Dhilariousdandy: Lol...you said it all bro. However, I just noticed that this Ola whatever enjoys calling people a scammer for no good reason, this is how this idiot came to my thread and started calling me names, I don't know him from Adams, and I have never hired him for any writing project before, but this good for nothing brat came to my thread and was calling me a trickster and a scammer for nothing sake. Started bragging how his newly acquired laptop can pay for my house rent (lol), meanwhile, I just saw where he mentioned he bought a mac laptop with his last card LMAO . Well, I rest my case, that guy need to grow. "needs" not need. Some of you think one's life starts and ends freelancing online . Don't forget I hold a degree and I'm gainfully employed in a coy too. Why can't you write your content yourself? Why spamming Nairaland literature section looking for cheap writers at 0.5/w rate? You need a quality job, then pay your writers adequately. lili4509: If you're a newbie, use a foreign acct and abstain from nasty buyers. Buy an old USA or UK acct, use a clean gig image and be super responsive. Only experienced sellers can use naija ACCTS cos they won't tell u what works for them. With a foreign acct, u can get clients. Deport it yourself when verification comes. With reviews on your profile and a good ranking, sales will keep coming. You can also attempt moving your buyers offline. Add your URL and email to a file and deliver with the order. |

ranson: I will like to add little to this drama between Olawrites and the guy.
While Olawrites was complaining about the guy, I was already writing for him under the Monica, Flambo02. I have done the first draft already and a revision.
Note: I've not yet reached a conclusion on whether he is scammer, but his attitude looks suspicious.
First, he asked me to write 5 articles of 800 words each, but with minimal instructions. I told him immediately that the requirements are too minimal. Just the a keyword for each post. I asked if I should create any topic based on the keywords provided. He responded in the affirmative.
A day or 2 after submitting the 5 articles, he sent me a screenshot supposedly coming from the client stating that the articles are generally okay, but i should try to incorporate some 3 new keywords (he just provided) to make the content more engaging. He also asked that I should also add some examples of the subject matter. Of course, these are normal requests. So, I got back to work to fix the content.
I did as request and submitted the revised version. It was after submitting the editted version i saw Olawrites post on NL. Immediately, compared the phone number. I discovered I'm writing for the same person under a different Monica. I quickly ran to WhatsApp, then I saw my guy updating his status saying he is about changing his phone number. I sent him a message immediately asking why is he changing his phone number, that he should leave the new one in case so we can communicate. He agreed
Then, 2 days later (today) my guy came up with another another screenshot from the client. This time, he was making a list of complains about: how the texts were tool long for his kinds of fans, and how the content are not engaging enough. He also introduced another keyword.
Immediately I saw that, I just add 2+2. I've entered one-chance.
You don't need multiple Monicas as a professional writer who wants to engage other writers.
I told him I can't be going back and forth on such a simple project. I don't work for writers on NL anymore. It's because i need money urgently for the salah festival that made me to fall into his trap.
For me, I don't feel pained. I know the risk is always there when you write for someone without the protection of escrow.
I don't know why Olawrites doesn't want to upload the controversial content. But, if he decides to do the same with me, I will upload the original content and our WhatsApp conversations, including his strange whatsapp DP.
I don't want to call him a scammer yet because some buyers can be irrational at times.
But when too many people are complaining same thing about you, I think something is wrong about you.
Flambo02 (or whatever other monica you use) try amend your ways, you can't win forever on a wrong path.

I don't like the way this whole thing is going. Its suffocating and I have a reputation to protect. You wrote 15 bad articles but I should compensate you for your efforts. I really wanted to until the whole thing went south. You deceived me by sending a sample that isn't yours. You still had the effrontery to deny your content. Olawrites I'm really tired of this show. elonna5: You did this ba.. The last five decades has been a reminder of the yearly 1959 experience that served a memory lane for the death of the boys that died in the fire incidents long ago. Frank Lawrence narrated. His existence in life made him yet in solving the one of the Arkansas' greatest mysteries of all time. In the year 1959, about sixty-nine African-American teenage boys ages 13 to 17, were locked in their hostel for the night at the “Negro Boys Industrial School” in Wrightsville. Twenty-one boys are reportedly died in the strange inferno that night.
It happens around 4 a.m., suddenly a mysteriously inferno got burst into flames, forcing the teenage boys to fight for their lives and claw their way out of the burning building with no assistance. It'll be an event in history possibly will be forgotten or unknown by many to come, but it’s that same event that took the life of twenty-one teenage school boys.
When the smoke filled the air on that fateful morning in 1959, the boys' that was burned to death were found sleeping on one another in the corner of their hostel.
However, there is a survivor of the event, he’s now 48 who had survived because he escaped by snooping off mesh metal screens from both windows. Majority of the boys that were killed all ran back to a corner of their dormitory. The dreadful event temporarily made headlines globally that brought the necessary attention and the awful conditions in which the boys lived.
The only conditions to point were when 69 boys all go to bed at night in the dormitory, in a space that’s hardly big enough for them to move about around and they’re one foot apart from one another congestion and you’d to get up at night and go to the bathroom, the boys had to defecate in buckets which isn’t friendly..
I thought you have orders on queue? She has instructed you on what to do I guess. Keep editing them to your taste and put it out for the gullible ones like yourself to believe.. Lol Enough said. |

ranson: I don't even know it's a she.
I was the one who asked her when I'm I getting paid after delivery, and she said once the order is marked. I have no problem about that.
Since you're still communicating with her, you can ask her if I ever demand that she pay me for the work. I know already that I did not wait to complete the cycle.
I believe you're the one who called her attention to my "epistle" here on NL. She already contacted me and I told her I've lost my enthusiasm writing for her after seeing the argument on NL.
It wouldn't have been so if those requirements have been made known from the onset. The client was bringing up new demands after fulfilling previous ones.
So, if you're in my shoe, working for her for the first time and you're reading all that about her, will you have the energy to keep writing, wasting time and resources? Thank God you backed out asap She is a female. Her name is Lilian Emmanuel - a Scammer. |

I haven't seen anyone who said my content was excellent and I wasn't paid. I know that person from FB and trust me scamming is a no no. She's bigger than that. She constantly hires writers on smart money empire and no one has ever called her a scammer. She might be arrogant and bad tempered but not a scammer. I know guys who still write for her till this date. She has excellent writing skills which is why her standards are high and she doesnt give second chances. The reason I stopped commenting on the olawrites case is because all 15 content he delivered was bad. She sent them to me on WhatsApp. He copied Wikipedia and did nonsense. A little mistake and one nasty buyer will go to CS and your account will be banned. Stop supporting evil Mr man. I have my thriving account on Fiverr and other cool platforms.
