave feedback for cancelled orders? Yes, I notice dat recently, wen a buyer give me negative feedback after cancellation(Though i change am for em mama ).

I have a buyer like that once, but i told him that i will deliver the order to avoid late delivery, I also explain to him the effect of late delivery, luckily e understood. And i started using that method and it working (though good communication skills will implies).

If buyer reject your order and you don't want to deliver it again, it beta for u to cancel d order bcox it will affect ur delivery rate not just that ur buyer can cancel the order leave bad review (dis happen to me few weeks back, though I no take am easy with the lady).
Would it continue to be pending? Ans: if d delivery time pas it bcom late
Can the buyer withdraw the order? E call for cancellation (recently I notice if the order is late d buyer can cancel without any request and leave bad review dat hurt)
