If your MI Account is active, Bootloader cant be unlocked. the Phone cant be downgraded and Cant be flashed through fastboot due to the Bootloader, 1. If the theif is flashing through EDL, he would need an MI Authorised Account, which is very expensive to get. 2. If he wants to bypass the MI Cloud, he has to live the VPN for the rest of the Lifes Phone, VPN would keep shutting down from time to time. he wont enjoy it. but its still tackable if you can log in to ur MI Account.

You'll have to unlock bootloader, then flash a global fastboot ROM via Mi Flash Tools using your PC.

Not a clear run, but speaking based on fact, the RN10 PRO is far better. Even performance wise despite using same chipset.

Camera on the RN10 PRO is better, battery, performance, not the talk of the fact that it spots a super amoled display.

It'll flash automatically itself. Either ways, make sure you have a zip file of the update before allowing it to flash. In case.

The limit on Redmi 7 is 580.

And that's due to the screen resolution. 720p.

It's not an issue with your android version.

Those that are using android 10 on a 1080p device can go lower than 580 to as low as 700.

Also, note that some themes do not support a particular dpi. So before changing that theme, read reviews or change your DPI to default. That way, you'll be safe from having to wipe data whenever it bootloops.

If you don't mind LCD display, the X3 NFC is the better device.

And let me also add that the quality of the LCD display used on the X3 NFC is no child's play. Can compete with some devices with some devices with AMOLED screen.
