Health / Common Mysterious Hidden Facts About Human Body by Olawoye4359(m): 12:23pm On Dec 01, 2017
We have all been reading some hidden
facts article published on different blogs.
But looking into this new collections of
mysterious hidden but common facts in
human body, we will all find it interesting.
Some of these collated facts are:
<b>1. A person cannot
taste food unless it is
mixed with saliva.</b>
Yes! Let's look at this way: For example, if
strong-tasting substance like salt is placed
on a dry tongue, the taste buds will not be
able to taste it. As soon as a drop of saliva
is added and the salt is dissolved, however,
a definite taste sensation results. This is
true for all foods. Try it!

And this is due to the reason that
Chemoreceptors in the taste buds of your
tongue require a liquid medium in order
for the flavors to bind into the receptor
molecules. If you don’t have liquid, you
won’t see results.
CAN I USE ANY FORM OF LIQUID
INSTEAD OF SALIVA??
Technically you can use water for this
purpose rather than saliva. However, saliva
contains amylase, an enzyme that acts on
sugars and other carbohydrates, so without
saliva sweet and starchy foods may taste
different from what you expect. !

<b>2.The three smallest</b>
bones in your body are
all found inside your
ear
It's mysterious that the three smallest
bones in human body are found in the EAR
and you would be completely deaf without
them!.
These three bones are known formally as
the MALLEUS, INCUS and STAPES (and
informally as the hammer, anvil and
stirrup, after their approximate shapes).

<b>3. 8 percent of people
have an extra rib.</b>
If you just counted your ribs and found
that you have 26 of them you are a one in
five hundred event. Most people are born
with 24 ribs, a dozen on each side of the
rib cage. But if you have more you’re a
rarity. The extra ribs in humans are known
as cervical ribs, or neck ribs. They usually
appear, as one of the common names
suggest, near the neck. They are caused by
a congenital abnormality. But if you
thought that extra ribs in humans was
freaky, it gets even weirder.
In some extremely rare cases a few people
have been known to have 2 extra cervical
ribs, for a total of 28, or 14 on each side of
the chest. And it's also mystery too.

This your title sef get as e be :

It should be :

"How easy is it........" undecided

As to your questions...

1) Can't remember the points.

But One thing is that the cut-off is constantly fluctuating in response to the success or failure of students in JAMB.
So just aim for scoring high and uhmm... The sky is your limit.

2) The points are calculated with Jamb being 50% and Waec/Neco/gce being 50%.

So, bascially whatever you score in jamb/400 * 50%. = x

As for your waec :

A1 = 8 pts

B2 = 7 pts
..
..
..
.:
D7 = 2 pts
E8 = 1 pt
F9 = 0 pt.

Whatever the total is/64 (8 subjects only) * 50% = y

So x + y = 100%.

Voila!

3)
Their school fees get as e be sha...

Compared to their Alutaism, it's pretty friggin high.

And other miscellanous stuffs I'm sure you'll pick out in blogs.

Goodluc.

Investment / We Cannot Go After MMM Promoters EFCC Tells National Assembly by Olawoye4359(m): 10:46pm On Nov 10, 2016
There are indications that EFCC may not be able to go after MMM promoters as they see them as people going about their own personal and private business which is not illegal. According to report from a source in EFCC, MMM is not an unlawful business as such we cannot go after the promoters of MMM. Our questions to the National Assembly is ” What are we going to charge the promoters of MMM for? What law have they violated? What money has the system stolen?. All these and many more are questions that we need to consider before taking any actions. MMM does not have any office in the country where we can go and ask for details about their activities. So our hands are tight

39 ANCIENT WISDOM TIPS FOR SINGLES ON MARRIAGE By D.K. Olukoya G.O MFM 1. Wedding is a day but marriage is a lifetime . 2. A stingy man who is single will still be stingy when married. 3. Silence . never be misquoted. 4. If you want what no one has had, you must do what no one has done. 5. When God wants to bless you, He puts a person in your life. When Satan wants to destroy you, he puts a person in your life. 6. It is better to be single and alone than to be married to the wrong person. 7. Avoid a contentious woman. 8. 3 men to avoid: a. A hot tempered man. b. A womanizer. c. A drunkard. 9. Marrying a comedian does not guarantee a happy marriage. 10. Never be yoked to anyone who will not be yoked to God. 11. 3 words that echo peace in a marriage: a. I love you . b. I am sorry . c. Thank you. 12. Don't waste your time meditating or dwelling on your singleness. 13. Cohabitation is a recipe for marital failure . 14. Deal with anti-marriage dreams. 15. Masturbation is destruction. 16. Marriage without friendship is like a sky without the sun. 17. If you rush into marriage, you may end up with someone who will bury your destiny. 18. A successful marriage is always a triangle : God, a man and a woman. 19. Why you marry is as important as who you marry. 20. Much happiness in life depends on your marital choice. 21. A man needs divine wisdom from God in choosing who to marry. 22. Do not place your priority on good looks; no woman is ugly, she just needs rebranding. 23. 3 major characteristics to look for in a woman: a. Fear of God. b. Wisdom. c. Discretion (beauty is vanity). 24. The best way to enslave a woman is to show her love excessively - as a rule, women don't run away from where they're pampered. 25. Love is not blind; infatuation and lust are blind. 26. Love puts God first, lust puts sex first. 27. Test every love with your peace of mind, if it is absent, God is not there. 28. If you are a true friend, you will attract true friends. 29. Caring hearts never lack caring hands. 30. Desperation leads to frustration. 31. Bad marriages can be avoided before they begin. 32. Keep yourself pure and your bed undefiled. 33. It is spiritual insanity to plan to convert someone so you can marry the person. 34. Wage war against the devil that fought your parents' marriage. 35. Marriage is a covenant, always look before you leap. 36. It is better to be single and believing God to be married than to be married and believing in God to be single. 37. A broken courtship is better than a failed marriage. 38. Do not marry money or property, marry a person. 39. Be presentable. _Pls forward it to the singles and married on your contact list._

Phones / Re: The Prices Of Gionee M6 And M6 Plus Will Surprise You by Olawoye4359(m): 6:09pm On Jul 30, 2016
bongolistik:
The monstrous battery capacity Gionee M6 device has been launched together with elder brother Gionee M6 Plus

Now the only differences between the Gionee M6 and Gionee M6 Plus can be seen in their display sizes and batteries.

While the Gionee M6 spots 5.5inches display together with 5000mAh battery, the M6 Plus on the other hand is bigger, featuring 6.0 inches display and 6020mAh battery capacity, sharing similar battery capacity with their younger brother Gionee M5.

Another important feature to note on the Gionee M6 and M6 Plus is that they both came in 2 variants of 64GB and 128GB internal storage.

But we are interested in taking look at the price tags for these two devices.

The launch price for Gionee M6 64GB variant was pegged somewhere around $409 (N122,700) while its 128GB variant is around $439 (N131,700).

Then on the Gionee M6 Plus 64GB variant, the launch price was place at around $454 (N136,200) and its 128GB variant stood somewhere around $485 (N145,500).

Having seen the prices for the Gionee M6 and M6 Plus newly launched devices, what are your take on the prices? Do you consider them pricey or are the prices truly commensurate with the powerful specs that the devices are packed with.

Or will you rather go for Samsung devices of similar price range? What are your takes?
